The beds were really comfy, i had the best night sleep in a very long time! The Swimming pool, hot tub and sauna were really good and no extra cost. We had a laugh playing the crazy golf, thats a small charge of £9odd each. There are high ropes and axe throwing too but we didnt have a go at that. The staff are lovely! The hotel is spotless, obviosly theres the small minor wear and tear as expected but nothing major and very clean! The tv in the rooms are Smart tvs so we used our netflix account wich was really good as most hotels have the standard tvs with standard channels. The drinks werent too over priced like most hotels. We really enjoyed it. The staff make you feel very wellcome.

The brekki wasnt the best, there was a large selction but the sausages were like rubber and not very warm. The beans were all dried up together. The hot drinks from the machine tasted like the milk had gone off (hence the 1 less star given). The dinner was nice, it was your standard pub grub so it is overpriced for what you are getting bit it was nice. The steak really isnt worth it, it was very basic steak full of fat. But apart from the food (that a majority of it was nice) we cannot fault the hotel itself and the lovely staff. The doors to the rooms bamg really loud when they close so you do hear that quite alot from other guests too

I contacted the hotel last minute to see if I could bring my dogs and they were very accommodating. When entering the room there were two cute dogs beds set up with bowls of treats for them, it was such a lovely touch and very helpful settling them in. The room was very large, big Tv, and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fine

I am a bath person, and the shower very big and modern was fine. But I always prefer a bath. I struggled a little bit a breakfast as I had my dogs with me, and they couldn't settle in the area that was set out for them, it was right at the entrance and having people going in and out disturbed them a lot. I stayed for a seminar in the manor room, the facilities were very nice, however the carpet hadn't had the best of cleans from the night before and my dogs were eating sweets and left over things off the floor which was a little concerning. I do realise that this is feedback based on my experience and doesn't necessary effect the majority of guests

I love everything about the hotel. I've been battling Cancer for 4 years and I come here whenever I am well enough/paused treatment with family and friends for a little get away.The fact you have gym, spa, dinner and breakfast, bar, town centre within 15mins. I can't ask for anything more. Not to mention the staff! They are absolutely amazing and always go above and beyond. I worry about cleanliness as I am immune suppressed due to treatment so asked them to give it an extra clean and they did! Honestly even though they have events, it's never too busy and overcrowded and I've always been able to use the spa facilities. Breakfast is lovely and they have a wide selection. This isn't just a hotel for me. It's somewhere, where I can relax. Feel safe, engage with friendly staff, eat, sleep and breath! It's my holiday! And I look forward to it everytime I stay.

Large rooms. Window opened. Good facilities in room with hair drier and iron plus board. Walk in shower.

The bed sheets were too small for bed, which was 2 singles locked together so the sheets kept wrinkling up. Would have been better with fitted sheets that stayed in place. At night there was a noise like a washing machine that sounded for 15 seconds then went off for few minutes and this was constant through night. Think it was the water heating system

This hotel is an absolute gem. The staff are so lovely and go out of their way to help you. It is spotlessly clean and quiet. There were 2 events on during our stay but the staff considered this when allocating rooms to ensure we were away from it and noise was minimised.

The only thing was that the heating wasn't working in some of the hotel, including our room, but we went to reception and they have us a heater which did the job just fine!

It was a lovely clean and quiet space which was all we wanted after a fun filled family wedding weekend! Showers were clean, only thing I would suggest is that the extractor fan in bathrooms were not working in our room. It was great that I was able to have a gluten free breakfast! We had a late checkout booked in order to take advantage of the beauty salon & swimming pool unfortunately due to staff sickness it was shut on Sunday. That was a shame….. But all in all I thoroughly recommend this hotel above others that my extended family used and were not so impressed with. Short drive to Broughton House where we were attending a Big Fat Indian Wedding🎉🎉

To be honest a small gripe that the shower extractor was not working but no big issue! Staff could be more diligent at the coffee / tea points and ensure to replenish and clean that area. Had to seek out a member of staff to get more tea bags. One visible team member should be at welcome desk or on the dining/ breakfast area, no one there during our breakfast.

The staff was amazing especially ellien in the restaurant bit. She is such a lovely lady who couldn't help enough. The food was 5*. All staff that worked on the weekend we was there deserves a bonus in they wages

Only thing what was missing was a full length mirror in the room. A fridge would be perfect in the rooms for those you has alligies like dairy so they could keep alternative milks in the room

This was our second time staying here for our annual Christmas trip to visit family. But this time we made time to use the pool before breakfast & WOW!! The pool isn't the biggest but big enough to do lengths & warmer than expected. But we hadn't realised that there was a jacuzzi, steam & sauna rooms as well. All free for guests to use. The gym looked good too, but we didn't use this. Decent bar & coffee shop as well. Our room was lovely & big. Coffee machine alongside kettle was great. Fridge with bottled water. Decent sized TV with good range of channels/ streaming. Bathroom was also good size, lovely big towels, powerful shower.

Our only criticism is that we're pescatarian & the vegetarian sausages at breakfast were pretty poor compared to other hotels we've stayed in.

Loved the cleanliness, the room was really spacious, staff were great, breakfast was amazing....a pancake machine !!! The pool was warm, changing rooms clean and well looked after. You accept dogs x

Staff told us the wrong times for kids swimming time and then let in other kids while we were turned away .. not good!! Could have had a bath...we weren't asked, but I supposed I should have asked. We had a wonderful view of a wall ..... The lady at the desk tried to charge me twice for breakfast ???? Our room was 128....very noisy as it was near a doorway, a lift and facilities so very noisy with people coming past drunk and laughing ..

From the moment we arrived, we were treated as 'important guests' help with the luggage, to the room. Beautifully styled room. Cleanliness was immaculate. The hotels facilities were amazing. The dining room, hss everything on offer for breakfast. We decided to stay longer

The neighbours doors banging, open & shut for hours, glad it happened only once. Staff said "to ring down & tell them, & theyll speak with the other rooms occupants"
