The location is the best in the city So close to the beach and the town Kudos go to staff, they were lovely. It is very clean. We had a great size of room.

1. There is no drying rack or pegs as you would need when you go to beach, hence had difficulties to manage that 2. the breakfast area is small, they are not all displayed, no buffet hence you need to wait for the staff to serve and bring them from kitchen - roof terrace might be used for breakfast as well as as a bar The ingredients of breakfast was not reflecting Puglia area, it was more on the industrialized side. 3.no encouragement to use roof bar hence it was empty

It was clean and modern, with simple plain decor. Our room (superior sea view) was on 2nd floor, and gave great views over the sea, the harbour, and the town. It was very handy for the old town (200 metres away). Breakfasts were great - excellent fast friendly service, with hot and cold dishes. On first arrival at the hotel, we were warmly greeted, and offered parking in the gardens at the back for 7€ a night. The receptionist accompanied me to the parking area and explained the gate operation. Excellent service.

It was noisy out in the street about 2:00 a.m on two of the three nights of our stay. Not the hotel’s fault, just revellers letting off steam. But this was first week in June. Could maybe be lively in the summer. The hotel was secure however. Doors locked at night. Door staff on duty.

This hotel is an absolute must! Upon our arrival, we could not find the parking even though its behind the hotel. The street is regulated by the police and the front desk staff is super helpful to help you find it but you may want to save their phone number to call. The lady at the reception (Eleonora), jumped in our car to show me the way around it. The hotel facility is beautiful! The location is perfect, we were near the area of the castle and the cathedral and there were lots of restaurants and things to do nearby. Its also really close to the beach, like a 5 min walk. The beach nearby is beautiful, even if you dont have a car, you can see the beautiful Puglia water. We were travelling in a group of 4 friends celebrating 2 birthdays. The hotel made all possible to make us feel comfortable. Our rooms were not next to each other, but they were one floor apart. No complaints, all worked out. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and newly arranged. All worked properly, AC was working and helped us fight the July heat during this time of the year. The owner of the hotel, Francesco, was so helpful, with suggestions and care with our stay. We felt right at home. And to add to all that, the hotel has a bar on the 3rd floor, and the sunset there is absolutely amazing. The bartender and waiter at the breakfast (Alessandro) was super friendly and even got a couple of cupcakes so we could celebrate my friends's bdays. I honestly loved our stay. I cannot recommend this hotel any higher. Everything was absolutely perfect and I will definitely be back! Thank you!

All was perfect at the hotel. One thing to note, but not the hotels fault, is that you do have access to a public beach nearby, but the paid one is better, specially because you have access to toilets and restaurants. Other than that, the hotel was perfect. I cannot wait to come back!

A fresh and contemporary small boutique hotel with a quiet beach vibe. The location was exceptional - close to shops, beach, eateries and the castle (more shops and eateries). Breakfast was really good. Staff were very friendly and helpful on all occasions. View across Otranto and the beach and sea view were lovely - was great to have a small outdoor balcony to enjoy the sea breeze. Parking arrangement (off-site) was good with personal guidance to our car park on arrival. Could not fault the service.

Room was on the small side in comparison to the other properties we stayed in on our trip through Italy. There was a terrace roof top bar - this area could do with a bit of colour - it lacked a little bit of life so didn't encourage you to go there or stay and linger longer than one drink before heading out to a different vibe with more atmosphere. Some bright plants, some hurricane lamps on tables would make a big difference. Furniture was comfortable though.

So many good things to share about the Bella Vista Hotel. It's not only located near everything in the old city of Otranto, but we were fortunate enough to have a deck with a view of the Adriatic. (I'd request one of those rooms) The room was well-appointed, though not large. The staff truly aim to please, and are delighted to help with recommendations, directions, and special requests: Some of us had bad colds during our trip, and the desk person prepared hot water for us so we could have hot tea after dinner in the hotel lounge, even though it was after hours. They offer a lovely buffet breakfast with everything you could want, including made-to-order eggs. Our waiter (who looked like a younger, thinner, handsomer Zach Galifianakis) attended to our every need. All-in-all, a great hotel experience. (And it's walking distance to a laundromat if you need that, and a very nice supermarket to purchase food for a picnic or treats to bring back home.)

Location, hotel is steps from the old town and also the beach. Parking, this proved to be invaluable, parking is at a premium and difficult to find in the smaller cities in Puglia so being able to book a space for the duration of our trip was amazing. Location is secure and right around the corner from the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful

Breakfast was lovely but perhaps a suggestion would be to have a few more of the items on the buffet instead of having to order each day, the cakes and croissants etc could probably be set out and guests could order the eggs etc a la carte.

Location is perfect. So close to the beach and the town . Our room was clean and comfortable and had a balcony . The air conditioning was so quiet ! The receptionist was charming and helpful . She even went with my husband to show him the car park. Breakfast was simple but delicious and had everything you wanted and the chap serving us was friendly and helpful Could not fault anything about this hotel. Would recommend completely and would return if ever I was in otranto again .

No complaints at all

Lovely small boutique hotel in a fantastic location very close to the castle, beach, shops and restaurants. Clean modern room with a great shower and very powerful air conditioning. Lobby is large and bright with plenty of seating. Reception always manned and staff very friendly. Breakfast was a choice of cereals, bread and juices with a menu of additional options including cooked eggs and bacon. Spacious rooftop terrace overlooking the town. Parking available at the back of the hotel for 7e a day. Really enjoyed our stay and can recommend to any fellow travellers.

The hotel offers nothing aside from your room and breakfast. I would have like more activities and given the large roof terrace perhaps early evening drinks/morning yoga sessions etc could be made available in the future.

Beautifully renovated boutique hotel in an amazing location. 50 meters from historical centre with stunning direct view of the bay and promenade. Walking distance to restaurants, beaches, old town and harbour. Very friendly staff and good breakfast.

Parking is behind the hotel in a secure place but takes about 100 meters walk to get to when checking out. At check in a staff member will guide you to the parking place but it s not a spot you can find by yourself. Because hotel is right near the old town it s just a little more tricky with regards to initial parking but great help from staff and well worth the effort. And in the end you do get a safe parking spot.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Bellavista and its location close the the old town is very nice. Also the private parking is very good and at a reasonable cost. The staff is great. A special thank you to the very friendly server of the breakfast! We also enjoyed the beaches closeby and Otranto provided a good place to explore the area up to Lecce and down to Santa Maria de Leuca. Chris & Sandra
