The B&B is stunning and the room was really comfortable and spacious for our family of 4. Great breakfast offered and Toto gave some fantastic tips and advice about the local area. Gorgeous pool area too, great for cooling off after the city. We really loved Catania - beautiful city and amazing food. We walked into the city once from the B&B, my children didn't particularly enjoy the walk - so we took the bus there and back the rest of the time which was super easy and very quick, so location was no issue at all for us. In fact the location is the reason that there is space for a beautiful pool and also the B&B is such good value for money.

The property was modern, clean, quiet, and in a compound that included a swimming pool, and a small sitting area in a garden area. It was a really calming and enjoyable environment. The owner of the B&B and his wife were exceptional hosts. The owner, Toto, was extremely knowledgeable about the area and things to do and things to watch out for. The location is extremely close to the beaches, which we did not care about, but it also had very good access to some excellent local supermarkets with very reasonable wines and foods, so if you didn’t feel like eating out, you didn’t have to. The B & B is a very short drive to the center of town, and about a three or 4 mile drive, eight minutes or so, to the Catania Airport. The B&B has a very secure private parking area, which was nice because we had a rental car.

Nothing. The property was exactly as advertised.

Pristine in every way. Bedroom, common areas, pool area, chill areas and breakfast rooms were excellent. Cars are securely parked behind electronic gates. Buses run into the city centre cheaply and frequently. The making of a little canoli on request by Toto at breakfast was lovely, as is he and his family. Nothing is too much trouble for them. He takes time to explain how to find the best places in Catania and gives you a map which he writes on as he explains which is a great personal touch. Thoroughly recommended

The location is about a 20 minute walk from the centre but you walk either along a very busy road or through a quite insalubrious area, not suitable to be traversed at night. Buses run very close though, so this isn't an issue.

We wanted a stylish, clean, comfortable stay close to the airport for a morning flight, and we couldn't have chosen better. Lovely room, beautiful b&b, sadly we didn't have time to use the beautiful pool. Yes, the area is run down but I challenge you to find a location in a busy city right by the airport that isn't! We drove into Catania in 5 mins, parked on the outskirts and were in the main piazza 5 mins later. Tip, leave the main squares to eat, quieter, much better quality and value. Plus, fantastic to have free secure off road parking in Catania right at the b&b.

Not enough time to explore. I feel that the area had more to offer than on face value.

We arrived at the accommodation in the evening. The navigation took me there from the wrong place. When they opened the door Lisa the owner opened the door. Sh e was very kind, even though we arrived late. The room was just right, the cleanliness was perfect. The next day we went to breakfast and that's when we realized what a wonderful building this accommodation is. From the outside, I would never have thought that this accommodation is so tasteful and beautiful. The breakfast was also very delicious and plentiful for us. I can recommend it to everyone, even for several nights! You won't be disappointed!

Pretty much everything - Sciara Biscali is beautifully decorated, and our room was spacious and very well designed, with a fridge, nice lighting and a comfortable bed. The outside area was nice to sit in and the pool was fabulous. The property is very convenient for the airport, a 20-25 minute walk from the centre of Catania and there are supermarkets and places to eat close by. There is an excellent inexpensive seafood restaurant virtually next door. Breakfast was very good with both sweet and savoury food, and we were very well look after.

We arrived late at Catania airport and were picked up and driven to the B&B in around 10 mins. Behind the relatively modest door the most amazing B&B appeared. Realising we were tired, we were not asked to complete any payment or paperwork until morning. The room was spacious, with enough comfortable beds for 5, immaculately clean, and toiletries provided. We were allowed to use the pool early and again a lovely surprise - beautifully clean, well kept in nice gardens. And then followed by the most amazing breakfast. We needed somewhere to stay close to the airport and this B&B exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend.

As far as our stay went, there was nothing we did not like.

A beautiful home, near to the beach, the airport and good local restaurants. Toto and his daughter were extremely helpful, we had a lovely big comfortable room with a good breakfast and we were lucky to have sunshine to enjoy the garden and pool area.

We were slightly surprised by the volume and chaos of traffic nearby and the area looks neglected but we have travelled around Sicily and know that most towns are like this, it is the norm and the traffic really quietened down in the evening, so it doesn’t mar this lovely oasis of calm to stay in.

We had a wonderful stay. Thank you Toto for everything!. The bnb is a peaceful oasis and we truly felt welcomed into the home - we were not just another customer. Catania is a city of immense history and authenticity and we just loved it ! The BnB is perfectly positioned to access the beach and also the historical centre. The pool is fantastic to cool off in in the afternoons. A gem of a place.

It is a modern, well-designed villa with spacey, very comfortable and clean rooms and a big swimming pool. Safe parking. Super friendly and helpful hosts who gave us a lot of good tipps. Varied, high-quality breakfast - one of the best home made cannoli that we tasted in Sicily. 15 minutes walk to the city center. Easy to get out of the city by car in case one wants to drive to the Etna or to other destinations (big advantage considering the heavy traffic in Catania!)
