We love the staff they were super friendly and welcoming and nothing was to much hassle from free shuttle to helping us with our bags. Wayan Yudí was especially lovely he made us some great cocktails around the pool and was very pleasant to talk to. The accommodation was very nice as well we had a suite which was massive and great for us with our child. Was very nice and clean also gave us a welcoming drink, fruit basket and snacks which just made it even better. Plus buffet breakfast and afternoon tea each day was just perfect. Overall we loved our stay here very happy will stay again!

Was a little way out of Ubud you could walk 15 mins to start of Ubud for a restaurant but if you want shopping would take a good 30-45 min walk. So yes was very peaceful as was out a bit from main town but also you will need to drive or walk into Ubud

The hotel is located in a beautiful garden near the rice fields. The hotel provides a free transfer to the city center. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast very tasty. We had 2 rooms in the hotel. The children's room was upstairs overlooking the rice fields. It was beautiful, big, clean and there was no problem. Our room was on the ground floor with a view of the pool. The room was really beautiful, but there was a smell during the entire stay - dampness and mustiness. Otherwise, there is nothing to complain about the room. I definitely do not recommend this ground floor room. But the room upstairs was perfect.

Got an upgrade to deluxe room with view of rice fields. Room is very spacious, well-planned and clean, with a big balcony facing the rice fields. The view is nice. The pool is quite big and very relaxing. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Room charge includes breakfast that is amazingly good. Choose from set menus. Dishes are well-presented and tastety. The resort is quite a distance to the Ubud centre, and they provides free shuttle running between the resort and Ubud centre. That is a plus. Overall, highly recommended.

The location is perfect, just outside the busy center of Ubud, but close enough to be there quickly bij scooter (download grab app). They also provide shuttle service to several points in the center. Rooms are perfect and clean, food is good, staff is friendly, pool is lovely (Ricefield view). They also helped booking the ferry to Lombok.

I have been staying at Green Field Hotel and Green Field Resort Hotel in Ubud for the past 10 years, and it never disappoints. The staff are always incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit feel like coming home. One of the standout features for me is the breakfast. I absolutely love that it’s a buffet where you can serve yourself, giving you plenty of choices. There’s also a cooking station where the chef prepares eggs and omelettes fresh to order, which adds a nice personal touch. The bread, croissants, and especially the homemade chocolate croissants are simply divine, far better than what I have experienced in many other hotels where breakfast is a la carte, which I don’t prefer. The location is stunning, offering beautiful views of the rice fields that add to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the resort. The location of Green Field Resort is another major advantage, since it is very close to the center of Ubud, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the town’s shops, restaurants, markets, and cultural attractions, while still being tucked away in a peaceful setting surrounded by beautiful rice fields. Overall, everything about Green Field Resort is excellent, and that’s why I keep coming back year after year. Highly recommended!

Also we had the best massage at the spa of the many we had we both agreed this was the best. The food was delicious I really enjoyed the Soto Ayam infact I keep thinking about how yummy it was and crave more! the pool with swim up bar is beautiful overlooking the rice paddy's you would thing you were far away from civilization but you are infact incredibly close! great location not far from the action and they also provide a free shuttle to Sacred monkey forest and Ubud art market and friendly shuttle driver! Definitely reccomend and will 100% be back here and have already reccomend it to friends.

Good location, relatively close (30 min walk) to Ubud center, but still in a quiet area. The staff was really nice and extra helpful, the restaurant good and reasonably priced. There is also a free shuttle to Ubud center. Good value for money. Very tranquil and the view to the rice terrace is wonderful.

The furniture was a bit dated and there was a faint smell in the room, even if cleaning service was great, but I guess the high humidity could explain it. Also, the sink in the room, and not in the bathroom, was quite strange and added to the overall humidity of the room.

Beautiful grounds. Surrounded by vibrant green rice paddies. The pool is nice and so is the reception and restaurant area. The employees are really helpful and friendly. The location is approx a 15 minute walk to Yoga Barn and 25 minute into the centre of Ubud. Once you get off the main road, you can walk down a couple side laneways to get to the resort, during the day it is nice and there are lots of local houses and kids playing, including the famous Ketut healer family residence from 'Eat, Pray, Love'. Grab bikes and cars easily pick you up and drop you off at the resort. I have been back to this resort multiple times.

Breakfast is buffet (unless there are not enough guests, then you order from a menu). The buffet is good but the Indonesian food choices change day to day and sometimes can be hit or miss. It is however lovely eating breakfast, looking out onto the price paddies.

Extended Review in English: The hotel is conveniently located close to the center, within walking distance of Monkey Forest. The property offers a free shuttle service to two central spots in Ubud, which made getting around easy. Our stay included breakfast and afternoon tea, both quite tasty; while breakfast wasn’t very varied. The grounds of the hotel are just as beautiful as shown in the photos, with well-kept landscaping and a peaceful atmosphere—no nearby construction or noise to disturb our stay. The staff was cheerful and very friendly, always ready to assist, even helping with our luggage. There’s also a convenient laundry service available.

However, there were a couple of minor issues. The pool closed a bit too early, around 7 PM, which limited evening swims. Additionally, the water in the cooler sometimes had a musty smell, though we received glass water bottles daily, which were perfectly fine.

where do I start? Breakfast : Very good variety of food . The Balinese Noodles was my firm favourite. it was succulent and spicy. The coffee was super. Pool: Although I did not have a dip in the pool, my husband and friends enjoyed a swim and the pool was very clean. The lay out of the pool was excellent too. Shuttle: This was your best facility. I availed the shuttle service on 2 days and the shuttle driver was very friendly and accommodating. We watched the Legong dance at the Ubud Palace and came back to the hotel past 9 pm and felt very safe. The driver was punctual too. The staff- Aayu, Aari, and the rest (forget their names...)were all very pleasant and their hospitality exceeded our expectations. we will come again and definitely will recommend this place to our friends.Thank you Green fields Resort!

A railing for the stairs/steps at the lobby would be beneficial to the guests who has mobility issues. Or a wooden bridge from the lobby area to the rooms in the outskirts will be good too. it will enhance the beauty of the surrounding too. just my idea.
