Delicious food, Amazing view

Loved the pool and sauna facilities after a day of walking. Helpful communication with hosts including sending over links to get free car access pass to the Lago di Braises area for the duration of the stay. Close to the lake so we were able to get there for sunrise before all other tourists and back in time for breakfast. Wonderful evening meal with multiple course and a great breakfast. So worth spending a little extra to stay here.

The food (breakfast) und dinner was really tasty, great variety. The staff was super friendly & helpful. We also enjoyed the SPA a lot, very nicely made; unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy it as much as we wanted as it closes at 7pm in time for dinner.

Nothing, but if you want to be more central to see different regions/parts of the Dolomites, better to be closer to Cortina D’Ampezzo. Location is perfect for Pragser Wildsee & Tres Cime but not for the other parts like Val Gardena or Tofana.

The staff is great, the building is clean and comfortable (unless the weather is over 80 degrees), the location is great, the food is plentiful.

No air conditioning during the hot summer months can be stifling. Thankfully, our room had a large glass door onto the deck we could open for airflow. Unfortunately, our neighbors like to smoke a lot and the cigarette smoke would come into the room. The walls are also a bit thin and it is very easy to hear your neighbors talking, so bring a white noise machine if you are noise sensitive.

The location was incredible. You are a 12 minute drive to Lake Braise where you can enjoy a nature walk around one of the most iconic lakes in Italy. What really made this trip for me was the location to hike the dolamites. Cathrine, an employee/ daughter of the owner, educated me on a hike to Monte Serla. I was able to hike from the property to the peak. It was about a 6 hr hike with incredible views. If you enjoy Hiking this is a great location! I also was incredibly impressed by the hospitality here. The staff, Regina and Adela, were incredibly kind at meals. The owner, Rudolf, credited me dinner both nights after mistakenly paying for a room for 2 people. Cathrine provided my hiking itinerary and made sure I didn’t get lost. Lastly, I had to leave early on the last day and they went to the trouble to offer making me breakfast the night before so I would have food my travel back! They went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable and make sure I felt cared for. I will definitely stay again!

Similar to most places in the mountains in Europe. There was not air conditioning in the room or black out curtains. If you are a traveling American who needs a cold and dark room, you may find this to disrupt your sleep. I found that the temperature in the mountains was much cooler at night if you open your windows so this didn’t impact my sleep. I also brought an eye mask so the little bit of light was not a problem for me. But, I can see how it may impact some individuals. That said, I still believe this was my most comfortable stays in the Dolamites after living here as an American for almost 5 years. You have all the amenities that you need, fridge, television, robes, soap, shampoo, hot water…. Great place and worth the stay!

The breakfast buffet is extraordinary - we enjoyed alot the "golden hands" of the Mally doing the massage - we liked the internal swimming pool - spent a good time in the hot sauna - and enjoyed an extensive dinner every evening. The owners are running their business in an excellent way: being around all the time and hands-on. We love the place being so quiet in terms of noise and passage, though being very accessible.

amazing location. some rooms are modern with updated bathrooms and a balcony that overlooks a field and the mountains.

not all rooms have been updated and are thus very outdated. some room balconies overlook the parking lot. hotel amenities do not meet criteria for 4 stars.

This hotel is very well appointed and in a pleasant and quiet location. The staff are particularly welcoming and friendly and both the breakfast buffet and evening dinner are simply outstanding with an amazing range of delicacies. Its position within the Braies valley might not suit everyone because in July and August you need a car permit (which is free and straightforward to get). But I wouldn't let this put you off because it's peaceful and very close to the start of many of the best hikes at Lago de Braies and Pratopiazza. To give some idea of the helpful staff, I was arriving in the dark and got lost when, unannounced, the receptionist phoned to ask if I needed assistance - amazing service! The entire stay of five nights was most enjoyable.

No disappointing features at all. The evening meal was amazing but with so many courses I had to skip some of them to keep in shape!

Loved the food. Very generous and delicious. Beautiful presentation and staff were attentive and kind. The rooms were so clean and the bus to the trails 5 min walk down the road.

Quiet hotel in beautiful surroundings. Lovely staff, including the lovely owner. Perfect breakfast and dinner. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return again. Thank you.
