The breakfast was simple and good.Loves the spring rolls was crispy. The dinner was good and nice asian food.

-The room curtain shud be slight bigger and thicker. -one last night was noisy as people had a gathering outside. -room needs dusbin.

Great value with included breakfast and dinner. The staff and owner are kind and helpful. My one-night stay turned into five nights because of the great value and friendliness. The place doesn’t get extremely loud, which is great, yet still offers opportunities to socialize if you feel like to socialise. It’s not spotless, but it’s not filthy either—generally tidy. Both the rooms and common areas are mopped and swept daily. The toilets are clearly checked regularly, as there’s always toilet paper, and the shampoo and shower gel are consistently refilled. The hostel has a spacious and pleasant outdoor seating area with wooden furniture. There’s also an indoor workspace with desks, tables, and power outlets, which is great if you need a quiet place away from the smoke outside.

I have two humble suggestions for this lovely hostel: 1. Unfortunately, the smoking area isn’t separated from the outdoor common area, and smokers tend to smoke carelessly. In the future, it would be great to designate a specific smoking area outside so that non-smokers can also enjoy the outdoor space without being disturbed by the smoke. 2. The neatly arranged indoor working space doesn’t have a fan, nor do the hallways or corridors where there are sofas and desks. Adding fans in these areas would be a great improvement, making the stay even more comfortable. Note: The bed lights in the female dorm need to be fixed or replaced, as two or three of them are not functioning properly.

It's a very social hostel, thats what I liked the most. You will always find people hanging out at the dining area in the evening, and it is very easy to meet new people and share experiences. I met some people staying in other hostels, but they told me that their hostel wasn't as social and friendly. So definitely go here, if that's the vibe you want. So yeah pretty much everything is good, and you get to meet new new snakes everyday (literally pythons).

Maybe the curtains can be of better quality, and the AC was slightly ineffective in my room, it wasn't working that well.

The hostel is located in a good area. The room is clean, spacious and the AC works very well and WiFi too. It's rare to find at this price a place with also breakfast and dinner (vegetarian) included. At night it's nice the atmosphere and Laura is really helpful with all her advices! The train station is very close. Free unlimited coffee, tea and water!

Only 2 things: The room is just next to the road and it's very noisy. It wasn't a big problem for us, travelling for long time change your level of patience 😅 The breakfast is very light.

Certain rooms have issues such as lack of amenities and limited space for luggage. Due to its central location, noise from the surrounding area can be a disturbance during the night.

Cheap hostel, near the train station, with good confortable beds. The room and the toilets are clean. The owner Laura is really nice, she knows a lot about what to do in the city and for your next destinations. She also did a book you can find in the communal area, with all the informations. A plus are the included breakfats and dinner, if you are not too complicated to eat what you get. There are good vibes with a lot of people there in the evening to spend time. Free qater and tea and coffee. For some nights is a good place to stay

The staff beside Laura is not so comunicative, they do their job but nothing more than that. If you have questions about what to do or other informations ask laura or other travelers. The breakfast is ok but always sugary and fries things- but as I said before if you are not complicated is ok. The free water is also a bit warm, the water dispenser do no cool it down.

Recommend! Clean, nice welcoming staff, very good location. You have a water/ tea/ coffee/ lemon infused water stand free of charge and as much as you want. A big shared space with many box games. Bathroom was also cleaned all the time, and I was given a towel free of charge:) Bed was big, clean and comfortable. I loved the shared meals theme! Having dinner together was very fun. The breakfast together was fun as well but was very small.

I don’t have enough amazing things to say! First off it’s not a party hostel but very social, breakfast and dinner and included for free so lots of travelers around to talk with and plan activities. The owner, Laura is there often dinners and is the most knowledgeable person I have met in 6 months in Indonesia when it comes to Indonesia transportation, activities and information! Not to mention that’s she is so sweet and so is her entire staff. They have multiple books with all-things-Jogjakarta to do in the local area and will help you coordinate any activities :) The accommodation is comfortable, bathrooms are clean, wifi is suitable and AC is great. Scooter rentals, laundry, daytime coffee and cafe. Very nice facilities close to both in-city train stations!

- really friendly, a great place to meet people if you’re traveling solo - delicious breakfast and dinner included, which is also a good way to spend time with other guests and meet people - rooms are comfy and clean, equipped with AC - friendly and helpful staff - they rent scooters with helmets for 100k/day - hot shower (though you don’t really need it) - internet working really well

- it could be great to add one or two sinks, as there was only one for all the guests in our building - a bit noisy at night (especially because of the road passing by)

The staff were so welcoming and hospitable, especially the three young women from Maluku whom I fell into conversation with. Breakfast and dinner were included in the price, and drinking water was available, The Wi-Fi was strong, the shower had good pressure, and the toilet was clean enough considering the large number of guests staying there. It's located within walking distance to the main train station, which makes it a useful place to stay for getting an early train out of the city.

This hostel seems to attract sociable guests who enjoy nightlife, so it might be a bit too noisy or lively for boring types like me. The beds were extremely flimsy, noisy, and didn't have privacy curtains. The walls are also thin. The shower was slightly cold, maybe because the water heater had run out of hot water after everyone had used it.
