A very special place to stay to enjoy the charm of Scopello. A real passionate family hotel built by her parents. Perched on the ridge it has beautiful sunrise views over the Tuna factory historical site. The room had that vintage Sicilian charm having been made by hand with colourful tiles. The location is ideal for strolling into the main square for morning treats or dinner. Great restaurants nearby. Checkin And checkout super easy.

This hotel is in a prime location in town with view of both the mountains & sea. Stones throw from the main square, Tonnara di Scopello and bus stops. The staff were absolutely divine, and the breakfast & dinners looking directly down to the ocean were a treat. Had the best pasta alla Norma of my life.

The beach club next door had blaring house music playing until about 10.30pm one night, and was hard to get a sense from staff when it would end/if it would be regular. You can’t hear it from the rest of town so worth getting a meal elsewhere if that happens. Wasn’t loud the remainder of my stay so figure there was an event on.

Breakfast was superb, continental style. Plenty of options. Room was comfortable and balcony had a great view. Staff were always helpful and pleasant. Lots of little restaurants even in May.

Buses outside peak summer are few and far between. We discovered that the bus we were waiting for only ran in July/August when it didn’t turn up, and ended up having to take an expensive taxi from Castelldelamare (obviously not the hotel’s fault) so beware.

The hotel has an excellent location overlooking the sea in the charming village of Scopello. The foyer areas and my room were attractive and comfortably furnished. The staff are competent, friendly and were always available.

I didn’t choose a room with a sea outlook which I regret. My friends had one of those and the view is an unobstructed, beautiful panorama. There wasn’t much to see from my room on the other side. The owners have invested in updating various features which were appreciated. However, they seem to think it’s ok to leave some flaws as they are. My hotel room door was difficult to unlock so I needed help from the reception staff to open it. Also, the glass shower walls couldn’t be closed to prevent water flowing onto the bathroom floor. These flaws were surprising considering the cost of the room.

We stayed 2 nights in Torre Bennistra and we loved everything. From the kindness of the lady at the desk as soon as we arrived (who, for my surprise, spoke fluently English) to all the details. The room was ready so we had an early check-in. Inside it was spacious, the AC worked perfectly, clean and the view was a delight to wake up every morning to. It is a family run business and you can feel at home. Location is also ideal, with a breathtaking sea view from the restaurant, which we didn’t try but breakfast was also very complete. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Scopello. 💛

Nothing we didn’t like. The decor is a bit dated but it’s part of the charm of this place.

Beautiful views, comfortable rooms and good restaurant. Also only a few minute walk from the other restaurants and bars in Scopello. The big parking lot just south of the ZTL/main square gave us a discount since we were staying at the hotel, 2 day and nights for €16 instead of €20, and we could come and go as we wanted.

Shower drain was blocked so didn’t drain properly, but that was the only problem!

We booked our room to overlook the Tonnara Di Scopello and sadly this was not the view we got, we had the room off to the side. When questioned the hotel told us that it still “has a sea view” which was mostly the hotel next door, dirt/gravel below and the mountains. The view was still good but we came all the way to scopello and didn’t get what we paid for. The shower is tiny!

I liked the ambiance the absence of ultra modern lines. The bathroom was beautifully tiled in wonderful colours. Around the walls were authentic paintings in different styles, not the usual boring hotel pictures. The views from the breakfast terrace were unimaginably beautiful. My room was spacious and the best bed I’ve slept in. Everything was up to date while also being Sicilian. I wish I could have stayed longer to explore the surroundings and the beaches.

Sad that the restaurant was closed. I heard it was very good and it was still on booking.com website.

This hotel has a fantastic location overlooking the water. Our room had an incredible view and was very comfortable. The tiles in our bathroom and bedroom were beautiful. It’s a hotel that has been in the family for generations and although it could use some updating it is old world and authentic. The breakfast was so so and an additional fee.

It could use some updating and more breakfast choices.

Lovely room with view over the hills and part of the coast. Good size room and massive bed. Well appointed bathroom. Hotel has an excellent position in the heart of Scopello. Staff friendly but with limited English not that this is expected or an issue. Useful advice given of where to park close by for free.

Being picky the room could have been a little cleaner. A lot of dust under the bed and in one of the drawers which also contained part of a broken piece of furniture. It would have been nice to try the restaurant but it was closed as our visit was out of season.
