A peaceful location and beautiful rooms. Walk to the end of the lane, away from Ubud, and you are in proper Bali - rice fields, friendly locals - and enjoy the peace. A little restaurant is also on this road, which is highly recommended. The pool is fantastic and with chairs on your balcony to enjoy the tranquility. Nomang the owner is lovely. He can help organise a driver, your laundry and happy to chat. Breakfast omelettes are delicious. We loved it here away from the bustle of Ubud, yet walking distance to bars and restaurants. Highly recommended.

I loved the location, very nice and quiet area. Also the rooms are very clean and new, nice swimming pool.

The first night was misunderstanding about late check out and I was relocated to another hotel. So you should reassure several times about late check in (mine was 2am) and if it’s available. Also the towels would be nice to clean at least every second day.

We had originally booked to stay in Tropical Garden 2 but in arrival we’re informed that we were staying in Tropical Garden in the centre of Ubud. While we weren’t informed prior to arrival and were a little surprised we didn’t care to much once we were settled and realised it was very central

We really liked our stay here ! The room was really comfortable and pretty. Ideally located, not far from the center and with beautiful nature surrounding it. The family who runs the guesthouse is also really nice. Very good value for the price, definitely recommended!

The only thing we didn't like is that the wifi was very bad and this was important for us, we couldn't use it all unfortunately during our stay. (our room was upstairs and the signal too weak to work properly).

We got the first-floor rooms. - For the price paid, you could enjoy all these facilities: public pool, hairdryer, spacious bathroom, big-enough-for-3 comfy bed, dressing table, working fine, TV, tall fridge (not the mini ones), and others! - Pak Eka, the owner, was friendly and helpful. Terima kasih ya, Pak!

- You have to bring your own bath amenities as it's not provided - The small pillows have an old smell so we ended up not using them - The cleanliness of the outside area could be better (in front of the windows and the veranda), as we found insects in the room after opening the windows - It would be nice to have daily housekeeping with a few additional prices

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The location was good and the hotel is at the property of the family.

We liked everything.
