Honestly wonderful place, friendly staff, good breakfast.

1h walk from centre, but 10min by scooter so no problem

incredible place to stay. staff are all so lovely and welcoming, very helpful too. the room we stayed in was stunning, we will be going back. I really loved the bathroom especially because it was slightly open so you could see outside :)

the only thing we werent 100% sure on is the big dog. they have 3 dogs which are all actually super friendly when the owner is there, however at night time, the big dog is a bit scary.

It’s my first time in Bali, and I chose this hotel for my first week while I was looking for a longer-term place. But I liked it so much that I decided to stay here for the whole month! 😍 It’s really cozy here, just like home! The staff are wonderful, always smiling, and the owners are very kind and welcoming. The hotel is always clean, they clean every day, the air conditioner works well, the pool is clean, and they even cook good food if you ask. It feels like they treat you with care and understanding, and I really appreciate that 👍 The location is good — you can reach the center in 10 minutes by bike. Supermarkets are also nearby. No mold, no dampness, everything is clean, and there’s hot water. If something goes wrong, they fix it the same day — huge respect for that! For me, this is a perfect place compared to other places I’ve seen. The price and quality are totally worth it! 🔥 I recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort and coziness. And be sure to try the Balinese massage at this hotel.

The only downside is that sometimes the internet is unstable (but usually it works fine). If high-speed internet is important for your work, like it is for me, just get mobile data. In all other cases, the internet works fine 😉

The host, Dewa, and his wife, as well as all the staff are so warm & friendly. It gives the already beautiful place an added oomph to the stay. The rooms are cosy, clean, and spacious, with a proper Bali vibe to those who crave that feel. The sound of water right outside my room is so soothing. Dewa arranged coconut water for me daily, because I requested to have that instead of the standard scrambled egg/etc for breakfast. His wife put incense outside my room too when I was so happy with the incense being done in their little temple, and requested for the same. It's these little things. Thank you to the whole team & keep up the great work!

- rooms are basic, but all you need - staff was very friendly ans helpful - free coffee and tea next to the area where breakfast is served - I had my own fish pond in front of the room

- I would have loved to have a small lamp at the side of the bed (on bedside table) - the door didn’t close all the way, there was a huge gap so mosquitos could come in and it is a waste of energy for the air con - no sun beds at the pool - a mosquito net would have been great

- They clean everyday; - staff are super helpful and if anything is wrong in the room they will try to fix it straight away; - Massage (for a fee) is extremely amazing; - nice place to make friends; - more quiet but 10 min bike ride to center; - breakfast is simple but tasty. Disliked: - they need to fix the entrance, there is a hole right where you enter and if you are hiring a scooter is a bit hard to go through as the gate is a bit tight;

Julii was wonderful and everyone we met from Dedeane was very friendly. Well located on Main Street yet very calm inside with private motorbike parking. Fine breakfast and pool area. Perfectly clean and comfortable.

The place hosts a lot of yoga and very open minded people so some early morning & late night conversations in common area may disturb you if your room is nearby :)

Absolutely loved staying here. The location is great, with lots of really good cafes and restaurants nearby (walking distance). The place itself is really beautiful and tranquil. I liked being around all the different classes that were going on in the yoga space - it was very relaxing. The staff were lovely and friendly. We would have loved to extend!

We got placed in the sister property of Dedeane, as I think they were expecting to have finish construction of extra room and they were some delay. So this review is for Wanakubu homestay. The property was fabulous, located in front of the rice field in a very quiet area, the room was large and comfortable, hot shower and aircond and a small swimming pool, could access the kitchen, and free water and coffee. It was incredibly peaceful! Ayu and Maria took great care of us, always smiley and giving us many recommendations, we arrived as guest and we left with a family feeling. We will miss you! We stayed 7 days at the property and the time flew! Its a little outside Ubud center, but with a scooter no issue. If you want to experience real Bali and rest it's the perfect location.

It was rainy a lot and we got a little rain inside the bathroom, it didn't bothered us too much as we got towel to sponge, but it will probably damage the bathroom in the long run and this increase the humidity in the room. Otherwise no complain!

I booked one week and after 3 days, booked another 1.5 week, staying here 2.5 weeks in total. The location is beautiful, out of the Center, the staff and so lovely and friendly, excellent facilities with pool and water. The room was excellent. Private, cleaned daily, lovely koi fish pond.

There was building works while I was there, so it was a bit dusty and noisy but the staff cleaned every day and eventually the works finished. If you don’t ride a scooter, it’s far from the Center but I loved that it was out of the busyness.
