Location is excellent for the old town, promenade and station. Staff were friendly and tried to help as best they could in spite of language difficulties. Breakfast choice was good.

Air conditioning in the room was inadequate despite best efforts by us and staff to get it adjusted. Facilities in general feel a bit tired. Garden does not really describe what is there. Its a small terrace covered almost entirely by a large canopy with some plants dotted around the edges. Breakfast served until 10.00 but choices not replenished after about 9.30 unless specially requested.

The hotel is on the beachfront and our room had a balcony with a spectacular view of the ocean and the town. Free parking is available in the public lot next door. The room was very comfortable, and had a redo feel to it. Residents get 20% discount on food, nor drinks, in the restaurant which was decent. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of selections.

When you get to the room, there is a big sign that says that bringing outside food and drinks into the room is not allowed. I’ve never seen this in a hotel before, and it is NOT in the hotel policies listed on booking.com. If I had known this I would not have stayed at the property.

The location of this hotel is great, right across from the beach and a very short walk to the historic area. The streets are lined with restaurants, bars and beach clubs. It was quiet and night when we were there (March) but I imagine it could be noisy in the summer. Our room was spacious, te\he shower a little small but fine. The restaurant downstairs had a great breakfast and a super nice waiter. The balcony was lovely. We also took advantage of the laundry services in the hotel, not inexpensive but back same day. We definitely recommend Riva del Sole.

At night it was quiet outside but inside the hotel you can hear overtime someone flushes a toilet or runs a sink!

Great location if you are driving, parking is close, and free. Easy walk into historic district. We chose a lovely sea facing view, which was delightful and airy, and the room, beds, and bathroom were all clean and comfortable. Kind of retro interior design, (think 1980s) but my partner LOVED it! We loved it but some people may prefer a more contemporary aesthetic. You can see the pics for yourself. It had a very beachy feeling. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. Spacious place altogether. Nice staff.

Wonderful location right on the beach front.

We had a fantastic stay at Riva Del Sole. Our room had a balcony that faced the beach. We were in a great location; opposite the beach. close to restaurants and supermarket, close to historic centre and the free car park was right next door. The buffet breakfast was exceptional with seating on the balcony facing the beach. The staff were pleasant and very helpful.

Very minor but the toilets were very loud when flushed and could hear from other rooms.

It was in a perfect location, right across from the beautiful sea , the hotel was beautiful, the staff was kind and friendly, our room was clean , bathroom was great and they did our laundry for us since we have been traveling for weeks, folded it and put it on the bed , we felt like kings and Queens , breakfast and dinners were delicious , they had a private parking for us as well we highly recommend Hotel Riva Del Sole 😀

Nothing it was lovely

Great breakfast, comfy beds, friendly staff, clean rooms! The locations is perfect! Right next to the beach with restaurants all around! Large private parking lot!

The pictures implied that the rooms have bathtubs. Sadly upon arrival I was informed that only one room has a bath and it's taken. Was really looking forward to having a bath! :(

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The photo's online made the hotel look really old and rundown and I was nervous about what I was going to be met with when I arrived. I was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is old and the furnishings are very 80s/90s vibe, BUT the upkeep and the level of cleanliness and care that has been put into the place keeps the hotel feeling fresh. Our floors were moped every day - the housekeeping of this hotel, I take my hat off too. I have stayed in luxury 5 star hotels and this housekeeping team is far better than anything I have seen. Their main areas, the public areas - everything was perfectly clean. Buffet breakfast was fantastic, so many amazing selections. The location was great, we had seaside views and loved being able to walk out of the hotel and step right onto the beach. There are so many restaurants and cafe's around, and the old city is only a 10 minute walk.

This property is located in front of the beach. Walking distance to many restaurants & craft stores.

The only thing that bothered us was the lack of politeness from the upper staff. Meaning the women who sat in the office on the 2nd floor. She was rough & rude to the staff and us. Otherwise the staff is fantastic & amazing. I would not ever recommend this hotel to anyone because of the lack of respect this person showed in front of a lobby full of guests.
