We had a wonderful stay! Thank you to Giuseppina for serving such a lovely breakfast each morning in the garden. The room was spotless and well taken care of with daily housekeeping. The villa is in a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the beach and about 10 minutes from the old town. There are plenty of restaurants and things to see nearby. We’d definitely stay here again if we come back to Cefalù

It would be nice to add a perfume diffuser in the room because when we first walked in, there was a musty smell.

The hostess made a delicious breakfast every morning, with some items like lemon cake and lemon custard from her lemon trees in the backyard! Her crepes are outstanding. (I need the recipe!) The location is a short walk to the beach and there is an amazing grocery store right behind the house. The home is charming and clean. We were with our boys, 13 and 7. Everyone was comfortable and happy. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed at this wonderful B & B for 6 days and our host Guiseppina was very welcoming. Our room and bathroom ensuite were spacious and very clean. We enjoyed a glass of wine on our terrace in the evenings. Breakfast each morning was a surprise of fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, bruschetta and other delights, all made by our host. It was very relaxing at this accommodation and we will stay here again when we return to Cefalu. It is a beautiful seaside old town and definitely worth visiting.

Lumachella B&B is in such a central location. So close to the train station, the beach, the town, and around the corner from a huge supermarket. The host, Giuseppina, was extremely welcoming and very helpful to ensure our stay was very memorable. Breakfast in the garden was such a wonderful way to start each day. The food was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend this delightful place to stay when you visit Cefalu. You will be very glad that you did!.

The property’s location is excellent for drivers, since it is located just outside of the old town, with private parking available. The entrance way and breakfast room were beautifully furnished with what appeared to be antique furniture and accessories. The breakfast was delicious, with a lovely buffet plus made to order scrambled eggs. Our room, including the bathroom, was clean and basic.

Our only suggestion would be to provide a better quality of toiletries in the bathroom. It’s just one less thing to bring with you, especially when you’re flying and can bring a limited amount of liquids.

The room was clean & lovely! Loved having secure parking available…easy walk to the beach - actually loved the location as we got to walk along the boardwalk into the historic town - great to see the historic town from a short distance - walk was 10 min! The woman who owned it is delightful & breakfast was incredible - including her homemade jam & bruchetta! Would highly recommend!

Great location near the beach, super breakfast.

Accommodation was quite basic and a little dated for the price. It’s the first place we have stayed at that didn’t offer a complimentary bottle of water, just had a mini bar where you could purchase drinks.

Greeting was lovely and warm Our room was well thought out and for a change there was somewhere to put two cases whilst unpacking what was needed. All was very clean. Parking in the private park was easy and close by. Breakfast was lovely especially the apple cake. Guesapina was lovely and very helpful. We would stay again no problem

Our Host, Giuseppina was welcoming and kind. She ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the garden and seating area where we had many meals. The location is fantastic; close to the grocery store, beach, the old town and the train station.

The proprietor is a lovely communicative woman who makes travellers feel at home in her immaculate and elegantly decorated bed and breakfast. She gave restaruant and excursion ideas and was very easy to talk to. She provides the BEST BREAKFAST EVER - she picked fresh lemons from her tree and made lemon cake in addition to a host of other home-made and local breakfast offerings including meat, cheese, eggs if you want and fresh crepes. Really incredible. The room was spacious, immaculate and elegantly and simply decorated and inlcuded ensuite and lovely well-equiped bathroom. The bed was comfortable and included reading lights and pleanty of plugs. The parking is actually safe and onsite in gated area- very special and apprecited. We highly recommend this B and B to anyone who wants cleam simple accommodations with amazing breakfast and a wonderful local person with whom to connect. She speaks excellent English and elle parle tres bien francais!

The only thing that could have been better is that we could have stayed longer!
