We like their breakfast because they provide fresh fruit juice, coffee and tea, both local and continental breakfast available, thus fit for very family members. We enjoyed the pool in our villa, and stay inside as long as we wish. The room is cozy, comfortable, AC is cool. Their bathroom is big, both shower and bath tub available. Their staffs are very friendly. we also used their free transport between the resort and Ubud (near Monkey forest)

Although I really appreciated the convenience to have the massage in my bedroom. But the quality is worse than the common massage services available in Ubud center. I shared my feedback to resort staff on my second day stay because I was feeling a little hurt in my left shoulder muscles , I think it's due to the massage time and intensity distributed on both sides of the my body were uneven. More than 50% of the time, the masseur simply used the palm of her hand to apply massage oil back and forth on the body without applying finger pressure to the acupuncture points and deep muscles. Although hotel staff took my feedback and gave me 20% discount after all. But I don't think I will try it again.

Our villa was absolutely stunning. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the outdoor shower was lovely and the private pool was so relaxing. There was a good outdoor undercover area with fan which provided shelter from rain when needed. There were also plenty of sunny & shady areas to lounge by the pool. The food was absolutely delicious! The location was perfect, in a quieter area of Ubud, but only a $5 Grab ride into the centre of town. The hotel also provided free shuttle bus service which we utilised. What makes this resort the best I've ever stayed at were the staff. Warm, friendly, efficient and so very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel welcome from day one. I highly recommend staying at Purana Boutique Resort if you're planning a trip to Ubud. We will definitely be back.

That my holiday had to end.

The staff are exceptional as they are very welcoming. The food was great and it was presented very well too. Privacy is great too. The place is great for couples on a honeymoon. The spa was really good too.

The pool isn’t very clean, it has a lot of centipede’s roaming around and too many leaves in the water. One of the rooms did not have a very functioning sink tap. There isn’t much to do in the resort because it’s very small, it’s basically just rooms with a pool and good for shopping in Ubud because it’s located in the city centre.

The resort gives a simple and humble vibe. Lots of personal touches. The inroom massage is good. Location is short distance from ubud center, making the mornings very peaceful. You can take a peaceful stroll in the road. Good spread of traditional and continental breakfast. However the restaurant menu can have more options.

When we stayed it was raining, which made the pool area fully drenched with rain water. And in the morning the only area where you could dine was fully exposed to the sun, which made it hot to have morning breakfast in. The dining area in the villa could be improved by installing some rain shield or blinds.

It’s clean and peaceful and they offer shuttle service every 2 hours going to ubud center. The area is very near monkey forest. Just ask the staff to drop you off to coco supermarket and it’s already walking distance 👍

The balcony door did not close completely and as a result bugs could come in the room from there There were many mosquitoes in the room when we arrived Limited choice in the breakfast menu The pizza from the hotels restaurant was not good (probably frozen) The armchairs in the room were dirty The pool was extremely small - didn’t even use it The location was not ideal, a bit far from the center and nothing much to do around

The rooms are perfect, the villa is perfect. We stayed in both, if you stay in the villa you won't want to leave even for a tour of the surroundings. There is a wonderful team, their staff is large, every employee you meet is even more kind and helpful... The location is very good, the restaurant is very good, but if you want a change, there is a very good "Circle K" market and cafe, restaurants within walking distance. If you want to go to the center of Ubud, there is also a free shuttle service. The price/benefit index is very good. In summary, 2-3 days will seem short, plan to stay longer.

My room was exceptional, so peaceful and private. I had such a relaxing stay. The room was clean and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The staff were so helpful and kind. Food was great, service was exceptional, not to mention the in room massage was to die for! The villas are in a perfect spot, only a short drive out of the hustle and bustle of the main town, so you have the feeling of peaceful isolation without being too far from it all. The regular free shuttle was so convenient. Even the quality of the restaurants and small convince store nearby made it hard to leave a 3km radius! Genuinely so sad to leave!

Personalised approach. We were well looked after by the Purana team. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Lot of perks included in the price, such as daily free fruit platter or large breakfast menu. Special requests (my wife is vegan) were accommodated well. Overall, great value for money. Best choice for a couple who wants to relax and be treated in a special way. We felt at home.

Free yoga sessions were great, but only happened twice a week at the resort. Would have wished a daily yoga session. Please note, the resort is located slightly outside of Ubut center which we actually appreciated given the center can feel busy. Bus shuttle provided free of charge.

Lovely stay, small but nice hotel. Super friendly staff, they were always there to assist you with suitcases, food, drinks,… . When we arrived from our ling flight they prepared sandwiches for us. It was so nice! When we had a daytrip and had to leave very early, they made breakfast packages for us, very nice and tasty! Breakfast was excellent. You could chose the day before which food you’d like to eat. The pool was nice (we had a room with pool acces). The pool is shared with 2 villa’s without a private swimming pool & the 4 rooms close to the pool. It was never too busy in the pool, always calm.

The shuttle service to Ubud didn’t go to the city center itself, but a little before the center. Probably due to the bad traffic. Something went wrong with the laundry and I got my clothes back unwashed and still with the stains.
