This place is a real gem – we couldn’t have chosen better! Mrs. Agata, the owner, is a wonderful, warm, kind, and incredibly friendly person. From the very first moment, we felt like we were visiting good friends. We were welcomed by Mrs. Agata’s husband, who is just as kind and welcoming, confirming that we had found a truly special place. The apartment is in a perfect location – everything is close by, yet the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. Cleanliness is top-notch; it’s clear the owners put a lot of heart into maintaining the place. Breakfasts are delicious – fresh, varied, and there’s definitely something for everyone. We also highly recommend this place for families with children. We stayed here with our little son, and the owners always greeted him with big smiles and made sure he felt comfortable and happy. We’d give more than a 10 if we could – if you’re looking for a place with heart, warmth, and a homey atmosphere, this is it!

This was a delightful, well-located, genuine family-run little B&B occupying a few rooms and one large suite in an old palazzo converted into a a modern mixed-use building in downtown Bari. Seven minutes’ walk from Bari Centrale station (much of it through an appealing park/series of nicely planted and landscaped squares abutting the university), not much farther from the old town and waterfront, and very near a pedestrianized high street with diverse and largely fashionable shopping and some nice cafés. The father, mother, and son team who run the place were exceedingly helpful, conscientious, and friendly, and the breakfast buffet is as good as suggested by other reviews. The suite had what looked like a brand-new, high-end bathroom (great shower), and fittings and finishings overall were stylish and spotless.

We had zero complaints. But some may find the face of the building, the lobby, and the stairs less impressive than the rooms themselves, which are far brighter and more thoroughly modernized. It looks better from within than without, basically, although we actually liked the exterior and hallways just fine. And the street may be somewhat busy and hard to park on for anyone trying to arrive by car, but it’s not loud, and we managed to drop off outside without incident.

It was hard to find. This was our first time in Italy and we were looking for an address on the outside of the building.

What a wholesome stay with Agata and her son Marco. The property is beautiful, very boutique. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. We stayed three in a room with a fold out couch - all very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast Is OUTSTANDING! So lovely to wake up to fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pastries, charcuterie and eggs. The location is a 5-10min walk to station and Bari Vecchia, the port and 20min to the beach. Right in the centre of a great shopping and restaurant district. The warmth and hospitality of Agata is second to none - a beautiful lady. We greatly appreciated assistance on our final morning when our train to Venice was canceled, and organising a cab to the airport. Thank you Agata!

I booked my stay the day before arriving. This is the best b&b hotel I have stayed and my family travel all over the world. This property is exceptional for quality, style and value for money Location 10/10 - perfect location to explore Bari and beyond, short walk to the train station and bus. We used both. Breakfast 10/10 - Delicious selection of breakfast, freshly cooked eggs. Italian pastries were my favourite. Room comforts 10/10 - The rooms are stylish, spacious, clean, nice mini bar and the bathroom facilities and shower are comparable with a 5 star hotel. Friendly/ safe 10/10 - The owners of Bari102 are wonderful, I was travelling alone with my two children, they treated us like family. Guests are welcomed and treated with exceptional warmth and kindness. Their attention to detail and communication with guests before and during the stay is what I appreciated most. They allowed us to check in early, helped carry our luggage upstairs, provided information for visiting local towns and beaches, and loaned me a charger. I will be recommending this place to friends, it’s the best place to stay in Bari.

We received excellent and warm welcome from Agata and her family. Her breakfast is marvelous. Lots of variety to choose from. Most of all, Agata tries her best to communicate with us in English. Even though she has limited English ability, she gets her son to help translate for her or she engages us with google translate :). Love her and her family for being such excellent host. Love the location. This property sits just behind Via Sparano, their shopping belt. The unit that we were put in was one of the biggest room from her. The ceiling was tall within this suite, beautiful lightings were used to display the charm of the italian dome ceiling. I must say Agata have good taste to use good illuminators for her room. I will definitely return back to visit her if i do get a chance to visit Bari again.

There is nothing that we didn't like at all! An excellent 2 nights we had.

We loved our stay here. The apartment is in a very nice part of town and it’s easy to find from the station. Entrance is via a stairway but it wasn’t difficult for us. We travel with hand luggage only. Marco greeted us at the door and was very welcoming. The apartment is magnificent. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s modern but has been decorated in a considered style that is very stylish. Our room,number 3 was very spacious and extremely comfortable. The bed, pillows and fabulous bathroom were above our expectations. Agata our host is sn excellent cook and our breakfast was delicious. A cooked breakfast was available but we didn’t need it as the buffet selections were more than enough. The coffee was the best we’ve had so far. Netflix was a great distraction after a delicious meal in the town.

Absolutely nothing.

We booked this property because we have never stayed in a hotel with a perfect 5/5 rating on Google and wanted to see if it lived up. And my god, it did! and then went beyond it. Everything about bari 102 is perfect. The location is fabulous - right in the heart of the city center but also very close to the station (very handy as we took many day trips from Bari). The rooms are gigantic and the bedsheets are the best we have slept on. We have travelled extensively in Europe and stayed in many 5 star hotels but Bari 102 steals the show. We booked the suite room - it had two basins, a very high tech shower area, robes, toiletries etc. It's a huge bathroom with a separate living area and a separate bedroom. It's like having a luxury house. They cleaned our rooms spotlessly every single day. The breakfast is amazing - the best quality cold cuts, juices, fresh fruits etc. The room even had a beautiful balcony. Lastly, but most importantly - it's impossible to stay at Bari 102 and not fall in love with Agata and her son Marco. Agata should teach the big hotel chains how hospitality should be done cause she's an absolute pro at managing this property. She is kind and makes you feel super welcome. I'm currently in talks with separating from my mother and checking if Agata will adopt me. Haha. Just joking. Basically, yes Bari 102 was totally worth the hype. It's worth every penny.

10/10 is an understatement. This is by far one of the BEST B and Bs I have ever been to!It is perfect in every way. First of all, the hosts are the nicest and most genuine people! They truly take such pride in offering comfort and top notch experiences. The building feels extremely safe and secure. The rooms are so spacious and impeccably kept! The decor is modern and everything is so tastefully decorated. It has a comfortable mattress with premium bedding and towels. The soaps seem to be of luxurious European quality. And, there were other unexpected items like slippers, a toothbrush kit, a fridge stocked with a variety of beverages, a Nespresso coffee machine and little treats here and there. There are plenty of tables/shelves to put things on, chairs to sit, hangers, a closet, excellent lighting and blackout doors. The air conditioning worked and allowed for a most comfortable stay! It is so close to absolutely everything! As soon as I arrived, I wished I had booked longer! The breakfast spread had everything your heart could desire for breakfast. It was abundant!!!! All B and Bs need to take note of how this one is run! I enjoyed my stay here so much and am sincerely grateful.

Agata and her family are the most amazing hosts I have ever stayed with!! They were so kind and helpful! They helped us book taxis, find restaurants, got us water bottles, and had a fully stocked mini fridge everyday! Agata responded so quickly every time we texted her, and she was so helpful! The rooms and bathrooms were HUGE! (Not something you always find in Europe). Everything was decorated beautifully and updated! The breakfast was amazing! Such a large spread of food, and they offered to make eggs every morning! The location was fabulous! Very central location for both the train station and the old town! We used Bari as our home base for day trips to all the surrounding cities and we couldn’t have found a better place to stay than Bari 102!
