Very convenient location, close to the main train station, from which you can reach various towns along the coast, and close to the train from/to the airport. Decent rooms (basic, but nice and clean). You can store your luggage at the reception desk before check-in and after check-out, which was a huge plus for us.

The neighbourhood looks a bit shady at night. The cleaning staff is very loud in the morning (for example, at 8 a.m. we could hear multiple calls on the intercom between cleaners on different floors, moving furniture in an empty room next to the room where we were staying etc.). However, for those who are planning to leave the room early morning anyway, this should not be a problem.

Everything was perfect. The location is ideal—just a two-minute walk from the railway station and only a minute from the main pedestrian area with all the shops. The hotel was spotless, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. They also offer convenient baggage storage both before check-in and after check-out. The only things that would have made the stay even better are a small fridge and a coffee maker in the room—both would be very useful additions.

Nothing—everything was just fine.

Situated 5-7 min walking from Bari Central station, 10 min walking to the bus to Alberobello, 10-15 min walking to the city center/Bari old town. Room was small but enough for a couple, it was cleaned daily, has an AC, TV, spacious bed, bathroom, dresser. There are a lot of restaurants near by.

There is no fridge in the room and no ironing machine. Also there is only one outlet in all room. This is situated next to the bed and it accepts only plugs with thin pins (we could charge our phones but we couldn't use our ironing machine as it had thick pins, so we used the outlet from the bathroom).

I arrived late at night, so the location of the hotel near the train station was convenient, although of course the location is not the best for solo travelers. The receptionist was pleasant, everything was fine. My room had everything I needed, it was clean, it had a nice bathroom, plenty of space; adequate for the price.

It was a bit difficult to find the hotel, there was no sign on the building, had to use map. :-D Not very comfortable mattress; strange smell in room but A/C helped.

The location of the hotel was perfect for me: only a short walk from the railway station (I travel by train and took several day trips by train) and a pleasant, easy walk to the old town (Bari Vecchia) and the waterfront. My room was comfortable and suited my needs with a large table, a firm bed and sufficient storage space. A blind made the room completely dark – great for a good night’s sleep -, and the room was mostly very quiet. The person manning the reception desk in the afternoons was particularly friendly and helpful. - I even extended my initial 3-night stay to an extra night to see more of the fascinating region.

Only con: The hotel does not offer breakfast. However, there are plenty of eateries nearby

Location is very good - 5min from the main train station and most of the busses and 2 min from one of the main shopping streets. 10min leisure walk to the historic center. A lot of shops and restaurants around. The hotel staff is awesome everyone is so friendly, understanding, always available. Room was clean, spatious, comfortable. In fact this was the cleanest bathroom i have ever been in.

Only 1-2 things inside the room - one of the drawers was a bit broken, but not a big deal. Just pinned in my eye becauase everything in the room was perfect.

The staff from Reception to Chamermaids were excellent, very professional, helpful, and friendly, Located just a short walk from the station and within walking distance of the main attractions, not a attractive building but once inside the room was nice and done the job

From the outside, it looks shabby, and unwelcoming could do with a bit of paint , The location was busy and could be loud at night

Great air conditioning, much needed in Bari in August. Comfy beds and good bathroom. Plenty of space. Nice and quiet, helpful friendly staff with 24 hr reception. Easy to find on arrival at train station, very amusing old fashioned lift. Also close to shopping and bus terminus.

Strange 'balcony' door only bottom half opened. Slightly unsafe area despite good proximity to train station. Great big room with very small TV. Bedside lights no good for reading.

This was our second time staying at Hotel Costa. We even stayed at the same room as last time :) The service is still at high level. Definitely would recommend the place to anyone who wants to stay in Bari for a few days. The staff is friendly and always smiling and happy to help (they even remembered us from our previous stay). The room itself is cozy, cleaned every single day and it has all you need for your stay (toiletries, towels, hangers, AC, big closet etc.). The location is super convenient - close to the central bus and train station as well as to the main shopping street of Bari. There are a lot of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Very responsive and kind staff, they helped with all questions. The room is small, but very cozy and clean (cleaning every day). The location is ideal - close to the railway station, as well as a bus stop for Matera, Alberobello. There are many cafes within walking distance where you can drink coffee and eat very delicious picella or pastchitela. The old town is also nearby. We walked to Pane e Pomodoro beach in 30 minutes, for us it was a great walk. Thanks for a great stay!

Perhaps the only thing we missed was a small refrigerator. But even this did not affect our holiday.
