The staff here at Tanamas are very hospitable and shows immense respect and gratitude towards the guest. From hotel front staff to housekeeping to security guard, everyone were very sweet and polite. I was heart touched with their positive attitude and down-to-earth temperament. Also the hotel is in good location, and the villa we were staying- with Jungle view was spectacular. You can jump to the pool/lagoon from your living room.

We went on hot season, so weather was challenging but they offered best air-conditioning. One thing that i personally would ask them to upgrade is to provide more water bottle or bigger size water bottle, as we were thirsty all the time, and we would need to buy water if we finish 2 allocated wattle per day. But no other downside

Beautiful villas in a super quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were all fantastic and the street the hotel is on is quiet enough to walk a pram down, but there are still a couple of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. We travelled with our 7 month old and were often the only people swimming in the pool for most of the day. Restaurant was also good and the staff were lovely, even looking after our son whilst we ate! If you have a more mobile baby it might not be the ideal place as the doors open directly onto the pool, but as our baby isn’t crawling yet, it was perfect. So idyllic and I would recommend it highly to anyone!

The property was absolutely beautiful! Equipped with everything you could need. Location is great as it’s out of busy central Ubud but a short taxi drive away! The food is absolutely amazing 10/10 and really well priced. Myself and my partner enjoyed the food so much we ate breakfast and dinner here most days! We had 2 ladies organised to come to the villa organised by the staff for massage which was great, pool side on our villa lounger. Amazing stay for the money and the staff are brilliant, couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

We loved everything about the property

The villas are 2 stories and feature a living area, outdoor bathroom and bedroom. THE BEDS ARE SO COMFY!!! Hard to get out of them! The pool access directly from the room is so unique and we used it a lot. The staff were very helpful and arranged a scooter for us as well as a transfer & boat to gili T for us. They always asked if we needed help getting any where and did so with a smile.

The breakfast was good but quite simple. Also the couch had some stains on it which made it feel like it wasn’t fully clean. You would need a scooter to stay here as the villas are about 10 minutes from Ubud town.

When I tell you, I didn't want to leaveeee?? I actually extended my stay for a night just because I loved it so much and just felt like resting some more. It was the best sleep I've gotten while in Bali, actually the best sleep I've gotten in a long time and in any hotel. If the hotel reads this, please tell me what mattress you have because I'm about to go buy it. The staff are super, super helpful and kind, and they are always looking to make you comfortable. Anything you need is always brought to your room lightning fast. They were just overall super considerate. I could go on and on about my stay. Clean, beautiful, spacious villa, clean towels, sheets and amenities. Loved it. Also, love how the pool is set up so you get your own private pool section, connected by a general river pool to float down if you want. Lastly, keep in mind you're in a tropical setting with nature around you-- the bathroom is outside (beautiful by the way) so if you're worried about an open concept bathroom and the elements/nature, I'll mention that. I get skeeved by insects in general but it wasn't bad at all. It was really tranquil and calming. Would definitely return if I'm staying in Ubud, again. It's a nice refuge from the busy surrounding areas. It's worth the price!

Not much else, or worth mentioning.

The location and the staff were really nice. Whenever I call for anything, they will be ready to assist. Very warm and welcoming people. Would recommend for 3 or 4 days to stay.

1. As the pool was connected, we had very little privacy, and other people were in front of our room. 2. If they can have the closet on the ground floor near the toilet, that would be amazing. 3. If the phone can be on the wall, instead of the tiny table, where we can keep the phone. 4. In villa 5, hot water was only available for 3 minutes, and the hand shower pressure was very strong , and it hurt the skin.

Wonderful experience at Tanama's Villas. Just outside Ubud only 5kms to town centre. The location was great, away from the noise & traffic of Ubud centre. Staff were fantastic, friendly and smiling. The meals & drinks at the restaurant were great. The food was fantastic. The pool was clean & fresh. It is a wonderful place to relax and chill out. The outdoor shower was awesome 👌

Absolutely loved the villa that was one of the best places we have stayed in. It was clean, spacious and super pretty. Every little details to it was beautiful and you could tell it was well thought through when creating it. Loved being able to wake up and jump into a pool straight from the porch and it being very peaceful and private somehow. It was nice having our own little porch to lay on by the pool. Lastly the staff were the most amazing, both the hotel staff but also the restaurant staff. Everyone made us feel super welcome and always tried to ensure that we were happy during our stay. They even left a lovely cake for us upon check in as we were there to celebrate both of us turning 30 this year. It was nice with a touch of a fancy robe and slippers, very luxury feeling.

The only thing which can't really be fixed is the location of the villas. They are in a very secluded area far from restaurants etc. We chose it due to wanting some peace and calm away from cars and stress which this is perfect for, however when we wanted to go out for dinner or so, walking to a restaurant wasn't that safe as there is no pedestrian road and super dark so you have to walk on the road and just be super careful when cars and motorbikes drive past you. Took us a while to get anywhere due to this but honestly the smallest thing that doesn't affect our beautiful stay.
