A very relaxing place to stay in a good location. Great breakfast buffet.

Having the pool open in October would be even better.

We very much enjoyed our stay of 10 days in Hotel Vittoria! The hotel is centrally located but at the same time absolutely quiet: It is only a 5 to 10 minutes' walk to reach the lively historic center of charming Otranto; the amazing sea promenade with its numerous bars and excellent restaurants; and last but not least the nice city beaches (spiagge libere or bagni, all sporting sandy beaches and crystal-clear water). Our room was spacious with a large bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the garden and the pool area. The bed was very comfortable and the wardrobe had a good size. Breakfast was buffet style and very good. The swimming-pool was nice and actually much larger than expected. Number of sunbeds and sunshades was fine. Free parking on the ground was fine as well, although it might become a bit crammed in July/August.

Some smaller things: Lights in the bathroom were a bit dim. Additional sockets near the bed would have been nice. And part of the furniture in our room (the table and the desk) were rather tired.

Breakfast was good. The location was perfect just outside of the main area, 3 minutes walk away. Parking was free if you use the rear carpark just passed the hotel up a single track drive.

Sadly the pool was closed and didn't open until mid May. The spa didn't open until 4 pm and was a little limited so I can imagine it gets busy in the main season. These are more points to note, rather than complaints.

We loved this hotel, the staff were so friendly especially on reception. Our room was large, two good size wardrobes, a safe, toiletries, fridge and a balcony with drying facilities. Decor is a bit dated but very much in the italian style you find in most hotels in Italy. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linens were really high quality. Air conditioning was a bit warm the first night and you can't really change the temperature in the room however if you go to reception they can adjust it for you and then it was great. Hotel is relaxing and quiet, the pool area was beautiful and peaceful, with lots of beds and chairs but it can get a bit busy later in the afternoon. We ate at the pool bar, the food was simple, a bit slow to come out sometimes but it was really tasty. They also have a good selection of drinks including proper coffees, beers, wines and icecreams. The pool was much larger than we expected a good depth all the way along and you can do a really good length when swimming. Lots of spaces for your car if you have one however again it does get busy in the later afternoon. The Hotel is so convenient for the town and beach it is literally a 5 min walk to the promenade with all the restaurants and bars and around 7 mins to the old town. We loved to walk down in the morning and then again at night to watch the sunset, get some drinks and then dinner. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to be back.

Braakfast had a good selection of different items however was a bit basic. I can understand why people didn't like it, we found it to be adequate but we have experienced better quality products in other parts of Italy. The fact we couldn't adjust our air conditioning was a bit annoying when we arrived and it would have been good to know a quick trip to reception can sort it out. Would be good if guests were informed of this on arrival or on the website.

The pool and the pool bar are great, the reception staff are very nice and helpful. We have also enjoyed the restaurant and the live music (some days of the week) is a very pleasant bonus. The location very close to the city centre and the port is extremely convenient. I liked the fact that the hotel has an agreement with the Alimini beach nearby (a great sandy beach) and you get to buy from the reception a voucher for front row sunchairs (and umbrellas). All in all it was a very pleasant stay, I would definitely go back.

There is a good selection of food for the breakfast, everybody will find something to eat in the morning, but a bit repetitive and for a 4* hotel, I've seen better. The cleaning personnel is not very helpful. I had to ask twice, two different cleaners, for a shampoo refill. But overall, really minor inconveniences.

Everything was perfect. Excellent swimming pool, wonderful breakfast, short walking distance from Otranto's main attractions. I will be back for sure. The hotel staff is super professional and extremely kind.

The air conditioning cannot be handle from the room. You have to ask the hotel staff to in/decrease the temperature of your room. Finally, if bed pillows could be a bit harder, that would be perfect.

We loved our stay here, our room was very comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The pool at the resort was perfect as was the restaurant and breakfast. A couple of nights the hotel had singers in the garden after dinner, which was an added bonus. The location was perfect, a very short walk into town and the old town, lots of restaurants and shopping close by. We loved everything about our stay here.

The grounds are lovely, and the pool was refreshing. We especially liked the bar by the pool and ate delicious salads for lunch. The room was very spacious, with a long balcony. Dinner at Vicky’s was outstanding, with fabulous service and a live band for entertainment. The buffet breakfast was plentiful. We can’t wait to go back!

There were no towels left by the pool. The bathroom in our room was poorly lit.

Wouldn’t recommend the hotels beach club recommendation. Large noisy beach 10 minutes drive away thousands of beds and canteen style beach bar. We only stayed 2 hours. We much preferred the small beach in otranto with many choices of restaurants and nicer chilled out vibe.

Great location with short walk to restaurants and bars. Spacious room and onsite parking available. Lovely pool area with lots of seating. Great breakfast selection.

Bed was very firm. Each night there was live music happening in the restaurant area downstairs which was very audible from our room even with doors/windows closed.
