Amazing place to stay, staff and customer service by far the highlight

I think Gdas need to provide more transparency on their website and on this forum that the wellness centre is not available and under construction until 2023. Gdas is a beautiful place and the price is well discounted at the moment however I think it’s a bit sneaky representing the place and offerings as fully functional when there is a significant development underway. The Bali Eden is not operational, so please if you are booking this accom to access these facilities please note they are not open

Gdas has stolen our hearts from the moment we arrived. We went to Bali for the first time and Gdas really represents the finest of the finest in Bali. We already know for a fact (can you imagine? This is our third day in Bali). The smiles and lovely care on the faces of the Gdas workers gave us a unwritten memory of a second family. From the perfect breakfast to the sweet deserts in our room they surprised us with (every day!), but also the shuttle trips to the Ubud market and the perfect temperature of the bubble bath….. also the Pandan/citrus bath they made in our room….. speechless! Listen to our words: Treat yourself with the best, in Gdas you will find rest. Thanks for this memory Mr Akash and Mrs Jane

Absolutely nothing

This was literally a last minute trip, and to my surprise this place is incredible for relaxing. The architure of this place to say the least, is amazingly beautiful, it transmit peace. The landscape, the views, the smell, the sounds, background music is perfect. Even that the Hotel is still under construction, the available facilities are very nice! The gym, the Spa. But the best thing is the whole staff (in the restaurant, yoga teachers, spa staff, gym coaches,) extremely friendly, helpful and professional. They all make you feel like home, with a personal treat. But avobe everyone, my personal assistant JUNA, he is the friendliest person, professional, always helpful and flexible to accomodate last minute requests. Thank you very much for your kindness Juna. All be definitely coming back to GDAS!

The architecture, design , the staff especially the kitchen staff of Juli,Ani and Mudana were fantastic. They provided a free shuttle to Ubud Market and the driver was sensational The rooms and attention to detail is just out of this world. And the gym is just out of this world, especially the equipment . Pool area is also a bless would definitely stay again. The vegan restaurant compliments for the chef, it was like a piece of art too nice to eat but they all tasted delicious.

Although we knew some facilities weren't ready and still under construction they could have put more activities during the day such as workshop such meditation, pilates, drama, etc they had morning yoga and an activity around 4 pm. I wish they had more activities and workshops throughout the day.

The staff is very welcome and has a lot of attention to customers' needs. Every request was handled promptly and satisfactory. Facilities are very clean, well-managed, and look modern with slight traditional touch. Vegetarian food tastes great, especially we liked Burittos breakfast. The shuttle bus to Ubud is a very convenient feature.I only wish that the in-house spa and massage services were more affordable. The gym is great with all the devices looking new and working fine. The bath with lemongrass looks nice, but the water is quite cold to sit in. Overall, this place is comfortable and quiet, and the location is great.

We stayed 5 nights in a wonderful villa, highly recommended!! During the stay our Butler Agung fulfilled all possible wishes in the best possible way! The whole team is extremely friendly. We are not vegan, but we were delighted with the food. Both restaurants are excellent and very very fresh and tasteful. Even as a tourist you could eat everything (including salad). Many ingredients come from your own garden (herbs etc.) Just a perfect hotel in Ubud!!

Our experience at Gdas was truly amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptional—very friendly, attentive, polite and eager to ensure our stay was perfect. Their warmth and professionalism truly made us feel at home. The rooms were immaculate, showcasing a blend of elegance and comfort. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in, providing a restful night's sleep after our days of exploring. Every detail in the room was thoughtfully designed, making it a beautiful retreat. The resort's surroundings are a tropical paradise. Lush greenery and vibrant flora create a serene and picturesque environment that is perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. My son was thrilled with the gym facilities, which were top-notch. The equipment was modern and well-maintained, offering everything needed for a great workout. A special mention must go to our two exceptional guides, Agung and Manday. Their friendly demeanour and resourcefulness ensured we experienced the very best of the local area.

While we appreciated the effort put into the beautifully prepared vegan menu, we are not true vegans ourselves. It would be wonderful if the resort could consider upgrading the menu to include vegetarian options that incorporate eggs, offering more variety for non-vegan guests. This small addition could enhance the dining experience and cater to a broader range of dietary preferences.

I like how calming the place is, specially the interior and the pool, gym, staff are considerate and hard working they care about the little details . Loved the bedtime story that introduce us to the culture and everybody were helpful. Even when I was sick they brought to me ginger tea with honey and lemon which made me feel better. I fell in love with the welcome complimentary bath and I really appreciate such small details.

Spa isn’t ready yet which is really important so I would consider booking again only if the spa is done. Also healing sessions were fully booked for the whole 3 nights I’ve stayed (even though they managed to book me the at the last day after checkout) it was very stressful because I came specially for these sessions and wanted to explore more and nobody actually inform me to book prior my stay. I wouldn’t come back unless it’s child free because such places are for serenity not family vibes so I would recommend to this resorts to be adults only and +18. Also i knew by coincidence that I can order food that is non-vegan from the club nearby but unfortunately nobody informed me.

The facilities were breathtaking! The all vegan menu was amazing. I didn’t run out of options during my 5 night stay. The customer service was top-notch. I also enjoyed the secluded location in Ubud & they even provided a complimentary shuttle into town. Morning yoga was also complimentary which was a great experience.

I loved everything but have two recommendations: make it an adult only resort. A group of rowdy kids came, luckily my last day, & ruined the vibe. It would also be nice to add an evening guided breathing & meditation session in the same place yoga is held.

The staff was outstanding—genuinely kind, attentive, and professional. The service is by far the best I’ve experienced anywhere in the world. The premises, with their beautiful pools and wonderful yoga classes, are fantastic. The view over the rice fields and the soothing sounds of nature make this location incredibly special. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay—pure paradise! 🌿✨
