Exceptional Service by Zeno Made Our Stay Truly Memorable Our recent 7-day stay at Hotel Victory Galou in central Paris was a wonderful experience, made truly exceptional thanks to Zeno, the receptionist at the hotel. From the moment we arrived, Zeno impressed us with his professionalism, warmth, and willingness to help at every step. During our stay, we encountered an unexpected situation when our return flight was cancelled, and we needed to extend our accommodation. Despite the hotel being almost fully booked due to high demand, Zeno went above and beyond to ensure that we had a room. His calm and courteous handling of the situation eased our stress significantly and allowed us to enjoy the extra day in Paris without worry. The hotel itself is well-located—right in the heart of Paris and close to a prominent Metro station, which made commuting around the city very convenient for our family. The staff overall were friendly and efficient, but it was Zeno’s personal touch that truly stood out and made our stay memorable. We are sincerely thankful for his support and care, and we wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Victory Galou to anyone visiting Paris—especially for the outstanding service by team members like Zeno.

Nothing as such

The staff are great! The location is perfect! Close to the metro. The hotel is near Julhès Paris (this is an amazing café with a big variety delicious pastry and desserts, nice coffee and wonderful quiches). Every morning we had breakfast there. Also, there was a beautiful cheese shop TAKA & VERMO near our hotel and a gorgeous vegetable and fruit shop Saint Denis Primeurs - PINK LADY.

There was a lot of dust under the beds, it felt like this has not been cleaned for several weeks.

Very friendly staff, very simple, but clean, functional room. It is a one-star hotel, don't forget, so no elevator. Small bathroom, but shower and everything else worked just fine. Beds are good. Beautiful flowers outside the window, when you open the window to a very quite small side street.

Quaint, welcoming and homely, staff obliging and pleasant. Conveniently located near metro and eateries and places of interest. Great shower.. Circular, spiral, staircase. Lovely old world feel with timber buttresses on ceiling and small windows which open to street.

With no lift you have to carry luggage up the stairs, I was glad I travelled light as on 5th floor. The small street in which it is located is a thoroughfare at night. Some young men from adjoining properties talking loudly into the night in the street. Breakfast extra.

We were very happy with the staff (friendly, smiling) and with the room. We only needed the room to sleep and were out the rest of the time; for this purpose, the room was perfect. Good, firm mattress. The room had a nice, modern interior with ample floor space, a desk and a closet to hang clothes etc. Everything looked clean and new.

We'd like to suggest to the hotel to place a device for boiling water, two cups and some sugar and milk so that guests can have a refreshment when waking up or when returning to the room after a busy day (or night). This shouldn't be a very costly investment and would greatly increase the overall experience.

The hotel was very near to Strasbourg Saint Denis Metro station, also there are good Indian food restaurants nearby. The staff at the hotel was really amazing and provided great hospitality.

Although we didn't needed the Air conditioning but it must be there in case if required.

great staff! very friendly and helpful, great sense of humour whilst we chatted as we were coming and going and very welcoming people. We were comfortable and had everything we needed at a reasonable price.

It is a typical French Hotel (no elevator, basic etc). since i had stayed in Paris often, i was surprised about how big the room was. The 3 of us had a lot of space. The staff were very friendly and flexible.

The room was huge and very comfortable. The hotel was next to many restaurants, bars, grocery stores and an underground entrance.
