The location is great, the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

This hotel is nice but I wouldn't give it five stars. Breakfasts were basic and mostly sweet (although I understand it's typical Italian) and during the busy hours there were just empty plates. For 5* stars I would expect normal cups in the room, not only paper ones. It's about the details, like small pool area and no free sunbeds. The hotel is nice, but it's not 5*.

Great location by the sea. Away from the busy areas, but a short walk to the shopping area and old town. We arrived early and were able to check into the room early. Excellent breakfast selection. We left before breakfast on the last morning and they provided takeaway breakfast bags.

Complimentary water was not replaced during room service. TV remote did not work very well.

Excellent location. Avoid the traffic by walking around the hotel. There are a couple of caffe’ bars at 3-5 min distance. If you walk for 20 min you reach the shopping area, restaurants or the old town. The view from the hotel is amazing; you can see the sun rise over the sea. Breakfast is exceptional: little croissants filled with different creams, several pies, eggs, sausages, local focaccia, fresh mozzarelle and ricotta, fresh seasonal fruit, cappuccinos, etc. We have always found in our room the little fridge full of beer, fanta, sparkling water, coca cola… and it gets refilled every day! There is vallet service. This may have been our fifth stay in this hotel and we will keep returning!

Reception staff and baggage staff were super lovely. Hotel very nice and room spacious. Pool and rooftop areas very nice too. Reception staff very helpful and thoughtful. Food in restaurant was very good quality

The staff in the rooftop restaurant were very rude and service extremely slow (at dinner on Sunday 21st September). We had to wait 30 minutes to be given a menu, despite booking and the restaurant being half empty. We had to request things (like a menu or wine list) a few times and no luck. We ended up ordering a lot less than planned due to the poor service, which is a shame as the food was delicious

We recently stayed at JR Hotels in Bari, expecting a 5-star experience, but unfortunately, the reality fell a bit short of that rating. While there were definite highlights, several aspects prevented it from truly feeling like a luxury accommodation. On the positive side, the views from the hotel were absolutely stunning. Additionally, the breakfast offered was excellent. There was a wide variety of fresh, delicious options, and the quality of the food was certainly a highlight of our stay.

However, where the hotel missed the mark for a 5-star rating was primarily in the because some areas of the hotel, including our room, showed signs of wear that you wouldn't expect in a luxury establishment. It felt more like a strong 3-4-star hotel rather than reaching the elevated standards associated with a true 5-star property.

The location of the hotel is perfect, the view from the rooms is amazing, the staff is friendly and the service is decent!

It is strange that the bath is in the middle of the room (which is interesting design) but it is strangler that there is no door (which is awkward). What is really annoying is the insufficient sunbeds compared to the holes’ guests. However, this is the single high quality hotel in Bari (as to our knowledge) that has a pool on the roof with amazing view toward the sea and the old city!

We arrived at Hotel at noon and were able to checkin straight away and use pool and facilities. Staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was included in our price which was amazing. lots of choice and lots of tasty Italian options. we were allowed a late check out at 12 and the reception stored our bags whilst we explored Bari old town. They organised a taxi to get me and my friends to the train station. Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay. Thank you to all

They gave me a bigger room and a welcome gift on arrival, which was lovely. The rooftop pool and wellness area was wonderful and made the hot days much more enjoyable.

The restaurant is expensive and not great, so I recommend skipping that. I didn’t really have this experience at the hotel, the town was lovely but it’s pretty obvious the people either don’t like people who don’t speak Italian, gay people or women traveling alone. I am all three and could def tell, which made the relaxing time I had planned much more stressful. Not the hotel’s fault! But I think this should be in a review because if I had read that I might have gone elsewhere.

We have visited Bari, Grand a number of times and we always find your hotel to be excellent! Great people, great amenities, perfect location and much fun! Bravo to all!

My only suggestion, we had requested a superior room, expecting a sea view and the first room, while lovely had no view at all. The staff found us a room with a room and a balcony and it was perfect ! You may wish to be very clear on check in if the room actually has a view!

I never know what to expect with five star hotels in Italy, but in this instance it actually was what I would expect. One afternoon, I left for a half-hour stroll, and when I returned the towels I had just been using had been changed! The room was peaceful - I couldn't hear any traffic noise from the busy street along the promenade. My favourite part of my stay, however, has to be the rooftop pool. It's small (about ten metres by three metres), with a blissful water temperature and a good view towards the sea. For three days in a row I had the pool entirely to myself from around 4pm for a good hour, and it was wonderful.
