It is close to Staff was helpful generally friendly, and attentive (but not the 100% positive attitiude that we know it from other hotels). Having shared bathroom was okay for us. A quiet street. Nice stylish old closet.

It has a currew - at 1:30, but when you like to go out in Paris, it is still too early. A water cattle or free coffee would have been nice. (There is coffee nearby at the small supermarket.) The TV in our room was just above/next to the the door, if you don't pay attention, you might hit it when entering the room.

The staff are really friendly here and I felt safe. They clearly explained hotel rules (1:30 curfew, leave key at desk when you go out) and gave me a fresh towel and soap. I used the shower and it was decent. Each room has its own sink and mirror! The beds didn’t look that special but were surprisingly comfy. Really happy with the stay!

A bath mat should be added outside the shower as it was only a bare tile floor outside. There was also dust in spots in the bathroom & room that I think could have been tidied up.

Easy to find, nice, helpful, friendly staff, value for money in central Paris. It's an old style hotel, a little bit tired in terms of deco, but everything works, everything is clean and the owners are great - real people who have real conversations, not just plastic smiles and parroting the same info to every client. The bed was comfy, the street was quiet at night despite being near a busy area

Can't think of anything, I mean the loo is a short flight of stairs away but they're clear about that in the room description. It's not even an inconvenience, I have to leave my room to go to the loo at home, I'm used to it. 😅

Perfect location, and a very clean room. I took the room with the ensuite bathroom and the room was large, comfortable the bedsheets were clean and spotless, and the bathroom was functional and also clean. The staff are very helpful and courteous. The place is very quite and next to a metro stop ( Bonne nouvelle),

Not an issue for me. But if you are old and have heavy bags, you have to take it up the stairs. Just keep that in mind.

Convinient location, hot water for shower, change of bins daily..

- toilet being on the ground floor, no iron, no kettle or dryer in the room. - fire alarm went off around 1800 a day before i leave, and i told the staff by the reception but she said she cannot come upstairs to the room to see, i had to wait until 1930 hourels when the night staff took over to reset it. The alarm went off again early hours around 2am, had to go downstairs to the reception so they can reset it for me, it was soooo annoying with the noise..

This is an authentic old Parisian hotel with uneven floors and tiny shared toilets on the staircases. You know you're in Paris, not in some generic hotel that could be anywhere. The facilities are basic but perfectly adequate for a real traveller.

You have to leave your key when you go out, so you shouldn't come back too late or you would be locked out.

A very quirky little hostel. Staff was very friendly, our room was the one under the roof and very spacious. We had a sink and a shower inside the room but no toilet which was odd. It was two floors down. Location was good, in walking distance to train stations and to most of Paris' attractions. We mainly walked everywhere. One of the cheaper ones in the area. Staff kept the room key when we left the building, I guess as a safety measure.

It will probably need some renovation at some stage, bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner.

The area is very nice, Centre Pompidou is only 10/15minutes by walk😊People were nice and friendly and the room was cosy, I slept like a child. The price is also super fine.

The toilet is a biz of a problem, every second floor has one toilet and there was one out of work. But i read about it before, so for 1-2nights its fine.

It is good place with excellent price / value ratio . Separate room , Cheap , basic , clean , convenient , very good and helpful staff , excellent location .

For this price , it is possible to get a place in hostel , in dormitory. Here it is a separate room . Basic , clean room . Location is excellent . For an economical single traveller , it is excellent !
