It is exactly as marketed on this website. The property and the garden are beautifully maintained, surrounded by the beautiful flowers and lush forest. I was on my solo-trip and I’m surprised this hotel not too crowded, so I got to enjoy the whole pool by myself at some point. It feels like a sanctuary to unplug from noise. It’s not too far from Ubud (10mins driving, 25mins by feet). There are some interesting shops around this villa too :)

The AC is not cold enough for me despite setting it to 16 degrees celcius. But I managed to sleep so it was alright. The Balinese fried rice from breakfast menu was a little too flavourless, should have stuck with the banana pancake all the way 🥲 otherwise, everything else was perfect.

The property is very nice, clean, and has good service. We enjoyed having our breakfast every morning on our balcony with a view to the inner garden that was in full bloom. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The hotel is situated at a 30 minutes walk from city center, a walk that is enjoyable - the downside for us was that we were there after a land slide, so we had to walk several times a day through the construction site since it's the only way. Obviously this is not a negative for the hotel :)

The bathroom was kind of small, it has a bath tub and a shower "area" - if you want to take a shower the water will splash the whole bathroom, specially the toilet that is too close to that area. It isn't necessary a bad thing, but for us it would have been better without the tub.

Writing this while still at Ketut’s on our last night, and we already don’t want to leave! This place is everything you see online and more. The staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and humble, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was cleaned daily to an exceptional standard, the grounds were beautifully maintained, and the pool area was the perfect place to relax. We even had the pleasure of meeting Ketut himself—such a warm and wonderful man. And of course, we can’t forget Cleo, the coolest dog around! If you’re planning a trip, make sure Ketut’s is part of your accommodation plans. You won’t regret it!

Staff was very kind, friendly and always available. This is a hidden gem in Ubud, in the green jungle. We were celebrating our honeymoon and the staff prepared a welcome message for us. we had the floating breakfast in the pool which was amazing.

Our trip was in February and it was quite humid. The AC was really good and it has a Wet option which eliminates water from the air. Room cleaning can be improved: there was some wood ash under the bed; some dead insects on the top of the bed’s baldachin. This is a small detail and we are really picky with cleaning. The bathroom sink faucet was loose and could use some silicone.

Ketut Villa is located away from the hubbub of Ubud, near the rice fields. It’s quieter than staying in the town and you can walk in peace and fresh air. The staff were lovely, helpful and polite. It is a villa, the rooms were mostly separate luxury cottages set on a hill, connected by stairs, very traditional architecture and compact. We had several onsite massages and were relaxed after touring Ubud and the rest of Bali.

This pertains to all of Bali, we were told that after the pandemic, Bali was overwhelmed by visitors and tourism, which it was. A short trip to a site was a minimum of 1/2 hr by Grab (Uber) . Though on the last day we hired the motorscooter options and had a lot of fun, and was the fastest. But how slow was it? From Ubud to the airport was around 24 miles. The taxi took 2hr 15mins to get us there.

- quiet location - beautiful views from pool and most of the rooms - delicious food in the restaurant, quite large selection of breakfast options - very helpful staff Ketut (owner) is really nice guy, if you have any questions about anything, he is always happy to help! And not just him, anyone from the staff will :)

- minor thing we overlooked: trips booked via reception cover only the transportation cost, any entrance fees and taxes have to be paid by yourself on top of transport

We have stayed in the traditional balinese villa and it was absolutely beautiful. The garden/restaurant and pool area is beautiful. We also had a great massage in the spa. Staff were very helpful and kind. They helped us arrange a private tour around ubud and also private transfer to Padang Bai. They took care of us and have been always so kind - something we experienced in many places in Bali.

The hotel is in north ubud and there is neither a shuttle nor taxi around the area to go to the centre. We had to download the Grab app but it is easy to use and helped us getting around with no issues.

Beautiful tranquil location outside the madness of Ubud centre. Calm and relaxing pool area. Wonderful staff and good breakfast.

One day breakfast took 2 hours to arrive (best to preorder night before to avoid any delays) The free shuttle into town is a great and appreciated addition but only runs 10, 2pm and 7pm and only goes if requested.

Ketut’s Place Villas Ubud is the most beautiful place I have ever been. Every detail of design started from walls, door of the villa and finish with design of territory was created with soul. You can feel spirit of local culture. Room of the villa is very specious with all necessary amenities. Big terrace of the villa where you can enjoy quiet time in the evening. Location of the villa is very close to all main attractions. And most important staff of this place is very welcoming, friendly, helpful and always meets and greets with smile and kindness. Also very affordable price for such beautiful place. My definite recommendation to stay in Ketut’s Place Villas Ubud.
