The location was ideal, literally less than a 10 minute walk to the train station, the Vesuvio Express shuttle or Ercolano Scavi. It could not have been better. :) Both rooms were clean and spacious - good water pressure, plenty of hot water, a hair dryer, TV, delicious chocolate cookies, strong WiFi, very good room lighting etc. Within 5 minutes of contacting Raffaele he arrived with the keys and showed me the property. We agreed the time I would return the keys and Raffaele was right on time as promised. Raffaele is a warm host with a big smile who wants to ensure you are pleased. I was thrilled I picked this property.

Exceptional location. It couldn’t be easier to find and easier to get to Ercolano Scavi, restaurants and bus/train stations.

It was very clean, u can make coffee in the room, wifi was great, there are 2 doors to get in, one is a big iron one which made it feel more safe. Shower was working fine with hot water, bed was comfortable. U have to walk to a cafe to have the breakfast (5min walk) which is a coffee and 1 croissan, it was delicious, but it was a lot to always start the morning with something sweet. Shops are around 5min walk.

Its a store front room, so its very noisy still in the midnight hours till around 4am with cars and honking as well. The toilet isnt working properly its having a hard time flushing down the paper. The owner doesnt speak english so the communication is a bit hard but on whatsapp it was easier so i could use translate from italian to english.

I liked the late check-in. The bathroom was quite spacious. The location was decent for visiting Pompei ruins and all the historical sights. There was a stocked mini fridge with water and milk which was handy. There was air conditioning too which was fab. The owner provided free WI-Fi. Close enough to stores etc.

The bed was super loud and just not the most comfortable. The location is not in a very quiet place as described, right next to a busy street actually. Unfortunately, I landed the nights that there were fireworks right outside the door at night (normal in southern Italy). There was no hot water at least when I was staying there. Just a bit outdated but again normal for this area.

It's close to Ercolano ruins, and I found nice restaurants and bakeries in the neighborhood.

You basically sleep in a cave on ground level, and the road bends around it, so you feel like you're in the middle of a traffic jam all the time. Lots of cars and scooters accelerate exactly at the point of the windows, day and night. The owner was stressed, impolite. He hardly spoke English and came knocking on my door at 9.00 AM (while I was in the shower) to ask how long I would take to get out. Really not nice. I asked for a gluten free breakfast, but it turned out that the "breakfast included" was a coffee machine that stood in the corner of the room. This has been the worst experience I have had with a hostel ever.
