I had an absolutely excellent stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the host was incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. They were very helpful with any questions I had and offered great recommendations for local spots, which really enhanced my trip. Communication was smooth and prompt throughout the stay, which made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. The place itself was spotless, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. It had everything I needed and more. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed stay. I’ll definitely be back!

everything was as promised. Villa is super clean and tidy, all the staff are happy and helpful and always keen to help you have free shuttle to downtown Ubud 3 times daily you get also free shuttle to a close big supermarket for daily needs area is very safe but not much around, you and the nature only. super relaxing. we also loved the free perks, we got free dinner and free half an hour massage with the booking which was amazing. the massage was super relaxing. Also huge huge shoutout to DIAN, our lovely host and friend, she took extremely good care of us throughout the whole visit and was always available for any needs we have, we had a small issue in our villa and straight away was offered to swap the villa is that's satisfactory to us and also goodwill from their end. she is really expert in customer service and very very helpful. we loved our stay in Upud so much and would totally recommend Griya Shanti

it would've been amazing if there was a way to heat the pool water as it was cold most of the time so we couldn't really use it as much as we wanted. 2nd is not really related to the property, but if you are staying in Ubud in griya shanti or similar property be prepared that as you will be surrounded by amazing nature that also comes with quite some insects and small flies around you.

We stayed at Vila Jepun in Griyashanti Villas and absolutely loved every moment. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. As the name Griyashanti suggests—the comfort of home—that’s exactly what we experienced here. The villa was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature—perfect for a relaxing escape. Every morning felt magical waking up in such a serene environment. The service was exceptional, with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, welcoming, and truly Balinese experience. We’d love to come back again!

Our stay at this villa in Ubud was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm Balinese hospitality and breathtaking views of the lush jungle. The villa was immaculately clean. The private infinity pool overlooking the river was a highlight, making every sunrise and sunset feel like a dream. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing delicious breakfasts, arranging transport, and even organizing a private massages nearly every day The location was perfect—peaceful and secluded, yet just a short drive from Ubud’s vibrant center. Whether we were relaxing by the pool, exploring nearby waterfalls, or enjoying the incredible local cuisine, every moment felt special. If you’re looking for a luxurious, tranquil escape in Ubud, this villa is an absolute must. We can’t wait to return! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bali!

Loved staying here and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering it. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They spend a lot of time ensuring the upkeep of the place and helping out wherever they could. We also enjoyed the relaxing massages that could be booked for the day from therapists that attended the villa. The location was also so peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by rice paddies and trees. The ride into the centre of Ubud was not too difficult and Grab taxis were easily available around.

The breakfasts (mie goreng and nasi goreng) at times were a bit on the salty side and at times we had to pre-order the night before, which meant that we were able to be less flexible with our plans. I am sure that this could be discussed with the staff though if needed.

On arrival we were greeted by very friendly and attentive staff who informed us of the facilities and activities available. We managed to organise a floating breakfast for the following morning which was absolutely stunning. The villa itself was perfect. Very spacious, spread out over two levels with a generous, very inviting pool overlooking an amazing jungle view. The room was well appointed with all of the amenities you could want. The location was great, set in a quiet secluded area but close enough to the hustle and bustle of Ubud Central. Would highly recommend a stay here at Griya Shanti Villas.

It was just an amazing stay. We loved our villa and it's decor. The garden surrounding the pool gave us a lot of privacy. The staff was lovely and made our stay as comfortable as possible. We received free dinner and a couple massage. They even offered a 15 minute free photo shoot. The reception booked for us a scooter, that was delivered to the hotel within one hour. We spent one worry free week there and would love to come back.

An amazing stay in heart of Bali. The villa is perfect for family vacation. It has all the amenities, a kitchen with fridge, stove and cutleries. Swimming pool is cleaned and maintained everyday. The staff of Griya Shanti Villa is exceptional, we were taken care of and made feel at home by Sinthia, Wina and Laksmi, we really appreciate their hospitality. They took care of all our requests from dinner, spa, housekeeping and arranging car and driver for us to visit around Bali. The restaurant serves excellent breakfast and food. They even made a cake for our family member's birthday. The location is close to centre of Ubud and the hotel provides free shuttle services few times a day to Ubud centre. I highly recommend!

First of all, a huge thank you to the staff. No request was too much trouble. They always always had a smile on and were so accomodating. I’ve travelled the world extensively and have rarely come across front of house and drivers so friendly yet professional who will bent backwards and forwards to truly make sure you’re happy and having a great holiday. I felt welcomed and looked after like if I was part of the family, and that really was the highlight of my stay at Griya Shanti. Even though I never got to meet the owner, he helped me with many of my requests. Special mentions to Putu and to Gusman as well as the front of house that was there most mornings (sorry I have forgotten your name), they were all incredible! The free shuttle 3 times per day to Ubud was appreciated and for a small cost, the driver could drop/pick up outside the set times. And the private pool was a selling point for me. It was my 3rd time in Bali, there’ll be more visits and I will definitely consider Griya Shanti again! Greetings from the UK!

Yes my villa was a bit outdated and the furniture could do with being updated, but it didn’t prevent me from enjoying my stay. The towels could also be updated as they were mostly stained or torn. One thing I would say though might be to improve the breakfast and have more options like smoothie bowls or other healthy options and non dairy milk as an option too. None of this was a big issue they are just suggestions as I had a great experience at Griya Shanti.

Very kind and helpful people. The view from the Cafe. The pool. The rooms. The villa is as you see on the booking.com website. Fairly nicely located though not too closed to Ubud town. Very well planned so privacy is good. Lot of attention paid to elevation and visual barriers between villas.

May become a little disturbing if people in the adjacent villas are in party mode. We got that briefly only.
