I was just here few weeks ago during my birthday, and decided to return to The Westin Ubud again. I had the best sleep ever the last time I was here, and left feeling well rested. Wrapping up the year 2023 with another visit to The Westin Ubud is the best plan i’ve ever made! Thanks to their really amazing team, Tude, Winny, Pande, Yana, Komang, Radit, Nesa, Duty Managers - Era and Arya, housekeeping team, express service team, front desk team, and everyone else who made my stay here the most memorable. Not to mention, I also had a very pleasant time and experience at the Heavenly Spa. This is definitely my go to hotel in Ubud! Yes there are other luxury hotels in this area, but The Westin concept and facilities is what suits my preference and taste best. Modern rooms and facilities mixed with Balinese tradition, i just love it here! This won’t be the last time i’m here, i’ll be coming back here soon for sure. We spent a week at the Westin and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious, and the bathrooms were equally impressive, complete with his and her sinks, which is always a nice touch. The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from Ubud town, but taxis are readily available at reasonable rates. The restaurants were lovely and accommodating whenever possible. We traveled with our elderly parents, and the hotel chef was exceptionally accommodating, preparing vegetarian Indian meals for us. Breakfast offered a fantastic selection of international cuisine, including Indian favorites like Dosa, Chana Bhatura, and Aloo Paratha—we definitely felt spoiled. The spa services were fantastic, and we also enjoyed daily yoga and stretching sessions, which can be booked in advance. We made the most of our stay, enjoying both the hotel amenities and exploring Ubud, local shops, restaurants, and the vibrant culture. The location offers stunning jungle views, allowing you to fully unwind and connect with the surrounding nature. It’s the ideal setting for relaxation and reflection. Our room was not only spacious and comfortable, but also stocked with complimentary water and coffee, along with a thoughtful selection of fresh fruit and handwritten notes, which added a lovely personal touch to the experience. The spa and massages were amazing — highly professional, relaxing, and set in a tranquil environment. It’s a must-do during your stay. The resort also offers an incredible range of activities, from yoga to cultural experiences, making it easy to engage with both wellness and the local culture. In short, The Westin Ubud is a sanctuary in the heart of Bali — perfect for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and indulge in the best of what Ubud has to offer.

Everything was just perfect from check-in to check-out. The location was beautiful, and the view from our balcony was simply stunning. The welcoming and cooperative staff made all the difference. The level of service we received was outstanding, and we truly appreciated the personal attention provided by Mr. Agus and the Restaurant Manager. It was evident that the team is dedicated to ensuring guests feel comfortable and valued. The cleanliness throughout the property was also impressive. We felt very special , during our entire visit due to the unparalleled attention from the staff. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We look forward to returning in the future!

We had booked our stay with Dinner and there was a bit of confusion, however it was addressed by Hotel professionally.

Westin Hotel Resorts and Spa Ubud is a great hotel in a beautiful setting. However, because of its remote location and horrendous traffic in the area, it takes ages to get about or from the airport as well to and from attractions in the area. That said, it is a wonderful place to stay. The staff were warm and friendly and very welcoming. Housekeeping was great, and if you ask for anything, your request is promptly dealt with. My room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The balcony, overlooking rich vegetation, lets the sunshine into the room every morning. I had two Balinese massages in the Heavenly Spa and was effiently serviced by both Devi and Amelia. I recommend this hotel as a comfortable and happy place to stay

The remote location and the heavy traffic meant that you would always need transportation to get about. Although the hotel provides a shuttle service, I was caught with a whopping bill of 30 dollars, including tips, to the patient driver who drove me back in heavy traffic from the Monkey Forest. The shuttle was on its last trip for the day, and i was not aware until I got to the Monkey Forest that the driver would not be taking us back. I would not have gone had I known in advance. The hotel informed me on my return, too late, that I could have booked another taxi through them. This was a frustrating experience added to the distress of the two hours drive from the airport, also caused by heavy traffic.

The staff was really wonderful and attentive and always wanted to make sure everything was good. We had an issue with the bedroom and this was looked after and another room was provided with a complimentary 60 mns massage for 2. So yes the management and the staff went to the greatest extent to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was really nice and the German Chef was also very nice and took time to speak to every guest to ensure they were enjoying the food

The location is really far from the center and the traffic these days in Bali is horrendous. Lack of lounges and areas you would expect in this category, but ok

We had an amazing stay in the Westin Ubud. The housekeeping and both restaurants team were absolutely incredible. The kitchen used only top ingredients and each dish was made with so much love. The service was impeccable. The kids club had a great activities (no PlayStation) and the staff members engaged with our son beautifully. A big shout out to Chef Taufik for creating the best vibe for breakfast and ensuring the floor was was run in the best possible way. Ashwini, thank you. Junita, I can’t believe that you only worked there for 6 months, absolutely brilliant. Arsa, we loved our bike tour with you. Era, we appreciate you going the extra mile to accommodate our booking. Everything is really impressive! The structure of the Resort good and The attention to details can be seen everywhere. Since The momment you arrive, The westin team is worried with giving you a wonderful experience The room is spacious and clean, the bed is confortable and big. The restroom/bathroom design is impecable. The breakfast is something to be praised, everything is delicious, with a Wide variety of food, fruits and cuisines. Once again I Need to compliment the attention and care of The westin team as a whole, because they provide one of The best experiences, always being attentive and kind. One other big point is the spa service, providing a one of a kind service, which can only be described as exceptional and one of a kind!
