The lighting in room, the care of staff remembering little things, great breakfast and pool. I would stay again as is perfectly located and quiet. Even with the hiccups it was a pleasant stay and would stay again.

Room inconsistencies: The shower wasn't consistent with hot water or pressure, even asking for it to be fixed. Ants everywhere, which is quite common in Bali anyways. My clothes after the room clean on the first day were just thrown on the floor on top of my suitcase, no care. Things take to be washed, which were unnecessary. I was walked in twice by staff, one when I was trying to sleep, another while I was on the toilet. Luckily, both times I had clothes on. I feel education around waiting for an answer is needed and boundaries. No boundaries create unnecessary anxiety.

Everything. Rooms are cosy and well appointed with great functional layout. Pool is beautiful and gardens lovely. Staff are kind, thoughtful and remember the smallest details. Location is quiet yet within walking distance to town or a quick scooter.

Quiet and comfortable

Very friendly staff, nice pool area, wonderful room, good breakfast. The whole package was ideal for us. We found little to nothing that would be worth subtracting any points from the 10.

The only points we can think of is that the positioning of the shower and the toilet isn’t ideal. You have to walk through the (sometimes wet) shower to get to the toilet and unfortunately we couldn’t find a way not to flood the toilet area while showering, which means we had to place a towel on the floor each time one of us showered. The location is a little outside of Ubud but nothing a Grab or ideally a scooter couldn’t solve.

A lovely clean refreshing hotel accommodation. From the 1st floor overlooking the pool was just a picture. The pool is just perfect for after that long adventurous day in Ubud.The staff are all very pleasant and welcoming . The shower and hot water was a real pleasure to use and bathroom facilities. The walls and curtains are very clean and nicely decorated with extra good lighting and a huge TV And air-conditioning.

Good to have some creamer for the coffee or tea… In the room. “Just a recommendation”

The space felt like home! We rented the villa with private pool and it felt like we were the only ones at the hotel. We didn’t even go to the common pool area -our yard felt like paradise. Private, clean and the beds were so comfortable. The rooms had wonderful shampoo and body wash and hand soap, but no conditioner. So bring your own if you need it. The staff was so amazing. They were always smiling and never said no to anything. They were truly what made this stay so lovely. Every morning we would wake up to the wonderful smell of incense and I had to buy the same ones to recreate the same feeling at home ! I would 100% stay here again. It’s about a $1 -$2 grab into town so it’s a bit difficult to walk because of the sidewalks being uneven/missing at times. However, it makes for a quiet and wonderful stay when back at the villa. It felt like I was coming home. Room service was very reasonable. Breakfast choices were $4-6 and same with dinner options. There is also a coffee shop right in front of the villa if you want smoothie bowls or different drinks. The circle K is like a 1 minute walk away so it’s easy to get anything small that you may have forgotten.

Hotels location is not so close to the center however if you travel with a motorbike, there is usually no traffic in the road and it is easy to get to the center. Also there is a parking available In the room they even put an umbrella, that was sos thoughtful. We stayed in the villa for 3 nights and everything was clean, the bathroom smells nice and it is really comfortable for 4 people. There is a yellow lizard in the garden, I guess he is harmless. He just likes to sit and watch the pool :) Staff is so friendly and they help us anytime we need.

The bathroom ceiling is glass and it is not completely closed, most of the time there were geckos in the shower but they escape when you make noise. Similarly even the windows and the doors are closed, there are gaps. So again a few geckos came inside. But when we tell the staff they immediately came and took them out, and checked the whole house.

Clean and well kept property. Room is provided with hairdryer, pool towels, 2 bottles of waters every day, comfortable bed and pillows and also an umbrella. The pool is nice and just outside the room. The place is quiet and 15-20min walking distance from the center. You can get breakfast and meals at the property but there are few cafes nearby. If you are vegetarian there is a nice Indian restaurant next door.

The pool water was sometimes not so clear. We used it anyway without any issues but it would be more inviting to have clear water.

This sparkling oasis, nestled snugly in a hip, lush green neighborhood, within walking distance of two stellar restaurants, a small convenience store, and excellent laundry service, was the most like a local at home I’ve felt in my time in Bali.

I like everything about Chandi. I’d love to see breakfast built into the price—or even just a set up in the lobby with Balinese coffee with fresh milk.

The staff was amazing, the breakfast over the top, the hotel itself was beautiful and the rooms was so comfortable! We would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone. If you don’t wanna walk all the way down to the city there is restaurants, cafes and a market close by.

It is a 20-30 minutes walk from the city centre. For us, it was not a problem! You can also hire scooters at the hotel if you do not like to walk, or use grab!
