We loved our stay at the beautifully restored Masseria! Everything is just perfect -- the facility, room, linens, landscape, breakfast. And the staff are truly delightful and do everything to make sure your stay in Salento lovely -- from recommendations on what to see, where to drive, where to eat. Just wonderful! The charming owner cooked us a lovely dinner one evening -- highly recommended -- and make sure to ask about the history of Otranto! We took a lovely drive around the seaside villages. Wonderful location, just a couple minutes to Otranto. I wish we would have stayed another day to have a cooking class! We loved our stay!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel in Otranto. The location is fantastic, with an unbelievably well-maintained garden that adds so much charm to the property. The rooms and overall grounds are impeccably cared for, making it one of the most pleasant stays we've had in Italy. The staff were exceptional—attentive, kind, and genuinely the best we've encountered. Breakfast was a highlight, and the pool area is perfect for relaxing. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Otranto!

Spacious rooms, clean and modern (while keeping the history of the place alive) facilities overall, very friendly and helpful staff, great food (only had breakfast and dinner once), quiet pool area, lots of privacy, walking proximity to Otranto town. We would definitely book again!

Prices for drinks at the pool / minibar were a bit high compared to other bars in the town but overall okay given the luxurious environment

Beautiful modern Masseria(our first Masseria!) very near Otranto(though not walkable as we had hoped.) Delightful receptionists - both Giulia and Zaira were the pulse of the Masseria. Both multi-lingual, cheerful, full of great ideas which they kindly shared with us. They were also our servers at our one dinner and for breakfast. Our dip pool was a lovely, welcomed feature as we arrived on one of the hot days in early May. The main pool was beautiful, but mostly too windy to sit around, other than on our first day. Outdoor breakfast terrace stunning with a wonderful varied selection of options. Beautiful, comfortable, clean room with sitting area. Decor was modern with lovely Puglian decor. The owner was most kind and available. Highly recommend this Masseria.

We loved everything!

The room was spacious and it was great to have a personal outdoor space to relax. The pool was an added bonus on hot days. It was a 15 min walk into town, and we did that every night for our three-night stay. The first 100m is walking on the side of the road and then you're on a path. It was great to have a peaceful place to stay outside of the town yet still be able to access everything on foot.

We thought the service and the staff were amazing, we felt very welcome and all of our needs were met and beyond. I would recommend this hotel to everyone thinking of visiting Otrano, it’s the perfect distance from the town with a lovely taxi driver who can take you to wherever you need to go. We could not have asked for a better experience.

Everything was perfect.

Beautiful masseria. The grounds were stunning and the room exceptionally well appointed, bright and airy with a private outdoor space. The bathroom was modern and shower very good. The staff were friendly and welcoming and were very helpful in recommending restaurants and ordering taxis. Manuele deserves a separate mention because she was really lovely friendly and helpful.

The staff were absolutely amazing, they made us feel very welcome, provided us with lots of good restaurant recommendations, were incredibly helpful, gave a great service and breakfast, lunch and dinner were all of a good quality. The rooms were spacious, smart, comfortable and private. The pool was really nicely done too. The place feels very small, quiet and exclusive.

The location is out of town and you can't walk into Otranto so we either had to drive or get a tuc tuc when we went out. Regarding the room, my wife thought it had a slightly damp smell due to the steam room being within the room (although l didn't smell it.)

We came to Masseria Longa for our honeymoon and stayed for 2 weeks. It was truthfully the best holiday we have ever had. The Masseria is beautiful, truly beautiful and the staff simply couldn't do enough for us. As the Masseria is small everything felt so personal. From the moment of booking communication with Annamaria and Giulia was outstanding. Any question we had was answered quickly. Upon arrival they both made us feel incredibly welcome. They provided local recommendations, made reservations for us and helped us with our Italian! Beyond that both Annamaria and Giulia became our firm friends. Our room was amazing, clean and comfy with a touch of luxury with a huge hot tub bath, steam room and very large balcony. Marisa, who is one of the owners, ensured that every meal we had at the Masseria was cooked with love and everything was simply delicious. Marisa is a real gem, full of humour and again couldn't do enough for us both. Both owners are at the Masseria every day, again showing the care and dedication they have to their guests. The Masseria Longa are a family and we both feel so lucky to have been a part of that family for our honeymoon. Thank you to everyone who makes The Marissa Longa so special.

Nothing everything was perfect.

This is a magical place for resting and restoration. The gardens are lovely and the infinity pool is blissful. We arrived late and very stressed with Otranto traffic and had been let down badly by our last hotel. We were delighted to find this oasis. They welcomed us so warmly, made a late supper to order and were so kind. Our room was gorgeous, spacious and quiet. We had a private spa pool and a garden with comfortable chairs. The bed is massive and we slept so well. We added an extra day to our stay to relax and unwind at the pool cabanas. The staff are outstanding and Antony arranged a dinner reservation in Otranto- a miracle as it was Ferragusta! He also booked an ApeCar to take us there and back- no parking or traffic. The Hotel is minutes from beautiful Otranto and I highly recommend this lovely place to stay if you are visiting.
