WE stayed here four nights. When we checked in they advised we had been upgraded from a double room to a family room. Great sized room with a king and a single bed, two desk areas, two armchairs but no fridge, even though there was a space for one or where one had been. Lovely views of the Estuary. Breakfast was very good with continental and a great choice a la carte cooked. Very peaceful surrounds and only a 5 minute walk into the village. Some very nice restaurants and cafes.

We had dinner the first night in the hotel restaurant. There was confusion over the two menus we had seen in the room as we just wanted something light but were told the menu with toasted sandwiches was not available so just ordered an entree. We then heard another table order from that menu. Bit annoyed and we dined in town the next three nights.

the quality of the bedroom, the location and the dining were all excellent.

breakfast could have been better with fresh juices instead of artificial juice, a better range of breakfast cereals and fresh fruit would also have been a good upgrade. overall though the breakfast offering was very good and I wouldn't allow these minor items to diminish my enjoyment of the property or the quality of the stay.

Fantastic staff mary o brien josh from Portugal. All waiters and waitresses. The desk staff were so helpful and professional in their dealings with us . The manager of the restaurant she was always polite and efficient this hotel is a credit to the staff. What a beautiful setting relaxed and comfortable with fabulous food. Will be back. ... we initially booked for one night but stayed for 3.... what a hidden gem. Had a seaweed bath would recommend one to relax..

Nothing to complain about. Nothing was too much for the staff. And always with a bit of banter .. mary o brien... fantastic

The room was massive and overlooked the small inlet at the rear. The view was fabulous but this did mean we had experienced strong winds and rain lashing against the windows at night. Beds were comfortable, bathroom large with beautiful soaps and moisturiser and large fluffy towels. There was plenty of tea and coffee on the amenities tray. Dinner was good but very similar to the dinner offerings of other hotels we have stayed in during our 10 night stay in Ireland. Breakfast was cooked to over and was delicious plus there was the usual fruits, yoghurt, cereals and pastries. All in all, couldn’t fault our stay. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Overall everything was perfect. My husband and I went for a seaweed bath which was amazing rain and all.

I asked for skimmed milk with my breakfast which wasn't provided. Also the vending machine on the ground floor did not sell water so as it was late i had to order from the bar and it cost me 6 euros for a 750ml bottle which was really expensive.

What a stunning hotel. First of all, the location. A short walk from the gorgeous little village of Sneem. But the setting, the location! Wow. On the water front, overlooking the Sneem River which runs into the Atlantic. You could sit on the terrace all day and look out, if the weather is good, as it was during our stay. Friendly staff, plenty of parking, great facilities for the wheelchair, and the most beautiful friendly hotel dog, RED, a stunning Irish red setter. Lovely food. Great service. Can't find any fault here. If you are doing the Ring of Kerry, you won't find a nicer place to stay. And special thanks to the on duty manager, Nicola, who sorted out my mixup of dates. I'll be back, and I have already recommended this hotel to friends and family.

Honestly, cannot find any fault.

The staff were lovely; professional and friendly without being obsequious. The rooms were large and very comfortable and the food was ample, tasty and well presented.

There was a shortage of non-fried food for breakfast, although the fruit salad was fresh and plentiful. The terrace was lovely to sit out on, with a gorgeous view, so it was a pity that no one thought to dry off the seats after a rain shower.

The breakfast was lovely with plenty to choose from. The dinner was exceptional, I so enjoyed the duck I ordered, it was devine. My husband was equally happy with the steak he ordered. Staff were very attentive. And as it was our 20th wedding anniversary, there was a piece of chocolate with happy anniversary on the dessert. We were both very happy with everything.

The hotel has a very good location, close to everything I needed. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of tasty options. The staff were very kind and always helpful, which made my stay much more enjoyable. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would recommend it.

The bed and pillows were quite old and not very comfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

It was our first time staying at The Sneem Hotel. The setting is so fabulous. The views from the restaurant are beautiful. We had all our meals at the hotel. Couldn't fault a thing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely, a return visit is on the cards in the future.
