Villa Cerniglia is a gemm on the beautiful Cefalu Lungomare! Modern and tastefully constructed with its own infinity pools on the roof which gave you an amazing sea view across the street! Its beach Club just across the main street 10 meters away from the hotel is well furnished with new sunbeds and umbrellas and its own Kontiki Bar Bistro serving great lunches and cocktails too! The room was very airey with an amazing side sea view, spotlessly clean with an ample sized bathroom with twin vanities which makes it great for husband and wife to get ready together ;) The Staff were amazing always ready to help and suggest places for us to visit on our holiday. Breakfast was good... seemed odd no sliced bread toasting facility was there but otherwise very good choice of breakfast buffet. Garage parking spacious after you manoeuvre a tight corner to go down the ramp to it as is inside basement of the hotel thankfully with a lift that connects you to the lobby and reception area, great for the odd few hours it rained! We loved our stay at the Villa Cerniglia and our holiday in Cefalu very much, we will be back next summer.

This is a well located B&B, across the road from the beach and a 15min walk to the centre of Cefalù. It is very quite and comfortable. Our room had a nice patio and garden with loungers. The staff were friendly and polite. The buffet breakfast was acceptable but not exceptional.

The mosquitos! You’ll need repellent if you don’t want to be eaten alive. Of course it’s a natural occurring phenomena but it could be a nice touch to have mosquito protection for the rooms. Also, we needed an iron as we were going to a wedding. Unfortunately it never materialised.

Our stay here was very relaxing. Villa Cerniglia Plus certainly delivers on the plus, it is hotel quality although it is a B&B. It is part of the Sunset Hotel and the staff deliver the same quality service offered in the hotel. It is perfectly positioned directly across from a wonderful part of Cefalu beach that is a little quieter than the main beach area. We had a room with an outdoor seating area on the east side of the building. Sun in the morning and cool In the afternoon which was perfect for our needs.

I have read in other reviews the swimming pool can be used by clients staying in the Villa however, that was not the case during our stay which was in May 2024. We were told that we could use the pool bar for food and drinks. To be honest the beach is so nice we didn't miss using the pool at all.

Great location and parking, everything is brand newsnd nice, with nice staff and a lovely spa. A really good place to be!

We stayed in room B, really lovely, but not wifi get there. Is far away from the main facility and there is no phone in the room so we need to walk a bit to for ask drinks or whatever we need. ( we couldn't call from ours phone due to the lack of wifi) The frigo bar was empty. The tv doesn't have internet so no Netflix or streaming for the nights or rainy days.

Location, a 10 min walk along the beach promenade , was perfect as it was out of the busy and noisy part of Cefalu and offered fantastic views of the township, bay area and mountain range. The room was relaxing and clean with a spacious balcony and bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and the infinity pool was way beyond what I expected with magnificent views.

The room did not come supplied with a kettle for coffee and tea. An iron for pressing clothes would have been handy.

This was a last minute reservation - and we were lucky considering the low price and location. The rooms are attached to the Sunset Hotel. It's like the B&B part of this hotel. Everything was very clean and the room was pretty large. A small studio would be a better description. The bathroom was also of a generous size with its walk-in shower. There was also a small room for the suitcases - where the mini-fridge was located. Breakfast was offered at the Sunset hotel exterior terrasse and consisted of a self-serve buffet with plenty of choice. Access to the small infinite pool on the Sunset hotel rooftop was also included - fantastic view on Cefalù and the beachfront from there. The staff was extremely helpful and sympathetic. If you're a Cinema Paradiso movie fan, ask the manager about the filming locations details.

Well... Nothing.

The location is one of the best when you prefer a hotel out of the croud. After this spot towards the center starts the crazyness with the beach bars. The hotel has arranged a calm part on the beach to swim and relax. Very friendly staff. Great sea view from our superior double room. Villa Cerniglia is an extension of the 4* Sunset right next to it so you get a taste of it's luxury. Cefalu is a must if you want to get a full taste of Sicily. We pointed at 3 spots and we are glad our choices met our expectations. ( Ortigia - Cefalu - Taormina )

You have to try to find something negative. Ok, mine was no liquid shower gel, they had soap. See, I found something 😁😁😁

It was magnificent, very friendly staff and the breakfast is exactly what you would want to wake up to .

Considering you have to pay additional for pool use , beach access, and beach towels . I think the price for the hotel could be lower . Not by a lot but by some . I thought for 250 a night I'd have at least the pool at my disposal without paying extra daily .

Location with sea over the road and great outlook to the Cefalu headland. Car-parking under the building available, bar, restaurant and infinity pool on the roof. Very attractive breakfast area with great breakfast.

The property is modern but showing some signs of aging and some decorative maintenance required. Carparking great to have but very tight access for larger vehicles. The location is fantastic in relation to the sea but a bit remote from Cefalu Centre

The location is amazing. The beach is right at the doorstep with a great view of cefalu old town. The room was nice and comfortable. Good breakfast as well. The only problem was the WiFi did not work for sometime and the reception did not even offer to help us with luggage which was a little disappointing. But otherwise we were very happy with the stay.
