Location, hotel is steps from the old town and also the beach. Parking, this proved to be invaluable, parking is at a premium and difficult to find in the smaller cities in Puglia so being able to book a space for the duration of our trip was amazing. Location is secure and right around the corner from the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful

Breakfast was lovely but perhaps a suggestion would be to have a few more of the items on the buffet instead of having to order each day, the cakes and croissants etc could probably be set out and guests could order the eggs etc a la carte.

So many good things to share about the Bella Vista Hotel. It's not only located near everything in the old city of Otranto, but we were fortunate enough to have a deck with a view of the Adriatic. (I'd request one of those rooms) The room was well-appointed, though not large. The staff truly aim to please, and are delighted to help with recommendations, directions, and special requests: Some of us had bad colds during our trip, and the desk person prepared hot water for us so we could have hot tea after dinner in the hotel lounge, even though it was after hours. They offer a lovely buffet breakfast with everything you could want, including made-to-order eggs. Our waiter (who looked like a younger, thinner, handsomer Zach Galifianakis) attended to our every need. All-in-all, a great hotel experience. (And it's walking distance to a laundromat if you need that, and a very nice supermarket to purchase food for a picnic or treats to bring back home.)

Lovely small boutique hotel in a fantastic location very close to the castle, beach, shops and restaurants. Clean modern room with a great shower and very powerful air conditioning. Lobby is large and bright with plenty of seating. Reception always manned and staff very friendly. Breakfast was a choice of cereals, bread and juices with a menu of additional options including cooked eggs and bacon. Spacious rooftop terrace overlooking the town. Parking available at the back of the hotel for 7e a day. Really enjoyed our stay and can recommend to any fellow travellers.

The hotel offers nothing aside from your room and breakfast. I would have like more activities and given the large roof terrace perhaps early evening drinks/morning yoga sessions etc could be made available in the future.

Beautifully renovated boutique hotel in an amazing location. 50 meters from historical centre with stunning direct view of the bay and promenade. Walking distance to restaurants, beaches, old town and harbour. Very friendly staff and good breakfast.

Parking is behind the hotel in a secure place but takes about 100 meters walk to get to when checking out. At check in a staff member will guide you to the parking place but it s not a spot you can find by yourself. Because hotel is right near the old town it s just a little more tricky with regards to initial parking but great help from staff and well worth the effort. And in the end you do get a safe parking spot.

The owner/manager (and rest of staff too actually) were amazing. He let us check in early, leave our bags by reception the day we left and nothing was too much bother. He even showed us the rooftop terrace which was close to being finished - to be kitted out with bar, tables and chairs etc to take advantage of the wonderful view! Hotel was awesome. Felt like it was new (although I think a couple of years old). Breakfast was plentiful and included savories (scrambled eggs) in addition to the traditional Italian breakfast of croissants and cakes. Location was perfect. We had a lovely little private terrace overlooking the back of the castle.

Nothing except the mosquito who joined us (uninvited) to our room overnight. Not the hotel's fault but meant had to wear sunglasses to hide the swollen eye the next morning.

The hotel is located just a few meters from the Otranto bay and at a walking distance from all the main highlights and restaurants. The property and the rooms are well maintained and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. One of them even guided us to the parking spot, which was close but not easily accessible due to ongoing road work. The included breakfast was delicious and varied, would choose the hotel again if visiting Otranto.

We selected Hotel Bellavista because of the location, parking, and the elevator-- and were pleased beyond our expectations. It was a perfect stay this family-run hotel in a beautiful and historical sea-side town. Our room was super clean, the breakfast options were excellent and plentiful, and the family generously shared their books about the history of Otranto for research about the castle. We hope to return someday soon.

Very central location just steps from the old town with a nice view across a small park to the sea. Quite windy during our stay so sadly couldn't use the nice furnished balcony. Staff were super helpful. Room was bright and nicely decorated. Breakfast (with some cooked options) was fine. Would definitely return.

Difficult to find if arriving by car. Once you realise you need to drive through what looks like a pedestrian area between cafes to get to the car park it's easy! The bar is really just an area in the foyer.

The hotel is perfectly located, right on the waterfront between the historical centre and the main beach area. Parking is available for 7 euro per day and you can drop off your luggage and a hotel staff member will accompany you to the parking area a few minutes away. The room, while not huge, was adequate and attractively decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent, and includes eggs and bacon.

Very comfy and large bed, good service from the staff and really excellent location. Lovely to have a balcony overlooking the little square and very cool and peaceful in the room. Cleaning done everyday which is good if you are getting sandy from going to the beach! Very modern and clean.

Personally thought breakfast could have been a little better. The coffee tasted like it was made with UHT milk and the cakes/ meats etc had to be ordered. It is much nicer when this is done as a buffet. We ate much better and had better coffee at a local cafe. Decor of room wasn't quite as nice as in pictures, our room was a strange shape.
