The hotel had everything we required for a relaxing stay. Private beach with more than enough space, good swimming pool and most of all great staff. The restaurant and bar was also very nice, think we tried most of the food on the menu, good quality.

Our room was spotlessly clean, and the staff were very polite and helpful throughout our stay. The car park was convenient, the restaurant served excellent food, and the beach was absolutely amazing — a real highlight of the trip.

The music was extremely loud every evening, continuing until around 23:45, which made it difficult to relax or sleep. Additionally, there was constant noise from restaurant staff moving chairs and tables above our bedroom, often lasting until 1:00 AM. This significantly impacted the quality of our stay, especially for anyone looking for a quiet environment to rest.

We rented an apartment. It had 3 beds, a small kitchen with a microwave, 2 burner stove, and a FULL size refrigerator. We also had our own private patio with a view of the water. The bathroom was also full size. The best air-conditioner in Sicily!

The parking was a bit of a up hill walk carrying groceries and luggage in the heat to our apartment. I don't believe you can bring food into the main resort rooms. The hotel could benefit with a golf cart to shuttle to our room. The apartments were right across from the restaurant, so some night could be a little noisy with music.

The hotel is well designed. All rooms are facing the sea. The rooms are spacious and modern. The rooms are made up every day with impeccable details from the maintenance staff. The hotel has great restaurant for dinners. We recommend the restaurant and the food too. You shouldn't miss it. There are other options to have for a lighter lunch, like panini etc.

Two things can be improved. 1. Breakfast didn't fulfill our expectations. It does not have the same variety as the continental breakfasts usually served in other hotels 2. Terrible Internet connection (referring to the WiFi that is under the hotel control). And you don't get any mobile coverage indoors.

Bad internet Small selection of food for breakfast and every day for 6 days it was the same. Bad sound insulation in general but especially from the restaurant above the room. The staff throw things down the stairs right next to our room because it is obviously easier for them to get all the cleaning equipment down and they shout at 8am. This is unacceptable for any serious hotel that wants to host people on holiday. I asked them to stop doing this, the next morning it was quiet.

Good hotel overall. It was located in quite empty space so without car ther's not much to do except lying at the pool or sea. Staff was rally great and helpfull. Room was clean an spacious. Private (pebble) beach

Hotel located in empty area (no shops, no attractions) - while this can be a good thing it can also be a bad thing. Breakfasts options were quite limited and repeated everyday. There's a restaurant and bar on premises and sometimes they can get crowded when people from outside hotel are attending some ceremonites etc and it can be quite noisy. you can hear music, chatter, chairs moving on the floor

Great pool and situated right on the beach. Good restaurant and beach bar, reasonably priced with a good variety of food on offer. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very scenic and relaxing.

Very expensive to use taxi services and it is too dangerous to walk on the roads to get to the train services. Either stay here with complete R&R in mind or think about/research transport options. Train service is very good but the difficulty is getting to the train station which is only a short distance away but it is expensive to reach it.

With this review, I am hopeful to help you choose your holiday in the best possible way as I am currently staying at the hotel and have been for the past week and a half with the things I am writing being the current state of affairs at the hotel. Who is this hotel for? Well, mainly for people looking for a quiet and peaceful holiday as the hotel is very small and is located at the edge of the long coastline. Also, it is relatively close to the city of Palermo as well as the village of Bagheria and Cefalu so if you rent a car, there are places to visit that are easily accessible (although some people did not recommend driving to Palermo!) The location is absolutely stunning and the beach is very relaxing. Beds are freely available with no prior booking required. The beach is mixed sand with pebbles so beach shoes are a must! If you prefer to not rent a car, a taxi will need to he booked as the station is quite far and there is not a walking route to it. The hotel itself presents visitors with good size modern rooms, comfortable beds and mesmerising views of the sea and the sunset (sea-view room options and pool/ bar/ breakfast room/ restaurant). Staff and cleanliness The staff are extremely helpful and are present (reception available 24/7). Rooms are cleaned regularly and well with the cleaning team doing a great job ( a special thanks to Francesca for her kindness and support!) The hotel staff are eager to help: speak to them should you require anything or have any questions. Towels, beach towels and toiletries are available. The hair dryer does the job too. Bedding is soft and clean. Breakfast Breakfast room is beautiful, spacious and clean, available for lunch and dinner reservations. Breakfast offers a mixture of continental and local food: variety of bakery, cereals, toast, fruit, rice and grilled vegetables, omelette with ham, sausages and bacon, selection of cheeses and meats. A selection of juices and cold drinking water is available.

Points for improvement: 1. Drinking water should be made available to access/purchase freely on the premises- the mini bar offers two small bottles only which is certainly not enough, especially if travelling as a family. 2. For those who do not wish to rent a car - a small shop/ kiosk/ machine with necessities such as toiletries, beach shoes, basic pharmacy, etc would be amazing. 3. The air conditioners could also be modernised as one of ours was quite loud.

This was a gorgeous resort and a perfect location for a family beach vacation. We had just come off of a 10 day plane, train and automobile frenetic journey and all we wanted was to sit by the ocean and swim. The Hotel Sporting Club was exactly what we needed. Our two bedroom apartment was beautiful and the hotel had sweeping ocean views. We enjoyed the free breakfast and camped out on the private beach.

We rented a car so we didn’t encounter this problem, but you NEED to have your own transportation. Once you reach the resort you are pretty much isolated. It was exactly what were we’re looking for. We ate breakfast at the property and dinner at the restaurant that was connected to the hotel. We didn’t leave even though we had transportation. I could see this being a problem for other people.

We stayed at the hotel for the second time now and we loved it! The rooms are great and spacious with the beautiful sea view... The staff is really helpful and kind and they make you feel very welcome! But one thing that we would like to emphasize is the cleanliness of the rooms as well as all the hotel facilities - the cleaning team - Francesca and Mariano - are doing an excelent job of making sure that the hotel is spotless and that every guest has a clean, fragrant room and fresh accessories! We surely hope to come back again! Thank you for another lovely stay!!!
