The location is great, the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

This hotel is nice but I wouldn't give it five stars. Breakfasts were basic and mostly sweet (although I understand it's typical Italian) and during the busy hours there were just empty plates. For 5* stars I would expect normal cups in the room, not only paper ones. It's about the details, like small pool area and no free sunbeds. The hotel is nice, but it's not 5*.

Great location by the sea. Away from the busy areas, but a short walk to the shopping area and old town. We arrived early and were able to check into the room early. Excellent breakfast selection. We left before breakfast on the last morning and they provided takeaway breakfast bags.

Complimentary water was not replaced during room service. TV remote did not work very well.

They gave me a bigger room and a welcome gift on arrival, which was lovely. The rooftop pool and wellness area was wonderful and made the hot days much more enjoyable.

The restaurant is expensive and not great, so I recommend skipping that. I didn’t really have this experience at the hotel, the town was lovely but it’s pretty obvious the people either don’t like people who don’t speak Italian, gay people or women traveling alone. I am all three and could def tell, which made the relaxing time I had planned much more stressful. Not the hotel’s fault! But I think this should be in a review because if I had read that I might have gone elsewhere.

I never know what to expect with five star hotels in Italy, but in this instance it actually was what I would expect. One afternoon, I left for a half-hour stroll, and when I returned the towels I had just been using had been changed! The room was peaceful - I couldn't hear any traffic noise from the busy street along the promenade. My favourite part of my stay, however, has to be the rooftop pool. It's small (about ten metres by three metres), with a blissful water temperature and a good view towards the sea. For three days in a row I had the pool entirely to myself from around 4pm for a good hour, and it was wonderful.

The 2nd room we got was excellent. The breakfast was the best of the 5 hotels we stayed in so far. The view out of the room was also the best of the 5.

We arrived a little tired and late in the day. The room we were giving was next to a larger lanai with 2 potted trees dividing our lanai to that large common use one. I know when I booked on Booking.com specifically picked and paid for the highest priced room and thought this first floor room next to a common area is not what I paid for and not safe. I went down the next morning and have to be very firm with the receptionist to insist of moving us up to a larger room with a private lanai. I get this type of service sometimes and feel because my very Chinese name(Kwan Sui) even though I am totally American, may have been the cause for being treated a little less than a white person.

Fabulous hotel... perfect location for a few days in Bari. Close to the old town, filled with lovely restaurants and bars. A short walk to a lovely beach - the promenade is gorgeous. Short walk to the train station (Marconi) with easy links to Monopoli, Lecce, Ostuni etc... really don't need a car. The breakfast was superb...!! We didn't use the pool or gym but both looked excellent. The room was lovely - huge bed - the view from the balcony was amazing. Overall, absolutely nothing to complain about - we had a lovely 3 days in Bari - and the hotel was just perfect.

The room was small for two people. However, the staff did upgrade us to an ocean view room. The services were great, beds comfortable. The hotel is slightly dated but I understand that the decor is based on the history of the hotel. Front desk staff was awesome. On the spot always, friendly, efficient cant say more. I thought the rate was high for the size of the room. The bathroom was very nice, modern. The location is what sells the hotel along with the staff.

Probably the only hotel in Bari offering a comfortable combination for your holidays. Great location close to the beach, shopping street and also the old town. Delicious breakfast with a spectacular sea view. Rooftop pool. professional personel

I dont like the style of the bed. Not sure if this is South Italian standard but I dont like that the duvets miss the linen, instead they are naked in between two sheets which sooner or later puts you in contact with the naked duvet. Also there are two mattresses instead of one big which creates a hole in between and is bad for… things

Almost everything was great, location, staff, facilities, cleanliness, space, breakfast. We loved the location, near the sea, breakfast location was great at 6th floor. Staff were beyond helpful, even though sometimes breakfast area was busy they were very attentive, especially Rosa who was super nice and fast. Room was great and spacious, very clean and very quiet. Overall everything was great

The mattresses were a little too hard for our taste, but this is subjective. The room had a window to an interior area, which is a pity, but it wasn’t that much of a problem.

Such a wonderful abundance of natural light in both the room and the bathroom! I loved leaning out the window to watch the rowers practicing in the sea between shore and the breakwater, or observing the pedestrians enjoying the Lungomare. We thought the location was great for walks in to the old city as well as the center city. I learned about the hotel from a brochure about the NY Metropolitan Museum of Art's tour of Puglia, which was a great recommendation. We appreciated the hotel staff honoring our request for early check-in and a quiet room along the side, away from the road traffic. They were helpful in locating a nearby grocery store for us, and when we requested a taxi to the airport upon our checkout, it arrived in less than two minutes! In short, service was great.

The main floor decor wasn't to my taste, but really that is nothing to complain about.
