A very clean, modern and friendly Hotel. Spacious and well decorated. With wecloming Reception staff who were Professional, Polite and very quick to resolve an arrival issue. A Complimentary upgrade, drinks vouchers and a speedy check in. Our room was large and the facilities were lovely. The Bathroom products smelt amazing too! We attended a Private Party and the Venue was great. A fantastic DJ and delicious BBQ and Buffet were provided.

There is nothing to Dislike. Its a shame the pool and leisure facilities werent open - but this is due to refurbishment and it was clearing specified when Booking. It will only add more to the Hotel. My only recommendation is a larger style wine glass - but this is only because I love glasses! And it didnt effect my experience.

The first thing that struck me was how beautiful it was to walk into, I was not expecting something so nice! The lady on reception was so lovely (sorry I don't remember her name) but she was exceptional. She realised I'd booked the wrong room by mistake and sorted it out without me even having to ask. She then helped me take my heavy case upstairs while I juggled my heavy camera box. That alone meant the world to me after such a long and exhausting weekend away for work! The room was large and absolutely stunning, free wifi is always appreciated. All of the staff smiled whenever I saw them and were always friendly whenever I spoke to them in passing. Amazing stay, thanks so much! I'm officially a Holiday Inn woman from now on!

The only issue I had was the shower, no matter what I did I couldn't get hot water. But I had such a pleasant stay I really didn't mind at all!

The beds were really comfy, i had the best night sleep in a very long time! The Swimming pool, hot tub and sauna were really good and no extra cost. We had a laugh playing the crazy golf, thats a small charge of £9odd each. There are high ropes and axe throwing too but we didnt have a go at that. The staff are lovely! The hotel is spotless, obviosly theres the small minor wear and tear as expected but nothing major and very clean! The tv in the rooms are Smart tvs so we used our netflix account wich was really good as most hotels have the standard tvs with standard channels. The drinks werent too over priced like most hotels. We really enjoyed it. The staff make you feel very wellcome.

The brekki wasnt the best, there was a large selction but the sausages were like rubber and not very warm. The beans were all dried up together. The hot drinks from the machine tasted like the milk had gone off (hence the 1 less star given). The dinner was nice, it was your standard pub grub so it is overpriced for what you are getting bit it was nice. The steak really isnt worth it, it was very basic steak full of fat. But apart from the food (that a majority of it was nice) we cannot fault the hotel itself and the lovely staff. The doors to the rooms bamg really loud when they close so you do hear that quite alot from other guests too

I contacted the hotel last minute to see if I could bring my dogs and they were very accommodating. When entering the room there were two cute dogs beds set up with bowls of treats for them, it was such a lovely touch and very helpful settling them in. The room was very large, big Tv, and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fine

I am a bath person, and the shower very big and modern was fine. But I always prefer a bath. I struggled a little bit a breakfast as I had my dogs with me, and they couldn't settle in the area that was set out for them, it was right at the entrance and having people going in and out disturbed them a lot. I stayed for a seminar in the manor room, the facilities were very nice, however the carpet hadn't had the best of cleans from the night before and my dogs were eating sweets and left over things off the floor which was a little concerning. I do realise that this is feedback based on my experience and doesn't necessary effect the majority of guests

I love everything about the hotel. I've been battling Cancer for 4 years and I come here whenever I am well enough/paused treatment with family and friends for a little get away.The fact you have gym, spa, dinner and breakfast, bar, town centre within 15mins. I can't ask for anything more. Not to mention the staff! They are absolutely amazing and always go above and beyond. I worry about cleanliness as I am immune suppressed due to treatment so asked them to give it an extra clean and they did! Honestly even though they have events, it's never too busy and overcrowded and I've always been able to use the spa facilities. Breakfast is lovely and they have a wide selection. This isn't just a hotel for me. It's somewhere, where I can relax. Feel safe, engage with friendly staff, eat, sleep and breath! It's my holiday! And I look forward to it everytime I stay.

The best part of the whole stay was the staff. So attentive, lovely, put their best foot forward to make your stay the best. I thought the gym had a good range of equipment and it was great that the pool had some specified adult-only swim times. Despite located by busy roads, it wasn't noisy.

The pillows were very soft. Also, because it's located by busy roads it's not the best for those traveling there by foot (though I already had this expectation so it didn't hinder my stay)

Large rooms. Window opened. Good facilities in room with hair drier and iron plus board. Walk in shower.

The bed sheets were too small for bed, which was 2 singles locked together so the sheets kept wrinkling up. Would have been better with fitted sheets that stayed in place. At night there was a noise like a washing machine that sounded for 15 seconds then went off for few minutes and this was constant through night. Think it was the water heating system

This hotel is an absolute gem. The staff are so lovely and go out of their way to help you. It is spotlessly clean and quiet. There were 2 events on during our stay but the staff considered this when allocating rooms to ensure we were away from it and noise was minimised.

The only thing was that the heating wasn't working in some of the hotel, including our room, but we went to reception and they have us a heater which did the job just fine!

The staff was amazing especially ellien in the restaurant bit. She is such a lovely lady who couldn't help enough. The food was 5*. All staff that worked on the weekend we was there deserves a bonus in they wages

Only thing what was missing was a full length mirror in the room. A fridge would be perfect in the rooms for those you has alligies like dairy so they could keep alternative milks in the room

Lovely hotel, lovely layout downstairs, lots of seating & table choices. The dog bit is a nice touch! Breakfast was really good and there was plenty of choice. The pool sauna steam is a lovely touch for hotel guests to use included. Room was clean, comfy & quiet.

The pool could do with some work, it’s a little worn around the tile edges. The bar staff are a little slow.
