I will remember stay at this Villa for a long time because it’s in such a beautiful location among olive trees and vineyards. We stayed here for a week. The pool is nice and we ate at the restaurant every day. I liked the main building with close access to the pool (we changed a few rooms). The staff are so friendly and helpful and a real highlight of this property - thank you so much to Claudette (you’re the best!), Tonino and Gio, and girls at the restaurant! There’s also own parking which was super convenient. Cleanliness level is top.

Some suggestions from a guest’s perspective: adding kettles and coffee machines to the room so there’s no need to go and order each time, adding some variety to breakfasts (you get tired of eating the same thing every day, even though it all tasted great), selling more water /adding water to rooms - 2 euro for a tiny bottle is a bit too much in my opinion. We had a car so many things were convenient and we could drive to beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. Perhaps for someone without a car it would be more complicated.

Booking. Com automatically cancelled Booking without me realising I had to pay by a certain date. I thought I was paying on arrival. Therefore booked again quickly in a panic and had a family room with boys at the end of our bed. Not best arrangement for teenagers. Original room I think had their beds around the corner providing privacy for them and me. Place is a bit remote contributing to us eating there every night. More likely to go back to self catering providing option to eat I or out.

This was our third time back at Villa Barbarina. However, we found it under new management and there were some slight changes. You now pay for your pool towels, €5 per towel and there as a mini bar in your room. Other than that, wonderful stay as always. Very friendly staff, most of them speaking English and the restaurant was as good as we remembered. We'll be back!!

Pros: - Beautiful location: quiet, cozy, relaxing. There is large olive tree garden and a lot of green area. Also the pool was very clean and not crowded. - The breakfast was good - the room was cleaned daily - large parking area - large bed and comfy Highly recommend.

Cons: - in the shower there is only an wall fixed shower head. It was better if there was a mobile shower head also.

We stayed here for one night only because of its proximity to the airport (about 3-5k) as we had an early flight and preferred not to return to Alghero. Staff especially the restaurant staff were very friendly. Diana on reception was very helpful beforehand and during our stay. The villa is modern, spotlessly clean and has a very relaxing pool. Restaurant doesn't serve lunch but we were able to get a delicious salad. Evening meal was very good quality too and reasonably priced. Breakfast had good choices and one of the better on our trip. Would highly recommend as a rural alternative to Alghero and delighted we stayed there, would return.

Footpaths to the accommodation from the carparks and main building would be helpful rather than walking across grass. The pool was very deep at one end for smaller kids. Otherwise was a perfect convenient stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The pool was great, providing a refreshing and enjoyable experience. Additionally, the property is well maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere throughout my visit. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Considering all the other excellent aspects, I expected more from the breakfast. However, the hotel might be less suitable if you don't have your own transportation.

It was like an oasis of peace and quiet, completely surrounded by nature. The pool is amazing, the food is really good. Our host Claudio was very kind and attentive, he made us feel very welcome and we want to thank him for that experience.

The rooms were a bit dated, and the shower was not very clean. Nothing too bothersome.

We were at low season. Tasty breakfasts, helpful and nice personel. Good food in the restaurant at the evenings. Good quility beds with amazing pillows. Spacious parking with a short distance to the hotel.

Would be nice to have paved footpath to drag the suitcases on it.

We returned after an excellent stay last year and it was exactly as we remembered! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are excellent and very clean and the property very well maintained. The pool is amazing, very nice after some trips to archealogical sites in the area. We can also recommend having a meal in the restaurant, delicious food!
