Perfect location for travelling to other towns on the lake both by bus and ferry - close to ferry terminal and bus stops. Stunning views over lake Garda, both from our room and the breakfast/terrace area. The hotel is immaculate in all areas. The restaurant and bar staff were very friendly and professional and couldn’t do enough for you. Very varied choices for breakfast and evening meals were also delicious. The bar staff went above and beyond for us by ordering in more cider when they ran out as we don't drink lager! These are the kind of special touches you will find at this hotel. I’m not surprised that people go back year after year.

We would have liked to have sat outside for the evening meal and we are not sure why this is only permitted at breakfast time.

Perfect location with a 15 minute walk to the harbour and town, which was full of wonderful places to eat and drink . The hotel was very relaxing and quiet with great staff. Was a perfect place to stay post Verona and prior to Venice 👌

Our room was very small, with a window that faced a wall, so very little natural light. We are of average height and BMI and still only one of us could be moving at anyone time, the other had to stay on the bed. However your time in the room is minimal and the outside space lovely.

The staff were fantastic, very accommodating and friendly both during and before our stay. The hotel location was perfect with a very short walk into Garda town and opposite the ferry port. Pool and view were luxuries during our stay and breakfast offered a wide range of options. Food and drink was reasonably priced. All inclusive tea time was a nice touch.

Air conditioning was poor but the staff were responsive to this providing an effective fan. Hair dryer could do with upgrading. No option of late check out and limited facilities to get ready to leave for the airport, with only an outdoor shower available.

The food was excellent and the room was spotlessly clean

I felt that all the staff were watching to see if we didn't sign the bill to our room. My wife was shouted at by one of the staff to 'SIGN' on day one. We had some food waiting for our room to be ready. I was following just behind with every intention of doing so. Not a good look on arrival! Completely different to our last visit 10 years ago where the staff couldn't have been nicer and friendly. Sorry but we both felt that we were treated as thieves in waiting, with no justification! Shame as everything else was excellent

This hotel is the perfect place to relax. The hotel is spotlessly clean in all areas. The room was spacious and bright and well equipped The breakfast was fantastic with a huge range to choose from which was replenished regularly and very good quality. Plenty of serving staff well organised always there to help The hotel is just a 5 minute walk away from Garda with all its restaurants, bars and shops on the lake

I couldn’t fault the hotel apart from the steep climb to the entrancesup

We liked our big room and balcony with a beautiful view of the lake. The pool area was nice. Easy walk for the ferry or into Garda.

We had a couple of cold rainy days and there was no facility for heating the bedroom which was freezing cold. We didn't like the constant road noise while relaxing by the pool and the sunbeds were uncomfortable. Not much option for my gluten free breakfast and one of the waiters put some ready toasted bread in a packet with my gf options,fortunately we realised it was not gluten free. When I pointed this out his response was " no problemo" even though I would have been extremely ill if I had eaten it!

The hotel was beautifully clean, our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking lake Garda and pool. The rooms were made up everyday, breakfast was lovely and plentiful kept us going for a good few hours. At 5pm they offer free bitesize cakes, snacks and hot drinks. Friendly staff, bar prices only a few cents more than bars in town. We had a couple of evening meals at the hotel which were excellent. Short 5 minute walk to the ferry and town and you can walk along the promenade to Bardolino about 50 ?min stroll and we got the ferry back. Absolutely fabulous hotel, location and would return if we went back to the same town.

Lounge/bar area lacked atmosphere and seemed under furnished. I didn't find the furniture very comfortable either

Where to start - this hotel is fantastic. We had half board , so I was a bit skeptical about dinner but let me say WOW! 4 courses - fine dining with a choice of 3/4 things for courses. Food was phenomenal. Breakfast - so much choice and all tasted superb. 4 o'clock they bring out coffee/tea and selection of cakes and sandwiches. We had lunch a couple of days and their salads were gorgeous. Even drinks were not stupid prices - roughly what you would pay here in the city. Staff could not do enough for you. Tables are reserved for you so there is no jostling for a table. Minibar in room which had water and juice for free. Water replenished everyday. Location - perfect. 5 minute walk to shops, bars and restaurants and ferry terminal on your door step so quick and easy access . Excellent spot. Pool small but enough for a dip. Can't really fault anything. Will come back here for sure.

Great location, stunning views, lovely communal decor, & a great terrace for breakfast

The evening meals had to be taken inside & not using the beautiful outside terrace with stunning views - crazy & so frustrating. No ironing facilities in the whole hotel. Wanted to charge you €8 per item to get it ironed so that would be £250 for a couple’s clothes for a week. The rooms are too small for the quality of hotel & you’re falling over yourself trying to move around. The pool towels look faded & feel past their best.

Breakfast had a reasonable choice of both hot and cold dishes. We took the dinner option too though didn't book this in advance- this was a fixed price menu with choices for starter and main. Salad and dessert were from the buffet. Lake view from the room was good and the balcony was a good size. For the able bodied, hotel is quite close to Garda.

Hotel is up a steep drive from the road and this wasn't made clear from the listing. This meant I could not easily walk into Garda. Only 1 chair in a double room is not ideal, though had it been later in the season we would have sat quite happily on the balcony until late.
