- location is 20 mins from the main Ubud centre. You have to order a taxi each time you leave the hotel, but this only costs about £1.50-£2 a journey, so it’s not an issue. The local taxi drivers seem to have some sort of agreement with the Uber/Grab/Online taxi providers to stay away from the resort as there is price competition between them.

SereS was an amazing place to stay in Ubud located very close to the center. Only 10 mins ride to center. The hotel has a very good breakfast buffet that has options for everyone. Room service was also nice and efficient. The staff are very friendly and ready to help at all times. They have an efficient communication between each other. So everything you ask for gets done. Our room was one of lower villas, very clean and spacious. The hotels provided us with 4 bottles of water everyday. Also extra 2 bottles were provided everyday for brushing our teeth. They provided us with our driver and companion Sire whom we are grateful to. He is an amazing local who took us around Bali and showed us nearly everything we needed to see. We will definitely return. Thank you for your hospitality.

Beautiful property with walking trails along a river. It appeared that all the rooms had a beautiful view (with balcony) overlooking 1 of 2 infinity pools and the rice fields. Great sunrises to be seen from your balcony if you are up early enough. The rooms were a nice size with minibar and 2 bottles of water provided daily. I ate breakfast buffet a couple of times and ordered room service many times. The food was always excellent and all of the staff in restaurant and those who brought the room service were so pleasant and personable. The prices (even room service) were very reasonable. I visited the spa twice. First time, I only had a 1 hr massage and it was 1 of the best massages ever for only appx $30 USD! That was with a service charge already included. I tipped her a little more because it was so wonderful. I went again 2 days later and got a 3 hr package (1 hr massage, 1 hr facial and 50 min body scrub) and it was less than $100 USD! SO relaxing and peaceful. Staff in the spa (and everywhere else at the Seres) were always so welcoming going above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. The location of the property is very close to Ubud city center and so many of the landmarks/attractions/shopping in the Ubud area. A shuttle is available for appx $5 USD from the Seres to Ubud Palace (city center). But taxis are available as well for anywhere you need to go. Transportation is no problem and was always available relatively quick from the Seres.

There is a small natural spring pool on the walking trail near the river. It didn't appear to have been cleaned in a couple when I went to get in so I decided not to use it. But that's really the only thing that I can say was ever "not clean". And it rains here frequently so it is possible it had been cleaned daily and I just went after a hard rain.

Lovely, peaceful setting. Away from the hubbub of Ubud. Super friendly and helpful staff. Delightful pools (main and individual at villa). Large, well appointed and cared for villa rooms. Regular rooms very nice too.

Food was quite good, but not level that I would have expected of a 5-star property. Plenty of effort and nicely presented, but lacking pizzaz. Breakfast was nice and a varied spread. Nothing really around the property other than local homes. Not a bad thing in all as the scenery from the hotel was amazing, but no where interesting to really walk around outside the property grounds.

The view is extremely beautiful, food was delicious, staff is beyond friendly and helpful.you communicate with the hotel staff through whatsapp which is more convenient than in-room phone since you can do that even if you are far from your room. The beach is amazing to swim in and almost private. the hotel provides alot of services like renting scooters or providing a car with a driver. Tours and activities available such as fishing trips, surfing lessons and excursion tours.

understand that the hotel is very far from everything, you should book here if you are looking for a couple days of relaxation from the city traffic. other than that nothing is bad about this hotel

I do like everything there. The staff was one of the most amazing things that happened to me and my wife in life. They were extremely cheerful, helpful, and professional. The room was awesome and facilities as well. The pool was good enough, not that super for swimming but good for chill and view. The breakfast varieties were exceptional. The restaurant and the staff there were very welcoming and you can see in their eyes all the love. Honestly, I have travelled a lot around the world, but I have never seen such beautiful people as these people in my life. There is a receptionist called "Mila". You will love everything happening in such a hotel once you meet this beautiful person, and her soul is exceptional. The massage there is exceptional and professional masseur their. I tried it, and it was boom, but it's expensive a little.

Honestly, nothing. I do love this hotel. The only thing that was very silly and made me geek crazy is that the balcony is the inky available place for smoking, and when I go to the balcony, its extremely humid outside and very sweating with a lot of insects wich is not comfortable.

We stayed in this hotel as a couple and it was very good. The staff were fantastic. Food was ok, not bad, not excelent, breakfast ok. They have their own taxi drivers so you can use them to travel around.

There are daily activities, but nobody in hotel knows about it. One day it was bicycle ride, we wanted to go, but nobody knew anything about it. Lots of small geckos in villa with pool. In room also. They are small, but when you hear them it’s like a dinosaur in the room.

For a family of 3 , 2 adults and 1 kid which is 2 yrs old it was a good value for money for 5 days and 4 nights. We got everything we need from the beautiful view out of the crowded busy road, nice temperature of water in the pool, kids club for our kid and amazing different varieties of buffet food, must try their ala carte menu we did had a dinner from the hotel and the food was amazing ( it will always depend on the people about the food preference but we did enjoy everything ) most especially the staff are very accommodated, friendly and always smiling. We just booked a deluxe room and when we arrived we got a free upgrade of the room which makes our stay way more beyond expectation.

We are not a fuzzy traveler so we didnt really bother that hearing the next door footstep, the room got everything you needed and I think because they were trying to give as much service and the customer be satisfied they put a lot of things in the room which is great but I just observed that it makes the room just a bit crowded especially with a 2 yrs old loves running and wondering around but if with couple for me it will be perfect.

Seres saved our trip to Ubud as we had to change hotel last minute and we were lucky to come across this hotel. The hotel had great facilities and the infinity pool has an amazing vue on the valley and the rice fields. The staff were truly helpful and amazing. They took very good care of us especially that my husband got very sick and he couldn’t leave the room so they sent breakfast and hot drinks and checked up on him regularly. They also helped us by calling a doctor. I was happily surprised since they didn’t charge us for any of this (just paid for the doctor consultation ofc). The breakfast was really good and varied and the room was spotless clean and well isolated from insects. The only downside was the location as it is away from Ubud center but it also procures a different sense of serenity. Anyway, we could easily go to the city by taxi called by the reception or via the different apps.
