I love the Villa, the staff, and the owner herself. They all treated us like family. The food was delicious. They allow you to have breakfast at your convenience. Owner Carol and staff are very friendly and helpful. Free shuttle to centre of Ubud is a great service. Quiet location with lots of green. Great food at reasonable prices at the “China Moon” restaurant on the premises. Overall a wonderful stay at “De Ubud Villas and Spa”

Staff was very accommodating. Beds were very comfortable.

As expected due to the nature of the facility being outdoors, ants were present. The staff did a good job with night treatments.

The room was amazing. The location was really great with access to the main Ubud market a 10 mins ride on a scooter. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was more than happy to help with all our requests. It is definitely a value for money place if you appreciate a calm private villa and since it has limited places every guest gets proper attention.

The spa is very expensive if you want Spa treatment I would recommend checking out spas near Monkey Forest where the prices are reasonable and you get the same level of service.

De Ubud was amazing. Everything you want and need. The staff were polite and friendly. The food was delicious (especially the complete Indonesian meal). We particularly enjoyed the Indonesian breakfasts, but we always had a choice. The grounds are peaceful and calming. Our villa was gorgeous with many extras. I would highly recommend. Two things to note: you need to take their free shuttle to get into town centre. It isn’t really walkable. Secondly, I booked this location because of the proximity to the river, which we couldn’t see from our place anyway. But it was very close and subsequently the mosquitos for a while in the evening were a bit insane.

The staff were excellent. When you arrive you are immediately added to a WhatsApp group, which you use to communicate with the staff (rather than a phone number). The team were so quick to respond, nothing was too much work and they were always great at suggestions restaurants or things to do. The food at their restaurant “China Moon” was so so good too. Genuinely felt like I was leaving a family when we went home.

I did get bitten a fair amount by mosquitoes but that is to be expected when staying in the jungle. Otherwise, it was such a great place to stay and I will be back in the future.

It was peaceful and beautiful. Great service too. The room had a wow factor!

A little worn in areas.

I loved our stay! Very friendly and attentive staff. They’re like a family! The villa is Instagramable. The breakfast option to have anytime is amazing, specially that we were jet-lagged. Also the shuttle is available upon request. Everything about our stay was magical! We felt like we were so welcomed and accommodated. Perfect Stay!

Despite that wildlife was part of the experience such as frogs, lizards and bats (just like everywhere in Bali), the staff was very responsive and took care of it.

Everything was amazing, especially our host Carol who made us feel like we are part of her family! She gave us a personalised experience and always exceeded our expectations with her efforts and recommendations to make our stay a perfect one! We highly recommend her place for anyone who wants to have a private and personalised stay, and we will definitely love to come back and stay with her again!

We stayed in the 3 bedroom spa villa. It was beautiful and comfortable. The staff were exceptional and nothing was a big deal. China moon restaurant was wonderful. They tailored their food for the kids which was great. The free shuttle was a fantastic service which we used very often. It’s a peaceful villa 10 minutes from the hustle bustle of ubud.
