Our whole stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. Our room was on the smaller side but still perfect for our needs and very functional. The beds were comfortable and it was tastefully furnished and decorated. The breakfast is great, there is a selection of pastries, fruit, deli meats, cheeses, granola with milk/yogurt (plant-based options for both), also hard boiled eggs and an egg omelette, as well as some sausages and vegetarian/vegan(?) patties. The location is very convenient, you can easily walk to some of the most popular attractions (palais garnier, louvre…), but there are several metro stations nearby as well that can take you anywhere in the city. There is a variety of great restaurants practically just outside of the hotel. I would heavily recommend this hotel to everyone ;)

The hotel surroundings tend to get lively and a bit noisy at night because of the proximity of the restaurants, but it’s honestly not too disruptive and we easily slept through the night anyway.

Very good location, metro walking distance , plenty of cafes restaurants bakeries etc .. Hotel, room very clean . There is everything you need . Beds are very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The size of the room, very small so no much space to put luggage . Our room was on the street and Parisians go out every night ! It gets very noisy until very late but there is double glaze windows and hotel provide earplugs 😊. And also breakfast could be improved by serving fresh bread considering the hotel is located in a very busy shopping area with plenty of bakeries !

We loved the area,very alive with lots of restaurants and bars around and the metro station (chateau d’eau) very close around 200m. Also another metro line is near (Strasbourg St.Dennis) so it’s easy to get around the city. Staff were friendly,check in was fast. The room is small as all the rooms in Paris but has everything you need. Big tv,free WiFi ,very comfortable beds,everyday free coffee with machine in the room. Bathroom was big ! The room had the right temperature . We recommend this hotel for a perfect stay in Paris in a good price.

Great stay, lovely clean room with everything we could need for our Paris trip (including banana sweets!). Helpful staff and good atmosphere. It is also located in a fantastic area. It's close enough to walk to gard de nord with luggage (which the hotel will hold for you before and after check out times) and just step outside the door were buzzy bars and restaurants (though never overly noisy). We had never been to Paris before and this neighbourhood turned out to be our favourite by far.

The only downside was the room size and lighting. It was fairly small, but we expected this from the description and from the excellent price in walking distance of the centre of Paris. Lights were an issue. They either needed to all be on or all off, which was a bit of a pain when trying to read at night.

The hotel was around 5 mins away from gare du nord via metro line 4.The hotel was a 4 min walk from the metro exit.Overall the hotel was in a good neighbourhood with parisian restaurants very close.The hotel staff were the best and really made me and my family felt welcome.The rooms were equipped with nespresso machines, bath robes, slippers, body oil and toiletries, really made us feel like it was a 5 star hotel.The beds were comfortable,and earplugs were provided cause the restaurants and clubs were busy at night but the noise did not affect our stay.Overall a 5 star experience in Paris and would definitely rebook this hotel.Thank you to the hotel for having us

The staff is very nice and helpful. Every detail is well-thought and there are a lot of nice ideas, like the filtered water to bring to the room and the bonbon bar :) We had everything we asked for, and more. The location is great, with a lot of nice bars, restaurants and shops, and we felt very safe despite the short walking distance from the train station. The room was very comfortable and we had a great night of sleep. It was quiet because the window was on the inside courtyard.

I reckon some rooms could be noisy due to a crowded bar being right next to the hotel, but it was not our case because we asked for a quiet room. Still, the walls are quite thin so we could hear the other guests talking in the middle of the night. There were complimentary earplugs so it was ok.

For being Paris on a budget trip, this was superb! Very small (but what can you expect), helpful staff and a great breakfast that we were treated to for some reason. We wanted to stay close to Gare de l’est, metro was a bit away. The area might not be the nicest but the hotel was fantastic; we could fill up our water bottles, there were juices and sweets and the breakfast was organic and locally produced. Warmly recommend!

You will find very friendly staff at Hotel Aulivia Opéra. The room was perfect for our needs, with two twin beds. Do not expect large spaces in a Paris city hotel room and you will be a much happier person! Location is central for ourbplans with great food (Jah Jah) nearby and very close to Gare du Nord. HAO held our bags before and after check-in. Rent a Velíb right outside the door!

5-10 minute walk from the nearest train station, plenty of food and drink options nearby. The hotel has a vintage/retro theme to it, which I really liked. The staff at the hotel were really helpful and kind! The room itself is cosy, and the window view faces into the internal courtyard. There's both a lift and staircase available to use. I didn't try their breakfast, but it looked like a lovely set up too. You can get still or sparkling water at the ground floor and bring it up with you.

There was no dinner facility despite there being a menu in our room - only salad and soup available which was disappointing as we had been told that we could have dinner and had booked a table. We were rushed as we had a show booked and this left us little time to find somewhere else to eat dinner.
