The hotel is amazing, everything was wonderful and made our holiday a very enjoyable one. The staff is very polite, knows english very well and can helps you with whatever needed. The hotel seems to be freshly renovated, is very clean and nice with a simple but modern and stylish look. We had a triple room at the second floor, beds were very comfortable, air conditioning, balcony with view in the backyard. The cleaning staff came everyday and made everything shinny 😁. Breakfast was very good and enough, although is more oriented on puff pastry stuff, but you also have available some focaccia, pastry with ham and cheese, omlette, boiled eggs, cheese, ham, salami, vegetables, yogurt, fruits. The coffee is absolutely amazing. (And because i read many comments saying the staff serves you the breakfast, i have to mention that now is a buffet style, you can serve by yourself whatever you want). From hotel to Bari centrale station you can easy have a 10-12 min walk, but also more bus stations are available in 1-2min walk from the hotel.

Beeing in a very hot period of the year, it would have been nice to have a mini-fridge in the room. Still you can buy a soda, beer or something to drink from the reception. If you want to have dinner out, around the hotel aren't options available, there is one restaurant right next to the hotel but i never saw anyone inside during my one week stay - therefor you need to go in the direction of centrale station where all streets are full of life.

The biggest plus was definitely the secure, locked parking spot. Knowing our car was safe gave us real peace of mind, especially as we had luggage and valuables inside. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with all the basics we needed for a short stay. While it wasn’t particularly memorable in other ways, the convenience of having guaranteed parking made it a solid choice for a road trip stopover.

One of the TVs in our room wasn’t working, which was a bit disappointing. There was no iron or ironing board provided, which made getting ready a little tricky. And while breakfast was included, it felt underwhelming—especially the coffee, which unfortunately was pretty terrible.

we had a room in the attic (2nd floor) with a small window; it was ok for us; there are rooms with balcony facing the inner courtyard in 1st floor

If I could give it 6 out of 5 stars I would!! Everything was perfect, full of lots of attention! Everything is new, beautifully clean, cozy, with a delicious scent! All the staff are extremely kind, attentive, they are truly there for the guests and this is true for anyone working in any unit of the hotel! ❤️ Air-conditioned rooms, with mosquito nets, balconies and there is also a super inner courtyard, what is very cozy in the evening. ☺️ And the breakfast… we loved the breakfasts!! Heavenly! And the coffee… I really miss that divinely delicious morning coffee here, at home! ☺️

Everything was perfect!

Hotel Moderno strikes a perfect balance between smart technology, modernity, and refined design. The reception area instantly lifts your mood with its warm and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are impeccably clean, spacious, and exceptionally well laid out and optimized. As for the breakfast it is absolutely outstanding: generous, thoughtfully curated, varied, and suited to all tastes and dietary preferences. While savoring the delicious pain au chocolat and unlimited coffee, take a moment to observe the dedication, professionalism, friendliness, helpfulness, and meticulousness of the entire team ,it’s a true performance worth admiring. Hats off to the whole team for keeping the buffet constantly replenished, beautifully arranged, and incredibly appetizing at all times.

Room was a good size and the Bathroom was also a good size. Location was about 10 minutes from the train station and about 30 minutes to the old town. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast with cold meats and cheeses, coffee and juice, boiled eggs, bread rolls and pastires. It was adequate if not a bit bland but it did the trick.

Was expensive but all of Europe seems to be the same this year.

Big and confortable rooms, heated (was very important for my lady in December). This accomodatiom is 10 minutes walk away from the Central Station an another 10 minutes from the City Centre. They have a parking place, which in that area is more than ussesfull. Breakfast is buffet but it is verry interesting that a lady serves you with all what you need (in this way they reduce a lot the food waste).

They should integrate the cost of parking in the price of accomodation or to let you know from the beggining that this service is not included. By the way, the parking place it is a must and it is more than apreciatted.

from the first moment we arrived we were impressed by how beautiful the reception area is. Then we met Jovanna who was very smiling, kind, helpful and willing to help us. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The common areas are also very nice, you can sit and drink your coffee in the courtyard. The breakfast was very nice. Before we left, we were lucky enough to meet Jovanna and she was again so smiling and helpful. I will gladly come back!!

I would like there to be more savory options at breakfast but that's purely my issue

Location wise: relatively close to Bari central station in a non touristy neighbourhood with good local restaurants and shops in the area. However, it is a good 20 minute walk to the town centre and probably another 20 to the old town where the church of Saint Nicholas is located. The hotel has a large open air car park located around the corner from the hotel with direct access to the back of the building. If you are coming by car and using the ferries to Greece or Albania, it is easy to get to and from the port and the motorway. We stayed in a triple room which was excellent in that the single bed was in a separate area with a sliding door. The room had an industrial chic design and was comfortable for 3 adults. Unfortunately, due to a mix up with the ferry company, we were unable to spend the night and review breakfast. Hotel is in an old factory and has been beautifully restored showing off its industrial past. Reception was welcoming and helpful. I will definitely be staying here next time I come to Bari.

I liked about everything in the hotel. Our room was really big, so was the bathroom and the beds were comfortable, not too soft and not too hard. The breakfast was adequate but partly not self-service, i.e. you occasionally had to queue a bit to get what you want.

The location is not good for a tourist. There are now restaurants near by open before evening, as there are in the Old Town. The distance to Old Town is not that big, but too much to walk on daily basis and the public transport in Bari works on scale from 1 to 10 as about 6. Taxi to railway station, which is rather central, about 10 euros.
