I like the seclusion and the fact that it was not crowded. ALL the staff were exceptional - so polite and unobtrusive. I would come back if I need to recharge and just focus on mental and health well-being. We told them it was my birthday and our wedding anniversary and they decorated the room so pretty!

Cable TV (BBC/CNN/Al Jazeera) was missing from the television. Please have cable TV and I will definitely come back. Being a small resort this also means limited dining options as compared to a larger resort. However this is just a minor inconvenience.

The place is sparkling clean, the staff is beyond perfect. Very nice pool, they have a cozy garden and a huge common house that is living room with piano and speakers. They have acvarium with fishes, even turtles.The room was equipted with everything, the size of the bed was 280 cm x 200 cm, so like 2 beds in one, huge bed. Not so close from the shops, but the inside is like a heaven.

Nothing not to like, just to know that is a smoke free area, and not serving hard drinks like cognac whiskey, so if you want to enjoy a cigar next to the pool with a glass of cognac this is not the place for you.

We stayed in the Padi villa for 3 nights with our 2 little kids and it was amazing : spacious, modern, spotless clean with amazing beds. The breakfast food was delicious with plenty of choices! Loved the eggs Benedict and the fresh tangerine juice. The staff was very accommodating, kind and genuinely caring. The kids enjoyed running around the gardens, playing in the pool and feeding the fish.

The property has lots of greenery around which is very well maintained. Not a minus, but as a family with kids would be great if the Villa could add a small slide/playground for kids.

We really enjoyed staying there and already recommended the place for many of our friends.. not gonna lie this is the best place we stayed in so far .. all the stuff are very friendly and wants to help the guests every time.. they also provide a scheduled transportation to the supermarket and come back for free.. we also enjoyed the breakfast specially the pancakes were very yummy and so fluffy.. even the swimming pool is very clean and the view is stunning.. definitely will come back again

My recent stay at The Valerian Villa Ubud was a memorable experience. The highlight of the villa was undoubtedly the breathtaking pool, overlooking the mesmerizing rice fields - a truly enchanting sight, especially during sunset. The staff's hospitality was exceptional, and their warm and accommodating nature added to the overall charm of the place. Taking a leisurely walk through the nearby rice fields was a delightful way to connect with nature. The villa's facilities were top-notch, and the rooms were impressively clean and well-maintained.

However, I did find the breakfast options a bit limited and believe that offering a more diverse menu would enhance the overall dining experience. Additionally, the non-adjustable shower head was a minor inconvenience that could be improved for guests' comfort.

Lovely property, slightly away from main centre of Ubud. Rooms were spacious, clean and well furnished. Very nice pool area overlooking paddy fields. Staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Whole property was spotless. Breakfast and dinner were tasty and we also had fun feeding the turtles and koi fish. Finally we had an excellent massage that was arranged at short notice. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Only minor negative I can think of was our food at dinner took quite a while to be served.

Great hotel, very nice infinity pool with lovely sunset from there, extremely clean everywhere. Breakfast was very good, staff was extremely polite and helpful. The hotel offers good snacks/food (they should advertise it more).

Bathroom was designed a bit poorly (no rain shower, showering made the whole space wet, …). The Villa is not super close to Ubud center but I didn’t really mind, Grab scooters get you there in 15 minutes.

We booked the padi room: 4-pax suite with one toilet. This is suitable for family with “older kids but not so independent yet” hence we were ok with the room having just one toilet. The room was designed to be really functional, with ample space for our luggages. Bed was very comfortable and toilet amenities were great. We thoroughly enjoyed walking at the padi field behind the hotel, with lots of nice photo scenes. The swing was also very enjoyable. My kids enjoyed the daily koi feeding sessions too. Breakfast portion was generous and I also like the healthier options available. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The modern deco of the hotel, with some Balinese touch, makes us feel really comfortable.

Water pressure for the shower was too low, making shower a little slower than ideal. Though location is supposed to be 15 min drive from ubud center, it can take much longer depending on traffic conditions.

The experience in the Villa was exceptionally good. The Villa locates outskirts of the downtown of Ubud, so we enjoyed the calm and local scenery of the place. We got a 3hours massage called Honeymoon Plan, which was the best massage ever in my life. I relished a lot a mix of sounds of the nature of the local rice terrace and the professional treatment provided by a skillful masseuse; it was a celestial experience. Despite the villa being located a bit far from Ubud downtown, Nenga, the driver, took us downtown upon request. So we did not experience the difficulty of the access. All staffs in the villa are amicable and professional.

We did not have a bad experience during our stay in the Villa.
