This is a small almost intimate resort with a lovely pool, more than adequate a la carte breakfast and excellent reasonably priced restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful especially Fery, Ika & Eta. Restaurants, exchange and massage just outside and a short walk to the main street attractions. The many stairs improved our mid 70s muscle tones. Rooms are big enough and privatised by copious vegetation. Lots of squirrels, butterflies, birds and geckos in this jungle setting. The ants don't sting and mossies were unagressive. Overall a nice place for a party-free restful stay.

The new owner is progressively updating the place and we experienced occasional glitches which were satisfactorily dealt with. Nothing really negative to report.

It was a great room with a beautiful common pool. the location is great. you are close to the center, it is a 10-minute walk and you have many things around. the hotel itself is tucked in the forest, very nice. the breakfast was fine and the staff was great. I totally recommend

for such a nice room there were many little things. like the walls were a bit damp needs repainting, the door didn't entirely close, or the shower head pressure was very low. Clearly, it is time to do a minor renovation but all in all, it wouldn't bother you.

The property was set in a little valley behind the busy streets, and felt like a jungle retreat. The staff were very kind (especially in the bar) and the drinks were considerably cheaper than in town. The pool was nice and a lovely way to relax after a day on the bike.

There were a few snags during our stay, including the air-con and the fridge not working…. All fixed. The bigger issues were - construction work has almost finished, however check before you go, because jt still impacted our stay. - we stayed in one of the upper units, next to the bar, which meant we were woken up each morning by the staff chatting. - our unit had only recently been painted, which meant the whole unit smelt of varnish, our clothes smelt of varnish, and if you hang anything wet…. It will probably be stained by the varnish.

This property is located right in the heart of Ubud. The staff was always friendly and polite. Breakfast was to die for.

The mattress could definitely be upgraded for more comfort and they could improve on cleanliness. Yes, there are bugs here and there but it’s not the hotels fault because it’s located right in the middle of a lush forest so bugs are definitely expected.

The location of the hotel was truly excellent. Being close to the city center made it very easy for us to reach many places. It was a great advantage to be within walking distance of both tourist attractions and restaurants and cafes. Staying in such a convenient location made our trip much more enjoyable. Additionally, the spaciousness of the hotel room and the bathroom was truly impressive. The room was very satisfying in terms of cleanliness and ventilation as well. These details made our stay much more comfortable and pleasant.

Although the hotel was generally nice, there were a few shortcomings that caught my attention. Firstly, the water pressure in the bathroom was insufficient. Especially in a place like Bali, where water is abundant, I believe a stronger water pressure could be provided for the shower. Additionally, the breakfast may vary due to cultural differences, but it was not sufficient for us. Offering a wider variety of options at breakfast could make the stay more enjoyable.

Great location, right in the centre of Ubud and yet totally peaceful. The staff friendliness is also a highlight

They were doing some building work around the pool which seriously limited the amount of lounge chairs available and I think the management should have made us aware of this before hand. Also the toiletries are so bad with heavily scented strawberry soap. I think this along with towels etc could do with an upgrade. Also the fan in our room was nearly falling apart and not useable . Totally understand that Covid hit them hard but hopefully they’ll be able to make some investment to improve these small details in the future.

Room was big and clean, the bed was very nice and was a four poster. We had a nice balcony with a great view of the pool, although we never actually got in it as it was raining pretty much the whole time we were there which was a shame as it looked nice. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Food wasn't particularly great. We went for lunch on our arrival day and it wasn't something we went back for again. The chicken burger was fake chicken and everything was a little bit cold.

I had a great time at Jungle Haven Resort. The room was beautiful with a comfortable bed, bath, and rainfall shower. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was excellent - only 10 mins walk to the city centre with many options for food, spas, and convenience stores along the way. There is a restaurant on-site as well, which has very good food. This accommodation offers an oasis of tranquility in the middle of the busy-ness of Ubud. I would happily stay here again.

Beautiful jungle hotel away from the stressful town, perfect place to relax on the pool. Very good breakfast with views to the pool and jungle.

The staff and the food was amazing. I can't believe people have complained about the breakfast! Every morning it was so tasty! And a variety of options. The cleaning staff, reception, and kitchen staff were all amazing and so happy to help. Fery (one of the cleaners) went above and beyond and it was so nice to chat to someone with kids as well. Would definitely stay again ✨️

Only issue was the door was difficult to lock. And the shower sprayed out of the shower cubicle on the first day but they fixed it starlight away.
