Tucked away in the lush jungles of Ubud, the Kalyana Ubud Resort is a sanctuary that exceeds all expectations of a luxurious retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a serene ambiance that instantly melted away the stresses of everyday life. The resort's architecture blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings, offering a harmonious blend of traditional Balinese design and modern comforts. Our villa, nestled amidst verdant gardens and overlooking the Ayung River, provided a private oasis of tranquility. The attention to detail in every aspect of the villa's design, from the Balinese furnishings to the open-air bathroom, reflected a commitment to both luxury and authenticity. Dining at Kalyana Ubud was a culinary journey through the flavors of Bali. Each meal at the resort's restaurant, with its panoramic views of the jungle and river below, was a feast for the senses. The dishes, crafted from locally sourced ingredients, showcased the richness of Balinese cuisine while offering a contemporary twist that delighted our palates. The resort's amenities were equally impressive. The infinity pool, perched on the edge of the jungle, offered a refreshing respite with stunning vistas that stretched to the horizon. The spa, set amidst bamboo groves and offering traditional Balinese treatments, provided a holistic experience that rejuvenated both body and soul. What truly set Kalyana Ubud apart was its exceptional service. Every member of the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and hospitality, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was flawless. Whether arranging personalized excursions to Ubud's cultural sites or attending to our needs with thoughtful gestures, the staff's dedication to guest satisfaction was evident throughout our stay. In conclusion, Kalyana Ubud Resort is more than a place to stay—it is an experience that captures the essence of Bali's natural beauty and cultural richness.

Beautiful gardens, away from the hustle but close enough at the same time. The villa with private pool was amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Great day spa facilities.

A very minor detail, the lighting in the bathroom, around the mirror could be improved.

As soon as we arrived we felt extremely welcomed, we made it to the hotel at 3am and the hotel staff was there to wait for us. The process of check in was smooth and quick. The room was WOW, although we wished we went for the rice field once (so if you have to choose between the 2, definitely upgrade to the rice field one). The room has everything you need and it is extremely comfortable. We did half board (dinner included) for all 2 of us, we stayed with our 2 years old. Breakfast is buffet and it was EXCELLENT, they prepare omlette, pancake etc on the spot and there is a big variety of food to choose from. The hotel does not have shuttle for Bali centre, but they have transfers that take you there as well as for the airport. The staff was also incredibly kind and helpful all the time! Our stay was amazing, we wished we stayed longer.

We did half board having dinner included in the price. For that there is a separate menu where you can choose 1 starter , 1 main and 1 dessert. We just felt that that menu was a little bit underwhelming. I feel like probably that menu needs to be reviewed or just let the customer choose from the main one. The staff was extremely helpful and they let us choose from the main menu instead of the set menu.

Very nice hotel, although we got it under price because we went i January. Very good location and strong internet. Common pool was nice but open only until 8pm. Staff is exceptional.

Dont book anything through hotel, they overcharge a lot(bike rental, clothes washing, food). Breakfast was 5/10,it will get you filled but nothing special. Its a bit pricey, we got it 60% of which was fine, but for full price not worth it.

Absolutely outstanding – far beyond expectations! 🌺✨ We stayed at the Kalyana Ubud Resort and were truly overwhelmed by the hospitality and beauty of this place. Due to some technical issues with Booking.com – for which the hotel was absolutely not responsible – we were offered a free upgrade as a gesture of kindness. This is far from self-evident, and we were genuinely touched and grateful. The resort itself is a dream come true – peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by breathtaking nature. It could not have been better. The staff are extraordinarily warm-hearted, always greeting us with a smile, and they were quick to assist with any request or question. Their service is on a level you rarely experience. The massages here are an absolute must – without doubt the best we have ever had. Pure relaxation from start to finish. All in all, we are certain that on our next visit to Ubud, we will stay at the Kalyana Ubud Resort again – without hesitation. If we could give 20 points instead of 10, we definitely would! 🌿💛

- The SPA: its simply amazing!! The massages are divine. You have to try them. Probably the best in my life. - The hospitality: the staff is incredibly kind, always eager to help and make your stay unique. - Room: bed is very comfortable, the view over the garden is stunning. Wifi available everywhere. - The restaurant is also very practical so you don t have to go out at night. Special mention for the banana pancakes in the morning.

- The noise: unfortunately I had very noisy neighbors and the walls/ceilings are very thin so I didn t enjoy very good nights. But thats not the resort s fault. Things get busy early in the morning so its not very quiet esp if you are looking for rest after your flight. - Location: the resort is located in a quiet area, not directly in Ubud s center which is great to have some quiet time but it also means that you need a car to go anywhere. You will need at least 30 min to go to Ubud. It took me 2 h30 to go to the rice terraces because of traffic jam so you may want to plan accordingly.

I loved everything about the resort. It felt like i am living in a dream place of mine. The staff, the people around me in the lobby and everyone are very very kind and their gesture towards customer is outstanding. I am 23 but the staff there respected me and they are very swift when asked any doubts or helping to order anything in the restaurant. I am very happy and beyond to spend time at The Kalyana Ubud and will definitely visit the resort again with my friends and family as i believe this is the best place in whole ubud.

The breakfast options were great and the staff were really attentive. The room was clean and big. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and had a big standalone bath. The pool was relaxing and well maintained, we spent several hours here. The staff were kind enough to book us in for last minute massages at the spa which were amazing. The location was also good, we mostly travelled around by taxi but there were a few shops, cafe's and restaurants within walking distance and many scooters if you wanted.

N/A - I had a lovely experience at Kalyana.

The resort is clean and beautiful, and our One-Bedroom Wooden Pool Villa with a Rice Field View was delightful, even though we visited after the rice harvest. The villas with rice field views are somewhat distant and separated from the main area of the resort, which requires a bit of walking, but this was not a significant inconvenience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Each staff member greeted us warmly and made us feel genuinely welcome, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was enjoyable. The villa was clean and comfortable, offering a serene environment. The only minor suggestion would be to have a slightly larger table on the villa terrace to comfortably enjoy meals outside.

The only area that could use improvement is the breakfast, which was just satisfactory but not exceptional. The coffee was basic, Balinese/Americano style and espresso was available only at an extra charge. The restaurant and room service options were limited and basic.

We visited the Kalyana Ubud Resort for 5 nights and had a lovely time! The staff were very friendly, from pick up at the airport from Nova to the girls at breakfast and dinner. The reception staff were always so helpful and would book us a taxi (our drivers Putu and Komang were great). The hotel is not in the centre of Ubud (which we liked) and we were able to get a taxi to the city centre when needed. Our room (201) was beautiful, with a view of the rice field at Sacred Rice and had a large bathroom. We enjoyed the made-to-order banana pancakes in the morning and thought there was a good selection of dishes for dinner (especially as we are pescatarians). The resort had a nice spa and we had amazing Balinese massages (even if you do not get a treatment, walk to the spa as it overlooks some rice fields). We would recommend this hotel and would love to still be there now!

We liked everything about this hotel and would highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed.
