I am a returning guest and still extremely satisfied about my staying at the Miramare. I had the same room as the previous stay and I was delighted to find it tasteful redecorated. The location, the cleanliness of the entire structure, the staff and everything else about the hotel is superb. A special thanks goes to Antonella and her colleagues taking care of the breakfast section. Nothing was ever too much to ask, even on a very busy day they were switched on and very proactive always using the same care with every guest. Every single member of staff I have dealt with was fantastic. Many thanks (number 1)

The WiFi in my room was a bit weak but great everywhere else🙁

We went to this hotel last year and returned knowing that although the rooms are basic, we would thoroughly enjoy ourselves here, the staff are lovely, particularly Francesca on the reception who is very friendly and always happy to help out, lovely young lady, who was also at the hotel last year. It was great to see her friendly face once again. Breakfast is lovely and the serving staff are helpful, particularly the lovely smiley lady at the bar area who makes the morning coffee. The location is great, just across the road from the beach, where the sea water is crystal clear and safe for children. Two Sun beds and an umbrella cost €20 per day, this can add up if you are staying for a while, there is a free beach area, where you can bring your own towels. The hotel can arrange for parking just down the road for €7 per day, a great price when we have sometimes been paying crazy prices such as €25 per day!!

Hotel Miramare is probably in the best possible location in Otranto. Right on the sea face boulevard, a very short walk into the old town. Many lovely restaurants and cafes all around, and along the waterfront area. And specially not to miss a delightful gelato and a dessert at Martinucci Pastecheria, right below the Hotel. The hotel is old but decently maintained. Rooms look recently renovated and spotlessly clean. We had a room with a balcony facing the sea which was really fantastic. Housekeeping service is provided daily. Good & ample breakfast was available on both mornings. The staff was caring and attentive. The hotel has an arrangement with a parking lot about 100 metres from the hotel, where we parked at a rate of 6 Euros/day which was very reasonable.

The hotel could think of providing a Electric kettle in the room.

The front desk staff was very friendly and professional. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a triple room with a balcony. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast was good, a typical Italian sweet breakfast with some cold cuts and yogurt. The location is very good, just a block to the promenade and then a short walk to the historical center of town. The lobby is very large with plenty of space to sit in different rooms. Our air conditioning didn't work correctly when we arrived, so the front desk staff sent a technician up while we were out. After that, it worked much better but still not as well as every other air conditioner. Also, this was the only room we've stayed at during this trip that did not have a coffee maker or hot water for tea, so we think that should be added.

The location is excellent, beside the seafront area and just a few minutes walk to the old town. The were really friendly and professional and kindly upgraded us to a triple room with a balcony with partial sea views which was appreciated. The room was large, clean, and comfortable with good wifi. Breakfast was simple but enough to satisfy most tastes. A great option for a stay in Otranto.

The parking is a little hard to find so we ended up going to the wrong one and paying over the odds - but that's not a deal breaker for a short stay.

Hotel is an EXCELLENT location to stay in Otranto!! We had a sea view room with a balcony and what a view!! Was great to sit on the balcony and enjoy. The room was a nice size, had a great closet with lots of room and mini bar. The staff were AMAZING, friendly, caring and BEYOND helpful!! Jessica was always eager to help us whenever we were in need; such an asset to the hotel!! You don't need a car while staying there as everything is just a few minutes away on foot!! There is however a private parking lot just a block away that the hotel gets a special rate from if you do have a car. We LOVED our stay at Hotel Miramar, hated to leave and will definitely be back!!

Sandra who works at reception went above and beyond even when we arrived a day early. She found a us a room. She helped us book a tour with Christina and Franco. The following hotel staff were absolutely fabulous. Carolina wanted our coffee order and breakfaatand even helped us as our Italian was very limited. Giuseppe, Doris, and Antonella were so sweet. Patrizia, Grazia, and Teresa cleaned our rooms beautiful. Hotel Miramare was awesome. We had a balcony view that looked across the beautiful promande. Quiet and peaceful and sanctuary for a couple's retreat. The hotel is right across from the beach and located mid town. It was a perfect location It was absolutely beautiful. Sandra recommended restaurants to us and we tried to eat everything in Otranto. Staff were exceptional and had the ability to make contacts for othwr outings in the area ,(yours and other hotels when we left the area). Staff were knowledgeable about the town and the region. This vacation will remembered ever so fondly.

I didn't like that I had to leave. I wish I was still there.
