This is a very compact package of room and bathroom (as expected from the advertising) and functional, but it had almost everything we needed for a good night's sleep. The location is right in the centre of Kenmare and for what we knew we were getting it was excellent value for money.
It isn't what I didn't like, since we are both pretty lithe, but an over-weight person will find it very hard to get through the gap between the door and the taps in the shower, and this feature should probably be mentioned in advertising. Otherwise we were very satisfied.

Room and bathroom very clean, maybe recently renovated?? Very central.. I was in room one.Communal kitchen there but I didn't use it. Small but it seemed to have all the appliances you might need.
The shower had a little problem. When the shower doors were closed it opened a gap with the next sheet of glass so it would be easy to flood the place. You need to point the shower head away from it and put a towel on the floor. The shower it's self was small. The fuse for the sockets blew during the night and I messaged the owner in the morning. Twenty minutes later it was sorted. You need a degree to open the windows!! Some noise from the pub next door but it wasn't too bad. No bedside tables.

The location was excellent and Paul was extremely responsive. The bed was comfortable and shower was good.
The only real issue we had was that there was some sort of socket/electrical issue so we couldn't charge our phones. When I reported this, Paul sorted it immediately (within about 10 minutes) but sadly it happened again later in the evening. We couldn't sort it and as a result we had two dead phones in the morning - not ideal for the ROK drive! It was one of those things, but just reporting so they know it is ongoing.

Great location right on the main street access to all Great pubs .restaurants .shops
The pub next door .the staff were dreadful .except for a young girl with dark Bob hair I think she was French. But the rest of then spent most time flirting with each other .ended up getting my own water after asking 3 times .sad negative point but seriously if they did less flirting with the guy with the abs and bun top .service would be better .we ate there once food was 5 / 10 .we dropped in for a last drink on our last nite .the lovely girl I mentioned said yes go on in there still servings. But Paul a very rude member of staff tried to say no were closed while still servings people at the bar .I told him the lovely girl said you were open .he did serve us but his attitude was awful ..let's the pub down he needs to be re trained in hospitality....

Small room, but in my case of traveling for one night for work, it's the perfect room to relax for the evening, the bed is comfortable, and the shower has good pressure and temperature. The balcony/Decking in room 4 was a nice, unexpected suprise of which was lovely with the weather. The only issue, but even that it's minor and was a little funny, is how small the entrance door and shower door are, but once again, wasn't an issue really just a little laugh with bags.

We loved how easy it was the check-in in the room, by a key to collect to the near pub and a code to the door, and also super flexible in time. The room was clean, spacious and tidy. There was also a small kitchen and a laundry room outside! At the pub, they also stored our bike which was very nice! Kenmare is a lovely place and the B&B is in a perfect position, very central area, at the same time very quiet. We loved our stay!
We liked everything!

Fantastic for my needs. One Downside (below)
I was handed a key in a Craft Beer Bar but it was not explained to me that the room was down the street. I was "caught" redhanded trying to use the key on the wrong door adjoining the Craft Beer Bar. But, yes, was quiet funny really! But, just if the staff could reemphasise upon handing over keys where the room actually is, might help us disconcerted travellers. A long drive with a melted brain... etc

It was centrally located, close to eating places and to leave the car and walk around the town. There was a good frig ( left our food in it no worries) and plenty of crockery in the shared kitchen, where we made our breakie 3 mornings We had a lovely bathroom , was a quiet room to considering we were in the main street Very lucky to find O'Shea's dry cleaning, launderette, photo service and internet access right in the main street . Wonderful helpful girls :)

Unit is in a good location in the city center with plenty of pub options for food and mingling with locals. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Check-in was a little weird - I had to go down the street to a pub to ask for the key. Wifi was inaccessible from the top floor room. Had to go down a flight and sit in the stair well to get close enough to the router to get a signal.

Host helped to solve an issue caused by the Booking website. He actively reached out to inform me of an overbooking issue and sorted out a more expensive place at his own expense. He turned a potentially negative experience into a positive one.
Booking website allowed room to be listed as available even if it was booked. Host was able to locate issue just before the stay. The booking app can be clunky. My complaints are directed towards the platform and not the host.
