We chose this property as we had a very early flight. We also had to find a gas station and return our rental car. The property is just minutes from the airport and run by a very nice family. There is parking and a light breakfast available if there is time! The bed is quite comfortable.

There are few places to eat dinner in the immediate area and none that can be walked to. There is a pizzeria nearby that we drove to and was quite good. Do not be fooled by appearances! The only real negative was that we had no hot water in the shower in the morning. It did finally come on but only after a lot of water wasted!

The stay was exactly what I needed for one night near the airport. I needed a place when my plane was to arrive late in the evening. Federica left instructions for a late check in. The room was very clean and Federica made sure my check out was flexible with holding bags whilst I rented a car from the airport. She was very communicative. The roads out of the airport are difficult to walk because there is no sidewalk. This is a problem with the airport and not the BnB. You need to just walk on the side of the road and it is a short 10min walk to the BnB from the airport. Thanks for the stay.

We chose this accommodation for its location -- we wanted to stay close to the airport as we had an early morning flight the next day. It's only around a 2-3 minute drive to the airport. The staff was very helpful and kind, the room was comfortable and spacious.

The apartment is very close to the airport and located on a very busy road, so it's quite noisy. The bed was a bit soft for our liking, but this is a matter or preferences. Our plan was to hand in the rental car the night before our trip home, but since there are no sidewalks leading from the apartment to the airport, we decided to keep the car until the morning so we could drive to the airport. So this should be considered, walking there with suitcases really isn't recommended.

Very close to Catania airport and all basics covered. Checking in was straightforward and there was a good selection of coffee and cereals for a quick breakfast before I left. The room and bathroom were clean and were exactly what I needed for another before my flight.

The flush in the bathroom didn’t work after the first time and the walls are very thin so you can hear talking from other rooms but the host was quick to remedy the problem.

Federica was very warm & welcoming. She was quite flexible with our check in time, we had several changes on our part and she was communicative and flexible. Great recommendation for Pizza at "The Simpsons". Helped up arrange a taxi for 4:00 am pickup. Coffee and light snacks were made available to us due to our early hour departure, this was greatly appreciated.

The location is very close to airport but not really walkable as there is no pedestrian sidewalk and traffic is a bit fast to be walking to the airport with luggage. The ride to the airport was only 12 Euro, so not really a big deal. Bus stop is located just across the street.

The reason we chosen this unit is the location, close to the airport. The owner was so nice to give us all the info while we stayed, and she also booked shuttle for us as we need catch early flight. The place was so spacious and clean, has everything you asked for, there is also a snack bar around. It is close to airport with walking distance around 15 mins however it might be a challenge to walk during the dark. Overall we had a great stay.

From the moment I arrived, Frederica was incredibly helpful. The location is very close to the airport but outside of the city. With Frederica's helpful, I got on a bus and was at the location in 10 mins without a problem. Bedroom was huge. Bathroom very nice. Bedroom was a little harder than preferred. But my stay was wonderful thanks to Frederica going above and beyond.

good bus routes, wonderful host. Relatively close to the airport, but not accessible by foot. Breakfast was complimentary, and the host had offered plenty of advice to help me get on my feet.

Location with respect to the city (which is not controllable) but would also like a separate map for exploring around the area (in case the host is not available, or the traveler has no car.

We chose this hotel for the first couple of days because it seemed close to the airport and we wanted to reach it by foot immediately after landing. It really is close, and we reached it by foot fast (in about half an hour). But be aware that the roads have zero pedestrian infrastructure so it is a very unpleasant and potentially risky walk. The ALIBUS, which you can take straight form the terminal, passes right in front of the hotel, and the more budget-friendly 524 bus does too but you have to take it from a street parallel to the airport access. The hotel is also not far from Catania's sand beaches. Host told us there is no easy way to access them by foot but she just didn't want us to have a bad first impression about the city. Reaching the beach by foot is possible: you have to enter an abandoned mall parking lot, find a not-particularly-obvious entrance to the park nearby, traverse the park to the opposite end (find the small pond), and from a private street parallel to Kennedy road follow the beachgoers that have parked their cars near the aforementioned park :) All in all 20 minutes of walk, entirely manageable. Going to the center by foot is also possible via the Kennedy road, but the distance is noticeable. We chose to ride the 524 bus – 10 to 20 minutes to the center depending on the traffic. Now to the hotel itself. It looks like a soul project of the hosts: everything is cozy and calm, there is a small amount of rooms, which ensures privacy and silence. The kitchen area has decent appliances; we almost didn't even need to go for a breakfast in the city! The room was spacious, with a modern and powerful AC. Bed was decent. Bathroom was clean, spacious, a bit dark but overall pleasant. A couple of restaurants and a tabaccheria are active nearby, enough for a basic lunch/dinner and a bus ticket.

Like I mentioned, the location is not idyllic; the hotel is surrounded by endless car parking lots, and it is not trivial to move around without a car. But entirely manageable anyway. City center is not close at all. Nearest supermarket is closer, but also not particularly accessible without transportation. No views to speak of (if you needed that), don't expect to sip your drink while admiring either Etna or the sea. Occasionally loud vehicles on the adjacent busy road can interrupt the silence.

Very friendly, accomodating staff. The proximity to the airport was perfect. The booked shuttle for our 4am departure was very much on time. We were also given an excellent recommendation for a restaurant in Catania. Happy all-around. Thank you, Federica!

Nothing negative to report. For us, who don't mind walking, the B&B could have been walking distance from and to the airport. Sadly, there were no viable sidewalks to make this safe. That's not the fault of the B&B, of course, just keep this in mind in case you are planning to walk that mile.
