The Brook Lane is in an excellent location, a short walk into Kenmare. We were tired from the drive so ate in the hotel restaurant and had a wonderful meal. The room was large, pristine, and very comfortable. But best of all, when we inadvertently left behind reading glasses and a clock, Denise, who had checked us out, called us and messaged us through Booking.com. When we called her back, we gave her our address for Dublin, and she agreed to mail the items. But a half hour later, she called back to say that other guests who had checked out were also going to Dingle (our destination), and would bring the items and drop them at Bambury's Guest House, where we planned to stay. By the time we got to Dingle, the glasses and clock were there. That's simple kindness and unimaginable service! We are very grateful to Denise and will return some day, we hope.

Food was excellent and check-in and check-out staff were friendly and efficient.

We had a meal in the restaurant on the night of check-in and it was a little hit and miss with what appeared to be shift related issues (we asked for dessert menu and it never appeared but eventually tracked down another staff member and she was very helpful) food was lovely. The next morning we had breakfast in the dining room and again the food was lovely but we had the feeling that the staff would rather have been somewhere else and were left feeling that we were in boarding school again.

Stayed here for 1 night. Ample parking for motorbike. Exceptional customer service as soon as we arrived... Tamsin receptionist was fantastic and escorted us to our room. Bar staff johnny was so friendly and very professional. Resturant and food were superb and very reasonably priced. Check out so easy and una was a pleasure to deal with. Keep doing what ye are doing and we will definitely be back for a longer stay. Highly recommended 👌👍👏

Great breakfast, including some items from the owner’s farm. Friendly, responsive staff.

Morning coffee is an IV for many Americans, including my wife and myself. We are used to having it poured almost immediately as we sit down. The Irish, in all the restaurants we tried during our trip, don’t share that immediacy. Whether the coffee fix is virtuous or not, the expectation is real. Other than that picky note, the visit to Brook Lane and our other Irish experiences guarantee that we will be back…wonderful country, wonderful people.

Good location. Not the greatest burgers we have ever had. Very greasy. Put us off eating there for the rest of the week. Good coffee. Lovely French receptionist (Lucy). Check out not great - went to hand in the key and no receptionist available. Waited 15 minutes but still none. Asked to wait but we had a long drive back to Dublin so just had to leave the key and our mobile number.

Nice restaurant on site, good breakfast, friendly staff. Our suite was spacious and convenient for our family.

We stayed in a family suite, and the finishing made the whole suite feel like an afterthought. Bad lighting, clumsy little kitchenette with no space for dishwashing, etc.

Warmest of greetings to my Sister & her children. This Hotel simply never fails to give you the best of everything The Brooklane Kenmare has to offer. Excellent food Dinner & Breakfast. Beautifully appointed Superior Bedroom. The children loved it. My family have stayed here also few times. Fantastic family owned hotel with an incredible team. A huge thank you for 100 percent warmest of Irish welcomes.

Hotel was very comfortable with nice restaurant and pub on property. It is a little walk into Kenmare town; but it is a sweet walk bu a sheep field and through a neighborhood. Room and bed were very comfortable. Staff was really nice. Breakfast was a treat and the wait staff at breakfast were super!

Might have been nice to be a little closer to town. But also the distance made it a little quieter.

walking distance to center of kenmare. a lot of attention to detail regarding cleanliness and ambience. may have been one of cleanest rooms i've stayed in. local scents throughout hallways and common spaces which were a great personal touch. really friendly staff at front desk and at breakfast which was great. attached restaurant also with delicious options.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the staff, who were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The hotel's location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a great selection of fresh, high-quality ingredients. Overall, an excellent experience—would highly recommend!
