We spent three nights here and it was perfect for us. Big room, so clean and well ventilated. The property is beautiful, they have done it all really well. Breakfast each morning has been lovely, it’s self serve home baked cakes and rolls. Fresh croissants and bread from bakery, meat, fruit and yoghurt plus they make you whatever coffee you would like and accommodated our toddler so well with babychino / warm milk etc. We originally stayed here as a more affordable option to visit Amalfi and Positano but this area has been the highlight of our trip to Italy so far. The authentic Italy we were hoping for compared to overpriced and busy tourist areas. We have found authentic, affordable dinner near by each night and the ladies here are fabulous - so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended!

Getting here was a bit tricky but it’s the same for most of the coast with the roads. Once we found it, it’s been great and easy to find our way around.

We loved our stay in this cosy house. It is located in Agerola, about 1-hour drive from Amalfi, the bus station is nearby (10-minute walk). We prefer this small town rather than Amalfi because the view is better and people are much nicer. From this house, you can already see the sea, it is very relaxing. The hostesses are super kind and helpful, we had lovely conversations. They even prepared delicious homemade cakes for breakfast, the breakfast is great!

The neighborhood is very quiet but hopefully your neighbors (other travelers) are polite enough not to make too much noises in the middle of the night.

We went there for our honeymoon and it was amazing. The breakfast was very good, different variety and she had amazing cakes that she baked herself. The place was super clean! They cleaned the room daily and the view from the balcony was breathtaking with the view of the mountain and sea. Thanks so much we would love to come again.

Property was located in the village of Agerola. It takes you around 30-40lin by car to get to Amalfi. The property it self was nice, cute traditional rooms with nice view. The breakfast in the morning was great, you had many things to choose from. Both of the hostess were very friendly and willing to help you with all you might need. They have a parking place as well, very comfortable in case you have a car/motorcycle.

We loved everything about this place, away from the touristy coastal towns.I'd definitely recommend staying here instead of somewhere in Amalfi or Positano. The room was perfect, and breakfast was an absolute treat!Thank you Valèria for your recommendations and for making our time in San Lazzaro so special.

The room is really comfortable, clean and big. The breakfeast is amazing and the staff are really nice. But I don't recommend you to stay in Agerola... If you are planning to take a bus to Amalfi and other cities, be prepared to have a headache. The bus sometimes leave some people behind, because is always full. There is no line do get in on the bus, so people push eachother to get in. It is a mess! If you are plannig to rent a car, that's not a good ideia either because there is no parking spot in Amalfi. Although you can rent a scooter, but the streets to Amalfi are reeeeallly dangerous and I saw some accidents. So that's why I don't recommend Agerola to you... The location is really bad. Next time I will definitely stay in Sorrento, because you can use the ferryboat to visit Amalfi, Positano, Capri and other cities.

There is no air conditioner. The hotel is on the top of a ramp. If you are on foot like me, be prepared. It is close to the center (13 minutes) but it is consireally hard to walk because of the long ramp.

This property was just stunning. My partner and I wanted to stay somewhere close to amalfi town but now quiet in the town so we chose Agerola which was about 30 minute drive on our moped from amalfi up the mountain. It was such a beautiful place to stay. The owner was so friendly and made our experience here really enjoyable. If your travelling the amalfi coast and want to experience the areas which the locals live then this is place for your. Breakfast was lovely. The room was very spacious with a balcony overlooking the sea. The shops bars and restaurants were only a 5 minute walk from the accommodation. Overall amazing stay. Thank you!!

Beautiful town that was away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi but with still so much to do! New places to eat everyday for lunch and dinner and things to see or do. Very comfortable stay and delicious breakfast every morning.

The room was clean, tidy, and cozy, with a beautiful view outside. Everything was perfect — 10 out of 10!
