Really great view of the forest Spacious villa Free spa treatment for 2 people

It's called L’OCCITANE but there's no cosmetics of this brand in the room. And it seems there's no this brand even in the spa. Limited breakfast Environment is a bit old and moldy

our welcome did put us off initially! Welcome drink was provided only after asked. information given to us was patchy. we didn’t feel welcomed. Can provide body cream, shampoo and conditioner in the room WI-FI connection was intermittent

Wonderful place, exclusive, very clean, service at the highest level, delicious breakfasts and food in the restaurant. Wonderful and very helpful, nice employees. Especially Head Butler Amy was amazingly helpful and assisted us in our stay in most professional and friendly way. The best driver and our trip assistant was Wayan June is very kind, helpful and professional as well. Kupu Kupy Barong hotel is beautifully located with a fabulous view of the river and the jungle. I am so happy to choose this place for my holidays in Bali it made it even more magical and special!!!!

Loved the ambiance of the whole resort. I loved the privacy we received at our villa and the views were immaculate. The staff at the hotel were so hospitable, quick and welcoming. I also loved how friendly they were to my baby boy, definitely a baby friendly resort. Bonus was the free massage we received which is exactly what we needed after walking around all day. I honestly would love to come back again and have already started recommending this place to people.

The food could be better. For the amount we paid, I was expecting somewhat of fine dining but the breakfast and the in room dining was honestly not good. Advice would be to cater to international tourists and to diversify the menu. Also need to work on freshness of food you serve at the breakfast buffet. The TV in the room needs to be replaced, it was not working properly.

This hotel is absolutely magical — nestled deep in the jungle, the atmosphere is pure serenity. The staff are incredibly friendly and always respond to any request quickly and with a smile. I tried the spa and it was an unforgettable experience — a massage in a treehouse surrounded by nature, truly enchanting. I’ve been to Bali many times, but this is the first place where I felt such deep peace. It will definitely be my go-to place every time I visit Bali.

Where to start! This was the most beautiful accommodation I have ever stayed in. The staff were just beautiful and willing to do anything to assist you. The bar and restaurant were great, with great food and beverage options. The facilities onsite were just exceptional. We had complimentary massages at the spa, perfume making, and special treatment given to us for our honeymoon. I would absolutely recommend Kupu Kupu Barong villas.

Beautiful views over the forest, rooms are spacious. Mr Ketut and his staff are very polite and accommodating.

Beautiful big baths in the rooms, unfortunately not enough hot water to use them. Rooms lower on the mountain are well exposed to the river and the constant screaming of passing white water rafting passengers but that seems to get less as the daylight fades.

Breakfast was amazing. Staff were all beautiful. Our family villa was fantastic with a beautiful view. Best miegoreng noodles EVER!!!!

Spa was overpriced, so we opted not to get any treatments or massages. It felt very much like a couples resort, but we as a family still had a fabulous time, enjoying the quiet and each other's company. The resort pool didn't have a pool bar... but our private Villa pool had drinks flowing, so it was fine.

We spent a night at this gorgeous hotel which was exceptional in every way . it is nestled in the mountains with the most panoramic views of hills and the river below . This was our 8 th hotel stay in Bali as we are doing a road trip around the whole island . The bedroom was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated . The breakfast was excellent and the staff amongst the friendliest we’ve met who were attentive to our every need . There are stairs down to rooms however hotel provide a buggy service which we did use . Due to location just on outskirts of Ubud the hotel also provide a shuttle service into town . i highly recommend this hotel and their staff and sound definitely stay again

Staff were attentive to the needs. They even take time to address you by your name during breakfast. Service rendered was also fast and prompt.

Perhaps the nature bit? Since it was a jungle villa, be expected to see spiders, frogs, lizards and other insects around the place.
