Super friendly staff, very helpful and added a personal touch. Early check-in was possible for me so I got lucky but it felt like they were very accommodating with fitting in that request. Luggage storage would have been possible also. Great location - walking distance from metro station with three lines, le Marais, Chatelet les Halles, gare du nord, gare de l'est and there were many restaurants nearby.

There is no lift to reception which is on the first floor so if you have a suitcase you will need to carry it up one set of stairs. I found leaving the key at reception a little unusual but it's not the only hotel in Paris with this rule.

The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room, the accessibility of the property. Breakfast quite repetitive but solid - good selection of chees, no meat at all but very okay for us. Orange juice from an internal producer - very good taste Reception opened 24h. Towels changed daily. Beds made daily to check-in standards. Minifridge is a added bonus for a 3 star hotel. AC was fantastic. Furniture a bit outdated but functional an without odors. Bathroom spotless clean, no molds around the bathtub, no public toilet odors. Room small but hey, it is Paris. The surroundings offer plenty of choices for lunch/dinner. Some streets have lots of weird-looking people, but in 2-3 days you get accustomed to. Subway station nearby, as well as convenient shops. A very good place to stay, serviced by very nice staff, always eager to help and give you tips.

The staff are super-helpful, going so far as to help you with luggage on the first flight of stairs before you are able to access the lift. They were very knowledgeable, finding answers to questions they didn’t have ready answers to. Lots of eateries around the corner made it handy and, whilst not the most stylish of addresses, it wasn’t noisy at night and was well maintained internally. Breakfast offered great variety and the rooms included a mini-fridge, which is miraculous as the rooms are small.

The Arrondissement is not touristy - which was a plus - and the many congregations of men were at times intimidating. There was a bit of rubbish on the streets. None of this, of course, is a fault of the property itself.

Our room had a queen and twin bed, perfect for the 3 of us. Working air conditioning, mini fridge and small soap and shampoo items for use. Clean and well-kept rooms. We didn’t try their breakfast so can’t comment on that. The staff were warm and super friendly!! We liked that you had to be buzzed into the building, and they collected the room key every time we left, as added steps of security.

Not as close to the tourist attractions so had to plan travel time every day, but I knew that when I reserved the room. The reception area is up a flight of spiral stairs, then we were able to use the small lift.

We had a truly wonderful stay at CosMotel, and one of the standout highlights was the incredible hospitality of the owner, François. From the moment we arrived, François went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at ease. His warmth and friendliness made a real difference to our experience. François was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, offering us countless recommendations on where to go, what to see, and how to get there. Whether it was planning day trips or finding hidden local gems, his advice was always spot-on and clearly came from genuine passion and deep local knowledge. Even when we needed taxis, he was happy to call them for us—always with a smile and never making us feel like we were asking too much. What truly set François apart, though, was how caring he was when my wife suddenly felt unwell. Without hesitation, he helped us get to a hospital and showed true concern for her wellbeing. His kindness and calm support during that stressful moment meant more than we can express. CosMotel is a lovely place to stay, but it’s François who makes it exceptional. Thank you again for everything—your kindness won’t be forgotten.

It was in perfect location. 5mins walk to metro. They have parking space but you must be a good driver as it has a very limited space. But your car is safe thats for sure. The receptionist who checked us in is very accommodating, informative and helpful. He gave us all the important points and suggestions. I forgot to ask his but thank you for your help! Highly recommend this place! Would surely stay here again if ever we are going to visit paris again…

We had a great stay at this hotel in Paris. Even before check-in, the staff kindly let us leave our luggage for one night while we traveled to Lyon, which was a big help. When we returned, the check-in went smoothly and the team was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room had all the necessary amenities and everything was comfortable.

The only downside is the neighborhood. While the location is convenient, there are quite a few people hanging around on the streets, especially at night, which can feel unsafe — even when walking in a group.

The staff were great! François and all the other staff were so kind and helpful. They were able to provide transportation information, helped us with our luggage, and provided us with amenities such as adapters which was fabulous. I even requested a kettle to use before I left for the day and when I arrived back at the Hotel from our day of sightseeing they had a kettle, coffee cups and some packets of tea and coffee, etc. all ready for me at the front desk.

The hotel is old and has many stairs but can't be helped because most buildings in Paris are old. However, coming back each night to our hotel room was nice because we knew that our rooms would be cleaned and bed made.

The guy running this place in the mornings was the most helpful, most friendly, most knowledgeable person we encountered on our 2 week trip. He was the best. The room was very clean and had pretty much everything we needed, and the location is on the edge of the hood but also where the best, non-touristy restaurants are and was very economical. Plus they have a parking garage (if you're driving a Paris sized car). AC was cold.

The room is tiny. Like, walk around the bed sideways tiny. Also the bed was a bit firm for my husband (I didn't mind that).

The hotel staff were absolute best from the check in to check out. They allowed me to keep a kettle in my room and provided some sachet of coffee and milk which I thought was really thoughtful. As it was a single room, I was on the top floor of the second building with a room overlooking other buildings. Despite it's centrally located, I could almost hear nothing outside during nighttime even if the windows are open. I like the practicality of the single room they provided me because it is everything I needed for my stay. The bed is on the firmer side so might be a minus for other people, but for me it was perfect. It is typical for Parisian hotels to leave the key at the reception when going out as guests could lose them and may fall on unwanted people. So for me, that was normal.

The location is a bit off for me, as it is close to the gare and I tried to not walk too late into the night
