Staff were exceptional, with helpful information about the town, things around, etc. Location is great -- right in the thick of the town, with a convenicvence store at the foot of one of the elevators. Breakfast was excellent. If you bring a car, heed the emails from Agnes ... you will be driving down the main street fuilled with people but they are used to cars coming up and down. There is a traffic light on the up side and down side ... heed that. Honestily, you can get everyplace on the Amalfi coast by ferry or bus from here. Don't use google maps or Apple maps to walk from Ravello to Amalfi ... read what others have said online. There is a little rooftop space that we did not use at all but which looks cool. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

This part of town is very busy with tourists. Walk north towards the lemon experience and through the tunnel and there are many cool things that are much less busy if you need a break from the hords of people.

The hotel's position is ideal in Amalfi. It's almost next door to the Cathedral, it's in the main street where all the tourists want to visit, shop, eat, drink coffee alfresco. It's what I would call, an Off-Street hotel. It's right in the heart of the main street in Amalfi and is decorated in a very large Italian Villa style, not at all modern. Very comfortable. Other hotels in Amalfi are high up above the sea, have nice sea views, but can be very quiet and don't have the buzz of the main street, within the ZTL traffic free zone.

I've visited Amalfi since the 1990s. It's got a lot busier, and a lot more expensive. Parking is a nightmare. Fortunately, this hotel has it's own garage inside the ZTL zone where you can park overnight.

The location was perfect. It was near everything. The staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious.

I know this is an electric saving method, but you need to insert your room key for the electricity. I don’t mind it, BUT in this case, the AC is also hooked up to this system. This means when you’re out and about, the AC is off. During a hot weather, that means you can’t expect to come home to a nice cool room. It’s going to be slightly cooler than outside until the AC has worked sufficiently to cool the place down.

Located in the center of Amalfi, everything is accessible by foot. Tasty and varied breakfast. Great bed and sound proofing of the outside window. The hotel offers free parking at their garage in Amalfi.

While the sound-proofing of the outside window was great, the sound-proofing of the door (towards the inner corridor is perfectible (especially given the fact that the corridor has hard walls and tiles that echo/amplify the sound).

The breakfast room is absolutely magnificent! Worth staying at the hotel just to eat in the beautiful fresco environment. The hotel is right in the main area of Amalfi, however, it was perfectly quiet. We loved our stay at Hotel Floridiana. Staff also lovely.

Absolutely nothing. Expensive, yes, but so is everything on the Amalfi coastline!

Very nice, quaint, well maintained, clean hotel. Excellent reception. Wonderful and varied breakfast. Very attentive and super friendly hotel staff, which I would like to emphasise. The location of the hotel is right in the centre of Amalfi, everything is within easy reach. Cleaned every day, fresh towels every day. An unforgettable holiday.

Great location, large room, helpful staff.

Could have used more vegetarian options at breakfast, especially savory. Beds are very firm and a bit uncomfortable.

Wow, we loved our stay here. The staff were so welcoming, the rooms were large and comfortable and located within easy walking distance of the ferries and bus station. The lift was helpful and the breakfast was so elegant. We enjoyed their roof deck too! Highly recommend.

Staff was exceptional-- so friendly helpful, and accommodating. We really loved Giuliana, Ilia and Kasun, but they were all delightful. Very nice, clean hotel. Beds were comfortable. Highly recommend LA Floridiana!!

It was a journey to get there!

The hotel is located in the city's center, which is convenient. But it still felt so secluded and quiet. The staff was very helpful. Great breakfast with a lot of variety of food. Great cappuccino! We were given a room upstairs with a full jacuzzi bathtub and a small seating area. It was awesome. There is a rooftop area you can relax in the evenings. We will go back and stay at this hotel.

It is in an old building with two other hotels. So it does feel a little cramped at first. But the whole city is built that way.
