This hotel is a hidden jem. A real authentic family run hotel with amazing food served by the mama. The homemade food that we have had here was the best we had in all of Italy. The family works every day to give you the best experience around lake Como. We have a lot of respect for them, also because they give you the feeling that you are at home. Their hospitality and kindness is truly out of this world. They will help you with anything you want. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the airconditioning worked very well. The breakfast was freshmade and it was delicious. Mattia, the owner, also provides you with an extensive information brochure containing the best things to do around lake Como. We used the brochure a lot for hiking trails and parking places. It helped us a lot to explore the beautiful nature of Sorico and Como. He also helped us book a horse-riding experience which was amazing. Because of this family, our trip was really special and perfect for us. It felt like home. We will definitely, without any doubt, come back soon to this hotel and mama's food.

We recently spent 5 days at this wonderful family hotel and had an absolutely awesome experience! The warm and welcoming atmosphere made our stay truly special. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Papa and Mama in the kitchen treated us to delicious handmade pasta, creating a homey and authentic culinary experience. Mattia and his sister provided perfect service, attending to every detail with genuine care. The facilities were top-notch, and the location was perfect for our family vacation. Family run hotel, very welcoming, very personable. If you asked them for something, nothing was too much bother. Food was great. Everything was homemade, and delicious at that. Rooms were spotless and comfy. Mattia, the proprietor, even helped me jumpstart my car. Liked it so much we actually extended our stay. There was an info pack in the room like a PhD dissertation.

Really scratching to find something I disliked, but didn't like having to use my phone to view the menu, would rather have just had a sheet of paper to look at. That said, Mattia would probably have printed the menu off if I'd asked.

The hotel and staff were very welcoming and friendly, which made for a very happy stay. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable, and the balcony had excellent views. They gave us extensive information on activities and must-visit places in the area, making planning our days easy. The best part of the stay was the sublime dinner, with handmade pasta, which was the best pasta we've ever eaten. Thank you to the whole staff for making our stay so enjoyable and their cute cat Mitsi for allowing us to pet her ❤️ We can't wait to return for a longer stay!

The owners,an italian family, were so kind, polite and warm. It was a real pleasure staying there.The breakfast was delicious, the food of their restaurant was excellent, with homemade pasta and always quick and nice service. Our kids loved it and we also did.We would definitely go and stay there again 🙂 Sorico is a beautiful and quiet village, where you can walk calmly around the lake.

Nothing really..we enjoyed everything during this stay.

They were really nice to us, and we understand each other very quick. The rooms are comfortable, and nice, we got new towel every day, the view was amazing, and they have shutter which was a plus point. The breakfast was also really good:) Mattia is really kind and funny guy, he is the best host ever. We celebrate my best friend's birthday there, and they make for us suprise cake to my request. The home made pasta was wery delicious, and the wine also. The lake is 2 min from the hotel, this part of the lake is very calm, you can drink an aperol. We always have parking place next to the hotel. If you are not a morning person, you should bring earplug for yourself, because there is a church that often rings the bell.

Many things, first: the food, everything is homemade by Mattia’s mom so it is very authentic and delicious. Second: how they took care of us, my wife got sick when we were there and they prepared some special food for her and gave us medicine at night. (everything was genuine and sweet) I really appreciated this because we didn’t know what to do. Third: the effort, Mattia’s tips were very helpful ( the weather was rainy so unfortunately we didn’t use any) but, he really knows the area and he has some useful tips about what to do and how to do it. overall me and my wife loved everything.

Nothing. we really liked everything and felt like we are at our home for our 5 nights stay.

So friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, Mattia was wonderful. Our stay was fabulous, comfortable and spacious room, the atmosphere was laid back and we throughly enjoyed our stay . We would visit again. Mattia’s guide was excellent.

Right at the North end of Lake Como

We are so thankful to Mattia and all of his family for hospitality and patience towards us. We were late and Mattia waited for us despite it being late. All throughout the visit we felt especially welcome. The small and cosy family hotel is worth much more than 3 stars - everything was perfect – quiet location with a perfect view, comfortable beds, eveything worked properly, friendly staff and ESPECIALLY clean. Tasty breakfast, good coffee. The ristorante with Mattias‘s mama's prepared dishes was exellent - home made pastas and deserts were especially dellicious! You could really feel the quality in all aspects. A detailed guide prepared by Mattia was really helpful and contained plenty of tips and suggestions about sightseeing and activities. I highly recommend this hotel if you‘re looking for place that feels like home. When our big family was leaving they even give us a parting present - a traditional italian Easter cake ❤️ Thank you again Mattia for kindness, helpfulness, effort and sense of humor - you are simply amazing!
