The B&B was immaculately clean, Gerry made sure to make us feel welcome. The location is fantastic as it's right in the centre of things, and within walking distance of all the major attractions & shops. The breakfast is simple but good. This B&B is good value for money especially considering the location.

The Pillows! are too thin and soft, but we're not going to fault them as it's our personal preference. Neighbours were a bit noisy. There is no kettle in the room, but we could use one in the shared kitchen.

This was already our second time at Room56 & it was just as wonderful as we had remembered it. Really clean rooms, AC worked perfectly, balcony faced the really bright courtyard. 10min walk to the train station, for people like us travelling by train that’s just perfect. Bari Vecchia is just 5-10min away by foot as are the harbour and the promenade. Endless possibilities within 2-3min for an Aperol Spritz or delicious food. Staff: some of the nicest people I’ve ever encountered. Always available via WhatsApp & really, really friendly.

Maybe a shower screen for the bathtub, but it was really not a big problem for us.

Very good location, clean, comfortable modern room with a balcony. Pretty quiet at night despite the central location. Immaculately clean. Michele was responsive on WhatsApp. [Google Maps showed Room56 across the street and around the corner from where we actually needed to be. On arrival, we parked/paused illegally on the corner by motorcycle parking while I WhatsApp called Michele who came down to meet us. My husband stayed with the car while I went up with Michele to drop off our luggage so we could explore the city prior to check-in after returning our rent car to the train station. The women's clothing store Nasti Srl (Via Abate Giacinto Gimma, 56) is next door and I used that address for Room56 thereafter.] The bed and bedding were comfortable. We enjoyed a snack and sipping wine at the balcony table and chairs. Guests can use the communal fridge to store food and there are Post-Its and a pen provided so you can tag your things with your room number. Drawers in the communal kitchen are locked, so there aren't any utensils, etc. available to use except a breakfast time. Continental breakfast was fine and the second cup of excellent cappuccino was greatly appreciated. We had a nighttime flight so also appreciated being able to leave our luggage after check-out until time to go. The breakfast lady arranged a taxi for us which arrived promptly at the requested time.

Not a big deal, but the water system in the bathroom made some really odd and loud noises when running the water or flushing the toilet. (Ours was Room 3.) It sounded like groans or heavy chairs being pushed across the floor. It was more funny than anything, but I did worry that it might bother the neighbors. On seeing the layout of the neighboring room (Room 4, more a suite set-up), I don't think it would, but just thought I'd mention. The building elevator feels a bit rickety, but it did the job which is important as Room56 is located on the 7th floor.

Our flight to Bari was delayed so we arrived a little late but Michele was very obliging and was there to greet us at 2300 (good, quick communication via WhatsApp prior to arrival). The room was spacious, modern and clean and there were separate shared facilities with a fridge where we could make a coffee and where breakfast was served in the morning (by a very obliging lady). Central location.

Accommodation description did not state all rooms were on the 7th floor (albeit with a small cranky elevator). Room was perfectly acceptable but pretty basic for the price and we found the bed a little too firm - but accept that is personal preference. Parking was offered but we thought €30 for a less than 12 hour stay was expensive so chose a public car park a 10 min walk away.

We loved the location and the spaciousness of this place. It was incredibly cleaned. The breakfast was good, too.

We are always split on properties. My husband loves connectivity, but Wi-Fi interacts with my current high load of viruses so that I'm often subject to stomach aches or headaches. We try to find a place with limited Wi-Fi for that reason, but unfortunately, this was around a lot of neighbors that also had it.in the ideal for both of us, a connection using a wire that is fast and reliable would be great.

We had a large room with a balcony about a 10 minute walk from Bari Vecchia and the Lungomare. It's on a floor with other rooms and a shared kitchen area. We were only there for one night and had to leave very early in the morning, so we did not experience the breakfast, but it was a comfortable stay and the host kindly arranged a taxi for us to the airport.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Room 56 was very pleasant. It was in a perfect location to walk through Bari and Murat, close to all shopping, restaurants and cafes. The room was very spacious and had a great balcony overlooking the streets. Quite high with decent views. There is an elevator which was great for luggage. We were also able to advise when we would be arriving and checked in early. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Parking is very difficult and streets are very busy. But it’s to be expected in a busy city.

We were met by our host even though it was midnight due to our flight being delayed. He could not have been nicer or more helpful in assisting us with parking in a secure garage close by and helping us to our room. He also helped us find a local tyre repair firm when we had an issue with our rental car. The accommodation was very well situated and spotless.

It was nice and the breakfast was good, but the shower was really small and the parking was either parking garage for $30 a night or find a spot on the street, which after looking for a while we were able to find.

No actual free parking. We were there on a Saturday night and the place was crawling with people. If you’re a party person this might be your jam, but not for us.

Our room was really comfy, nice and tidy. The check-in went without complications even though we had a delayed arrival. Everything went smoothly.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. It was relatively small area for all the hotel guests and the choice for food and beverages was rather limited. Eggs, cornflakes or fruits would have been nice but that’s what I felt (maybe because I am a big breakfast guy 😀)
