The location is great, the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

This hotel is nice but I wouldn't give it five stars. Breakfasts were basic and mostly sweet (although I understand it's typical Italian) and during the busy hours there were just empty plates. For 5* stars I would expect normal cups in the room, not only paper ones. It's about the details, like small pool area and no free sunbeds. The hotel is nice, but it's not 5*.

Great location by the sea. Away from the busy areas, but a short walk to the shopping area and old town. We arrived early and were able to check into the room early. Excellent breakfast selection. We left before breakfast on the last morning and they provided takeaway breakfast bags.

Complimentary water was not replaced during room service. TV remote did not work very well.

We recently stayed at JR Hotels in Bari, expecting a 5-star experience, but unfortunately, the reality fell a bit short of that rating. While there were definite highlights, several aspects prevented it from truly feeling like a luxury accommodation. On the positive side, the views from the hotel were absolutely stunning. Additionally, the breakfast offered was excellent. There was a wide variety of fresh, delicious options, and the quality of the food was certainly a highlight of our stay.

However, where the hotel missed the mark for a 5-star rating was primarily in the because some areas of the hotel, including our room, showed signs of wear that you wouldn't expect in a luxury establishment. It felt more like a strong 3-4-star hotel rather than reaching the elevated standards associated with a true 5-star property.

It is strange that the bath is in the middle of the room (which is interesting design) but it is strangler that there is no door (which is awkward). What is really annoying is the insufficient sunbeds compared to the holes’ guests. However, this is the single high quality hotel in Bari (as to our knowledge) that has a pool on the roof with amazing view toward the sea and the old city!

We arrived at Hotel at noon and were able to checkin straight away and use pool and facilities. Staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was included in our price which was amazing. lots of choice and lots of tasty Italian options. we were allowed a late check out at 12 and the reception stored our bags whilst we explored Bari old town. They organised a taxi to get me and my friends to the train station. Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay. Thank you to all

They gave me a bigger room and a welcome gift on arrival, which was lovely. The rooftop pool and wellness area was wonderful and made the hot days much more enjoyable.

The restaurant is expensive and not great, so I recommend skipping that. I didn’t really have this experience at the hotel, the town was lovely but it’s pretty obvious the people either don’t like people who don’t speak Italian, gay people or women traveling alone. I am all three and could def tell, which made the relaxing time I had planned much more stressful. Not the hotel’s fault! But I think this should be in a review because if I had read that I might have gone elsewhere.

I never know what to expect with five star hotels in Italy, but in this instance it actually was what I would expect. One afternoon, I left for a half-hour stroll, and when I returned the towels I had just been using had been changed! The room was peaceful - I couldn't hear any traffic noise from the busy street along the promenade. My favourite part of my stay, however, has to be the rooftop pool. It's small (about ten metres by three metres), with a blissful water temperature and a good view towards the sea. For three days in a row I had the pool entirely to myself from around 4pm for a good hour, and it was wonderful.

The 2nd room we got was excellent. The breakfast was the best of the 5 hotels we stayed in so far. The view out of the room was also the best of the 5.

We arrived a little tired and late in the day. The room we were giving was next to a larger lanai with 2 potted trees dividing our lanai to that large common use one. I know when I booked on Booking.com specifically picked and paid for the highest priced room and thought this first floor room next to a common area is not what I paid for and not safe. I went down the next morning and have to be very firm with the receptionist to insist of moving us up to a larger room with a private lanai. I get this type of service sometimes and feel because my very Chinese name(Kwan Sui) even though I am totally American, may have been the cause for being treated a little less than a white person.

Fabulous hotel... perfect location for a few days in Bari. Close to the old town, filled with lovely restaurants and bars. A short walk to a lovely beach - the promenade is gorgeous. Short walk to the train station (Marconi) with easy links to Monopoli, Lecce, Ostuni etc... really don't need a car. The breakfast was superb...!! We didn't use the pool or gym but both looked excellent. The room was lovely - huge bed - the view from the balcony was amazing. Overall, absolutely nothing to complain about - we had a lovely 3 days in Bari - and the hotel was just perfect.

Great location, across the street from the Adriatic see , beautiful views, close to old town and city center . People working there were very nice and accommodating.

Rooms look like from Barbie plastic world -mid 50s last century . Ugly colors . Terrible plastic , small and uncomfortable furniture. TV was the size of the shoe box. Tiny refrigerator like from old movies. Bathrooms with broken tiles, dirty, and with stains all over .
