The view is stunning! Loved everything about the view it's the main highlight of the villa. Didn't use the pool so can't really comment on that.

The location is in the middle of a building site. Clearly, they're developing the area, and there will be a lot more hotels in the future. I also feel like for such a beautiful villa in a beautiful location. It could do with a little money invested in it. The TVs are old and the bathroom shower isnt great. The whole room could do with a refresh. Also, it would be nice if they could provide some refreshments like tea and coffee. Just small things that would elevate the place. Also, be aware of the monkeys that like to sneak into rooms if you leave your door open.

The view is incredible and was very private which was great. The location of the villa can be challenging to get to though, as it’s quite far out and not nearby to any cafes or anything. We used gojek to have food and drinks delivered most days. There were two nights where it was very noisy as the neighbouring venue was hosting weddings on the cliff front. The music was blaring all night and fireworks woke us up about midnight. Also there is quite a bit of noise in the afternoons from Sundays beach club, which is located directly underneath the villa on the beach front. As long as you don’t mind noise then I would recommend this villa. But if you’re after peace and quiet then potentially book elsewhere. We would book again despite the noise, it was a beautiful space. We had the private villa on the lower level. I had a Balinese man come out and do a massage which he did outside on the outdoor bed, it was very peaceful with the sounds of the waves crashing. Be careful of monkeys too. There were a few days they tried to get into our villa. Nothing to be afraid of, just be mindful not to leave things laying around as they’ll steal it.

This is my 3rd visit to Bali so I already lived in a lot of 4 and 5 stars hotels. Usually I do not write long reviews, but after having read a lot of negative comments I would like to give you some more details: VIEW & POOL - fantastic you have the same view like in “the Ungansan ” which is on the opposite side of the small valley but there you pay 600 or 1000 USD per night. WIFI: always worked perfect MONKEYS: yes there are some monkeys but they are funny and not aggressive, this is a wildlife area you have monkeys everywhere even in the expensive 5 star hotels BREAKFAST you can choose between classic version with eggs any style, they come with a mix of sauteed vegetables, toast Marmelade Butter and juice and a very nice big freshly made fruit platter or alternative is Indonesian style fried rice or noodles… quality was good and fresh made so what do you want more for 6 USD For the villa has only 5 rooms you can not expect a breakfast buffet like in the Ritz Carlton STAFF: is super nice and super helpful… if you need anything just tell them they will organise for you. In the first night there was loud noise from the fan of the air conditioning, after one day the installed a complete new compressor and the noise was gone… …when you sleep at night you can hear the waves from the sea which is very relaxing. Villa Manager “ I Wayan” is a very smart and helpful guy, he organised local fruit etc etc for me. Housekeeping and concierge desk are very polite as well, if you need anything from fresh towels to a new blanket just tell them THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT SERVICE !!! And in the end the villa is not new but everything was absolutely clean, they already made some renovations the rooms are in a good shape, I never had animals like spiders ants or anything else in the room. I stayed 5 days and for the location is so nice I extended my stay for 2 more nights ….

Little bit in the middle of nowhere but just 10 minutes ride away to super nice locations like Sundays beach Club or one eighty beach club ( both a must visit) Just download the GOJEK app ( Indonesian UBER) and you easily go around for a handful of dollars

What a gem. We had no idea it would be so spectacular - the views are amazing. The room was huge with a large bathroom. Ours was downstairs so straight out the doors into the pool. The location was perfect so close to Sundays and Savaya which is why we went to Uluwatu. Last minute bargain. Staff have limited English but were very accommodating. We had breakfast which was simple but again great of value at $10 aud. Great place. We even had a visit from monkeys who stole our peanuts and chips!!! Watch them they are quick.

Well the location was amazing, every morning a pool with ocean view, I was completely alone in whole villa so that was just an amazing 2 nights there, also tv with netflix and so on, could rent a good bike there for a fair price, private breakfast in the morning and the breakfast was very rich, I was so full. Also the manager and staff very friendly, very fast wifi also. 40 mbps comparing to other villas its very good

The only thing is that you can see that the villa needs already some maintenance. You can find some cracks, some things are broken like plumbing in shower and so on. Could be replaced, some things just need some care and they probably dont want to invest money in it. But if they would it would be like 10/10 place to stay definitely

View is so amazing and worth the money. We stayed in the master room with a private pool, it was luxury. room and bathrooms were very nice and clean. Friendly service. Downloaded the ‘GoJek’ app which was great - lots of food options for delivery nearby which allows you to stay in and enjoy the villa. Also booked in massages at the villa too. Lots of beach clubs and cafes a short drive away.

Shuttle bus which we requested never arrived to pick us up from airport - not sure if this service is even available. No food at the villa however GoJek app will solve that issue- food delivered at a very cheap price. There is nothing else that is walking distance , you will need transport however it doesn’t take lonng to get to the cafes and beach clubs in the centre (5-10 min drive) you can also book a driver by car or scooter via the Go Jek app. we walked 5 mins up the road and there is a bunch of local drivers there as well.

The ocean view , monkey entertainment.

Breakfast is ordinary the property offers no facilities. Food options from this location are limited. At this level the property should offer a driver or shuttle to take you to the beach or restaurants near by. Lucky karma kandara is next door offering full facilities so we used there shuttle to get from the beach and restaurant. The owner needs to invest in there staff the property is missing a lot of personal touch points with some love this property could be amazing.

Breathtaking views, fantastic infinity pool, wonderful staff. If you are looking for a beautiful quiet stay this is for you! There is no good available just a breakfast you can order. Within 2 minutes walk is the beautiful Klive beach club! Amazing views and the best food.

Nothing but the property could do with a bit more work but Covid really didn’t help!

The master room was excellent value for money, first class views and the room was brilliant for our needs. Good private pool, large spa bath and outdoor shower. Honestly the room and staff were great, would thoroughly recommend the venue for those looking for a good room at a reasonable price, nearby to lots of beaches. For the extra few dollars I would highly recommend the master room which occupies the whole lower floor.

The only drawback is a lack of food options onsite. Breakfast was ok, price was fine and the staff happily delivered it down to our table. If you want lunch/dinner you need to head out elsewhere or the staff can help arrange something delivered. This is only a minor issue which is easily resolved.

The villas are large. Beautiful views. Great pool. The breakfast is very good and a lot of food. The staff are wonderful. Thank you I Wayan for everything! We enjoyed the daily monkey visits! A wonderful oasis away from it all. The villas are close to the best beach in Bali, Melasti Beach. The beach at Karma Kandara is one of the best as well. Grab motorbike & car will come here. Definitely recommend Villa Maiara.
